It went really well. After scheduling the appointment, I received a confirmation call. He arrived on time and worked diligently. I was happy with the service. He even gave some suggestions.

The guy was running late, but I received a phonecall to tell me he was stuck in traffic and would be at the house within 20 minutes: the lady on the phone was polite, professional and friendly. When he arrived, he was apologetic and courteous, asking me to point out any trouble spots, and then got right on with the job. I had to leave for work after about 10 minutes, so I don't know how long the job took, but was very pleased with the service and will definitely use this company again in the future.

Great experience. Just as needed, cleaned gutters of small-medium sized house. The back roof gutter had been overflowing and was really clogged up along the entire roofline. Had not been cleaned since we moved in 3 years ago. Marcos and helper arrived on time and got to work in a professional and pleasant manner. Also, we had found some shingles in the back yard and they inspected the roof - and happily for me reported the shingles / roof was in good shape. This visual inspection came with the deal - just what I needed and great "Big Deal" price.

They did a good job. The Big Deal drew us in, but we got a good deal on good service. We would consider using them again in the future for annual gutter cleaning.

I had a leak in my living room due to some damage in my roof, I called a couple of companies I found on Angie's list but nobody had the time to come see the job right away, when I called Marcos and told him the problem I was having he made sure to come on the same day. He was very polite, knowledgeable the most important he gave me a very good quote. He accomodated our job in his schedule within a couple of days since there was rain in the forecast. The repair looks seamless and the clean up was excellent. It was trully a pleasure to work with Marcos, no doubt I will use his services again whenever I need it.

Contractor was supposed to come on October 23 to clean gutters and inspect gutter and roof. It was raining and he cancelled. He could not schedule another appointment for many weeks so I didn't want to wait that long since I know I have some sort of gutter problem. Therefore, I want a refund.

With the urgency of my needs, and the scheduling issues I decided to cancel the deal.

Service went great! From the prompt booking to showing up exactly on time and to the service he was professional, courteous, and a pleasure to work with. When we need further gutter and roofing work in the future we will definitely call Strong Hammer! Would recommend them.

The contractor performed two separate jobs. The first one was the roof on my sunroom. I explained that I didn't have the money to do a complete tear down and he examined the situation and was able to come up with a good solution to solve my current issues and allow me more time to plan my roof replacement. He did an excellent job. He also took before and after pictures for my records. The second job was a small portion of my roof over the top floor. A portion of it is flat. He identified the problem and again came up with a solution. He did an excellent job, on time and on budget. He could have tried to sell me a whole roof replacement, I know I need it soon, but said I still had a few more years before it's a complete must. He guarantees his work. Will use him in the future and highly recommend him. He was courtesy and professional from start to finish.

As always I call Strong Hammer to deal with a Epdm flat roof for me. I had a very serious leak ,I tried to fix twice but I couldn't , when Marcos came he explained what happening and he stripped the flat and installed a new epdm membrane for me. the work was great and clean the leak stopped, i'm very happy with my new roof.

It went smoothly, they performed the job in a timely matter. they were VERY CLEAN, which is a big deal for me. also they told it would be done by a certain date and it was actually done by that date.

Marcos of strong hammer has done a lot of jobs for me since 2009.I could write a hundred of reviews here of them . I'm really happy for the last gutter replacement. They replaced my old aluminum gutters and fascia board . I like the way they work because they take pictures before and after each job, They always came on time and Marcos always gives me a fair price. I'm also an contractor and have been in business for over 15 years in Westchester area. When I have roofing or gutters to do , Marcos is the name I call.

Marcos Miranda of Strong Hammer is superb! When the local building permit inspector drops by unexpectedly, it could make some people nervous. Not when Marcos Miranda is on the job. Marcos was recently replacing the snow and ice shield under my Spanish tile roof when the inspector came by. After observing Marcos’s work for some time, the inspector informed me that Marcos was meeting and exceeding building standards. The inspector then asked for Marcos’s business card so that Marcos could give the inspector an estimate for his mother’s house. Now that’s an endorsement! I have thoroughly enjoyed having Marcos work on numerous projects at my house over the last 5 years. He has installed custom made bathroom vents and copper gutters and replaced chimney flashing, Spanish roof tiles and snow and ice shields. I am a difficult person to please—some would say I am too demanding. I get up on the roof or check out the work with my binoculars! However, working with Marcos is such a pleasure because he has such attention to detail and is so honest and professional. His prices are more than fair, workmanship is of the highest quality, and he and his team are so polite, trustworthy and hardworking. I have tried other roofers in the past who overcharged me for substandard work. In contrast, Marcos is completely reliable and just the most decent man you will ever meet.
