From my first phone call to Chimney Magic, everything went perfectly. My calls were always returned immediately, appointments were made to accommodate my time, Mike always showed up on time, and his work was professional and perfect. He checked our chimney, the flue, the masonry....fixed any issues and installed the insert. My husband and I are thrilled with their service and would recommend Chimney Magic to anyone without hesitation. We are enjoying every possible moment in front of our new fireplace.

Excellent! From the time I booked the appointment (reception) to the day of service. The staff booking the appointment was friendly, polite and professional. Tommy (the serviceman) was on time, explained everything in detail from the minute he arrived until he finished his work. Very friendly, professional and knowledgeable in his work. I had done a lot of research before calling this company and all the good reviews are the reason why I chose this company. I will definitely be calling them again and refer to all family/ friends.

The day of our chimney sweep, As this is our first home, Chris took his time explaining what he was doing, what to look out for and each part of our chimney. They are very professional and punctual. I needed them to repair crack in the chimney and the office provided great customer service by scheduling a last minute appt. The day of appt. they arrived early and completed job within an hour and a half. I will definitely have them return to complete lining of chimney. Great service always supersedes pricing.

I hired this company to do a safety inspection after purchasing a new home. Two people from Fred's came out and did the inspection and informed me that the chimney was in good shape, completely fine and ready to use. I tried lighting two fires once the weather got cold out and my home filled with smoke. I called back to ask that they return and double check their work. On the second visit I was informed that upwards of $1000 in repairs was needed, including a spray liner to fix drafts that were "causing the smoke blowback." I hired a second company for a second opinion and was told the problem is that there was an improperly installed liner in the chimney and this was causing the blowback. The second company solved my problem. I feel that Fred's technicians were dishonest and provided me unsafe advice that could have been harmful to me and my family. I will never consider them again for any job.
