Strong Hammer Contracting

Good experience. Work done was very professional. Client service was good. Only downside was it took a few weeks to get an opening, but I would recommend them and use them again.

The work was excellent. We had repairs done previously by roofers, but it is hard to find a vendor who truly knows how to work with a tile roof. Strong Hammer Contracting did great work and were at the house early every day (other than when it rained). They even worked on Sunday a few times. Marcos is very user-friendly. He stayed in constant contact while the job was going on, giving us regular updates of the work (as well as numerous photographs of their progress). I would highly recommend them for any roofing work!

Showed up on time & did the job. Also inspected & gave quote to repair a gutter & some leaks that I knew of. Said someone would call the following Monday to schedule a date for that work, but no one has. Otherwise went fine.

Well. They also gave an estimate for roof shingles that are missing.

The 2 people that came were very professional and conteous and I believe they did a good job. They seemed to have the knowlege on their field. But they promise a quote for performing the mayor repairs, to be delivered the date after. Up today I have not received it :(

Very well. The representative seemed nice, knowledgable and honest. We will be getting additional estimates for the work to be done but on the service seems like they made good recommendations.

After we moved in to our house and experienced the first heavy rain-storm we discovered several leaks. I found Strong Hammer through Angie's List and Marcos showed up. He explained that whoever did the roof was not a roofer as it was not done correctly. ie. the shingles were placed edge to edge instead of overlapping. We did not have the money to have a new roof put on so I paid to do repairs to stop the leaks. A few months later there was a leak in a different area and Marcos showed up and took care of that. Then when we were able to afford the completely new roof we called them back. They showed up and started from scratch stripping the roof taking out areas that had rotted wood, and replacing them, and put on a whole new roof. While they were working Marcos showed me picture of our chimney that had several cracks and holes. He then fixed the chimney and coated it with a waterproof sealant, and did not charge us extra. After the roof was complete his crew returned and spent almost two hours vacuuming our attic. I highly recommend Strong Hammer and Marcos and his crew. This was the best contracting experience I have ever had.

We purchased their Roof Tune up package in order to prepare our roof for the upcoming winter. They were very prompt in contacting us to schedule their staff to come out. Marcos came at the exact time they scheduled him for and from what we can tell did a good job fixing the minor issues we had with our roof. Provided some good feedback on the lifespan of our roof and hope to use them in the future to replace the roof in the spring, Initial impressions were very good and would recommend them to be used by others.

They showed up on time and were courteous and professional. After the gutters were cleaned, they picked up the leaves and debris around the house and left it very neat. Overall great job and I would definitely hire them again.

Went well, they came on time and did a good job. It took a while to get the job scheduled since they weren't initially responsive, but then they got it together. The two men who came were very nice and professional about getting the work done. After they cleaned the gutters they recommended power washing the roof but that's never a good idea because it greatly reduces the life of the shingles. We didn't take them up on that.

He went above and beyond the scope we paid for. He was very thorough, professional, took good amount of time and refused tip even i insisted several times! I am very much impressed. Very high quality work. I would recommend him any day.

They started work immediately upon arrival and knocked on my door to let me know they were there to clean the gutters. They asked permission to have access to water and I gave them a hose to make their job easier. The two of them make short work of the job and they bagged all of what they collected and took it with them and they cleaned up after themselves. Some gutter dirt they were collecting got on my siding and they washed it off. They did this every where this happened because I noticed that several areas on my siding was wet. It was them cleaning up after themselves. I've never had a service that did this before and I'm very impressed and will be using them for now on to clean my gutters. They very pleasant and I would highly recommend them But remember I had a deal from Angie's List for the price I got and it may be higher if it's not an Angie's List deal price.

Wonderful! The guys were skilled, professional, and worked incredibly hard including over a weekend. I am very impressed. I would definitely hire Strong Hammer again and highly recommend this company to anyone in need of a roofer. I am totally 100% pleased with the work that was done.

arrived on time and cleaned my house gutters. They also repaired 2 areas with silicone caulk - would definately use them again!

I sent you folks an email today with photos of the problem areas. Contractor came as promised and was in and out in 20 minutes, assuring that all was done. Today,7/30, there was a brief but heavy rain shower, the first since 7/23, which tested their work. Water cascaded over the gutter in the rear of the house, as well as between the gutter and the roof ,flooding the basement entryway. Past heavy rains have caused basement flooding because of this. Fortunately, the rain stopped before the water got too high. It was this problem that prompted me to call for services in the first place. I cannot get up on the roof to inspect things my self. Thus I cannot determine if the cause is a gutter / downspout clog, of whether there is a separation between the gutter and the roof itself. It would have been helpful if the workmen had observed and mentioned this. If the latter matter is the case, I will probably need to have the gutter repaired. Would really appreciate some assistance in this matter. Thanks Ernest P. Smith
