"Thank you, Cynthia. Glad we were able to help!"
"Hello Katherine, since this was a lengthy post I decided to tackle each topic one by one and hopefully come to an understanding. I just want to start off by saying we have never and will never use subcontractors in any Greg Home Improvement remodeling job except for the ones that are needed (electric & plumbing). In regards to leaving the door unlocked, I completely understand the concern and when it was brought to my attention that this happened, I relayed the message to my crew immediately. In terms of the ?longer times and 4x the cost? by us having to use electricians and plumbers, we have to work in line with their schedule. Work cannot be continued on our end until the plumbers and electricians are done. There was also more of a delay due to special orders, holidays and your vacation time. In response to the stained rugs, we always cover up any floors with plastic and drop cloths. At the time we were working with chalk-line and unfortunately, the dust seeped through and stained the rug. It was stated that it would be fixed by us and it was and I specifically recall you being especially surprised and pleased with the result! ?Wall and ceiling scrapes,? since this was an area where there was heavy foot traffic for several months, accidental bumps on walls and ceilings are not always 100% avoidable. After the concern was brought to our attention we said we would take care of the situation by spackling, sanding and painting the area at no extra cost to you. When the concern of the tub not being secured to the floor was brought to our attention, the job was not completely done so that would be the reasoning for that, not due to negligence on our part. In terms of the electrical outlets, that is something that the electricians should have taken care of and put back. However I do take responsibility for that because at the end of the day, I should have doubled checked and made sure that their job was done the right way and for that I apologize. With regard to the ?medicine cabinet being installed upside down,? we had asked you how you wanted the door to open PRIOR to installation. You asked for our professional opinion and it was recommended that the side medicine cabinet should open away from the front mirror and for that to happen it would have to be installed the way it was to prevent the cabinet door from possibly hitting the mirror and causing damage. In the matter of ?interim invoices and explanations for prices in the final invoice then $1500 with no details,? as I explained to you then the issue of ?$1500? was because whoever the electrician was before I took this job, drilled the holes for the wires way too close to the sheetrock therefore there was no way for me to know that when I drilled a screw in there, that it would hit a wire. Since there was extra work to be done having the electricians come once more and extra labor from me, there was an additional $1,425.38 that was added DETAILED AND WRITTEN in the proposal dated 3/1/2020. In the end, the last payment was received without the amended price of $1,425.38. I then sent you a text message regarding it a couple days later to reiterate the price that was already provided to you. I always detail and itemize my invoices, if you wanted a more SPECIFICALLY itemized invoice all you needed to do was ask and I would have happily complied! I have many jobs going on at one time, and always try my best to communicate and provide the best customer service I can to my clients! I am so sorry if that was not your experience but I just wanted to clarify and thank you for choosing us to remodel your bathroom, glad you enjoy it."
"We are extremely sorry to hear that you were so unreleased with our work. As you can see from our other customers, that is not their experience and it is most definitely not our way of treating our customers. As you will note, the first time you called to inform me about what was happening, I arrived to rectify the situation the very next day and was very clear on the steps that needed to be taken in order to fix the leak and repair the ceiling. As for the waterproofing we did not cut corners because we have never done that, we have not had any issues up to this point. As for the debris I took everything the day before and I was not informed by my worker that there were a couple pieces of Sheetrock left. As for the paint dripping even though my worker should not have left it that way in the first place you could have stopped him and told him to correct it before he left. In your negative review, you mentioned only the negative things that you experienced but never mentioned the positive ones, such as my customer service when I answered your call the first time then being at your house the next morning addressing the situation. I understand that when people are frustrated with a situation like you have experienced they just talk about the bad and not the good. I don't think it is fair that you wrote a bad review to put a permanent mark on my reputation that was earned with dedication and respect to every customer. Please Mr. Greg reconsider your decision of posting that review that it will hurt my reputation, we did everything in our power to please you as we end up removing the entire ceiling plus the original one that was not affected. I never once gave you no for an answer. Also I do not know why you said that you paid for the paint at Home Depot when it was I who paid for it, but nevertheless I cannot change the past but I can only make a better path for the future. I am truly sorry for the troubles that you have gone through with Greg Home Improvement. If you do ever choose to call us again, I can personally guarantee you will not be disappointed again. I hope to hear from you soon. Thank you, Greg Estevez Greg Home Improvement Inc."
