Found and repaired a leak in my air intake manifold. I had been going to a local mechanic, chosen by my husband, for more than 30 years of living in this neighborhood. Each time I went to THAT person, repairs, if any, were temporary. After 7-10 days, the light came back on. In addition, too coincidentally, something else always went wrong.  Finally, an old friend recommended Johnny C's. No one else will ever work  on a car of mine. The place is immaculate and orderly. You get a prompt reply to your calls, and a quick appointment. He was totally honest about what he found, and DIDN'T find.  At the end of the job, the final cost was LESS than the amount quoted! It didn't need as much work as he thought it might. He gives an honest and accurate appraisal of what's wrong. Don't know how much the job SHOULD have gone for; but, it was worth every cent, when you consider I went back over and over again with the same problem to other questionnable mechanics for as much as $800.00 at a time, with poor/no results. Thank God he's younger than I am! I don't want to outlive him !!!
