Sal and his crew did an excellent job for the price that they quoted me. They work very cleanly, are experts in their trade and a pleasure to deal with. I wouldn't hesitate to hire them again if I needed a plumber.

It was quite a build up. They used a chemical roto-rooter and ran it 75ft from the kitchen to the basement out the main sewer pipe. They were very good. They were very clean, effective and prompt. They were really nice people to work with.

Called Manzo Plumbing after getting what I felt was an unreasonable estimate by my heating company who also has a plumbing division. They were at my house a couple of hours later and assessed the problem. They explained what had to be done and gave me an estimate. They were $700 less than my other company. Mike and his assistant Mike got to work right away and solved the problem. They were great, professional and very friendly. They charge $49.95 for an estimate and waive that if you do the repair. They are now my new plumbing company and if I have any plumbing problems in the future they will be the first call.

The Repairman arrived promptly, put plastic over his shoes and followed me to the first toilet that needed repairs. When he told me the price I almost fainted. After seeing the second toilet the price to fix that toilet was twice the first one. OMG. I was about to say no thanks when he informed me that the cost to just come into the house was the price to fix the second toilet. I was between a rock and a hard space. I think that I should have been told about the 'entrance fee' when I made the appointment. I agreed to the repairs which were done professionally and I did get a Senior discount. I also received a one year guarantee. So except for the price I was satisfied with the job.

Professional, honest, and dependable the work was done in a timely matter.

All went well. I was fortunate to have Joe return for this additional work. He was great and recommend him. He is just 1 of a number of exemplary professional plumber from Sal Manzo. Sal is professional and unquestionably knows his stuff. Besides, he's a wonderful person. Interacted with about 6 members of his staff from start to finish and each person was polite, respectful, and prompt. It was quite and involved job - lots of pipes moved, lots of big, heavy equipment moved in and out of the house. Guys were very clean and the finished product looks great. Fair prices and great service. Highly recommended.

They are the worst, if there's a -D I'd give it to him. It was a disaster. We ended up having to call another plumbing company to come and fix what they did. The end result was we didn't pay him the a/c they say was gonna charge originally was gonna be about $400 or something rather and the put a part in, it didn't work and I complained and they said well if you really want we'll put your old parts back and we wont charge you, I said then fine do that because what you did was a disaster.

Sal and his staff did a fabulous job with the conversion of our oil hot water system to an energy efficient Buderus system. We have an older home and it required a number of adjustments to the normal installation. Sal and his staff made the necessary adjustments both during and after the installation in a timely and efficient fashion. Sal was always accessible to answer any questions that I had both during and after the completion of the project. The contractors he recommended to remove our oil tank and line the chimney were also excellent. I would absolutely recommend Sal and will continue to use his company for periodic system maintenance.

I was informed before the worker got there by phone that he was on his way. He arrived at the time period set. He was pleasant, knowledgeable, and gave great advice regarding the unit. He was done in a timely period.

We decided not to call them back since they wanted to rip out the wall and try again charging us an additional $697. At that point we were convinced they did not know what they were doing. We called another plumber who said he would replace the Gromix cartridge. When he looked at the removed cartridges he said they had been damaged when they were installed and that is what was causing the leak. He ordered new cartridges and installed them. The shower has not leaked since. He charged us $100. Less.

I called Sal Manzo Plumbing who I had used 4 or more times in the past to report that no heat was coming from radiators even though boiler seemed to be functioning. Within an hour Mike was at my home, immediately diagnosed the problem and fixed the boiler with a new boiler damper so that we had heat in the house. At present the snow blizzard of 1/23/2016 is covering the streets of Merrick but my family is warm & comfortable thanks to the professionalism of Mike of Sal Manzo Plumbing. Thanks again Mike!!!

First of all, this was a brand new toilet that was installed within the last five years as part of a new bathroom install. Second, the only problem was a slow leak in tank. Every now and then, we'd hear the tank refill to replace the "lost" water. Third, he recommended a FULL toilet replacement!!! WTH?!? For a leaking seal??? I think the service rep was taking advantage of my wife. I wish I was home for it and would have done it myself but don't have the time. He next recommended a full replacement of all interior parts. Finally he recommended a "partial" repair. This strikes me as one of those, "Let's take advantage of a woman and hope she doesn't know any better," scenarios that you hear about from auto mechanics and other services. The rep also "argued" that the toilet was older than my wife indicated. He also suggested replacing pipes... Very disappointing. Over $200 to replace what was essentially a slow leak in the tank.

I called the plumbing company and after I explained how the hot water was just running and I had to shut off the main water line into the house to stop the flow, they rescheduled a few other jobs and came over as quickly as the could. (Originally they gave me an afternoon appointment and then called me back about 1/2 hour later with a change in schedule to get me looked at as soon as possible). The team came on time and had me all squared aware in a short time. Thanks team!

From the estimate which was spot on to the work performed, amazing! Very skilled plumbers who finished a major job in half the day. They had to cut yards of concrete in the crawlspace to access the pipe. They replaced it and then patched the trench with concrete. All the while, they were so neat with their tarps and booties! When finished with the job, my house was as clean as before they came. Thank you. I will recommend them over and over again and use them for future jobs!

..After several estimates, our decision was to hire Sal Manzo. He is professional, along with knowledgeable. (Not to mention lots of patience..) His advise and recommendations were much appreciated and warranted. We replaced a 35 year old Repco gas boiler with Buderus. We also replaced our 19 year old Sears water heater with a 12 year AO Smith ...We got two new themostats as well. Mary , his office manager, filed all necessary permits, warranties, and rebates. Having a natural gas house, its a comfort to know that all the equipment installed and changes made are to Town of Hempstead's code and will be inspected. Sal's plumbers , Kurt and Donald were prompt, neat and professional as well... They replaced cooper piping, made necessary changes and made sure we were up and running properly... They even installed a portable water heater so we would have temporary hot water to accommodate us for the night.. Sal Manzo comes with lots to offer....His credentials , fair pricing and honesty says it all. So happy we did our homework...We get an A plus.........Right decision, . Will recommend and use Sal Manzo for many years to come.....Thanks for a job well done!

This company saved me from disaster! All of a sudden I was standing in a small lake in front of my sink. I couldn't find the leak, but the water just kept coming. I quickly turned off the water main in my house, went to Angie's List and called Sal Manzo Plumbing because I live in a neighboring town. The office was great! They said the plumbers are on a job, but as soon as they finish they will come to my house. And they did! Mike diagnosed the problem as a faulty drain system, and sure enough, when he removed the old pipes, there was a big hole on the bottom where the pipe had scraped against the floor of the cabinet for many years and worn thin. When he installed the new system, he made sure the curved pipe did not rest on the floor. The whole job only took about an hour, and now my kitchen cabinet and floor are bone dry. He did a great job, and has a great sense of humor, too! I highly recommend them!

Sal Manzo is the CEO and his company did a very good job. I had work done by them about a month and a half ago. I had a leak underneath the house and what they call the flat part of the house, there's no basement there in that part of the house. It's just the concrete and there was water pipes in there and it was leaking for a long time. The water was out of this world and they came and they found the leak in a matter of minutes and fixed that. They managed to dig a hole and they fixed it. He actually used his hand to see, he put his hand on the floor to see and said, "This is where it is." and he dug a hole and that's where the leak was and it shut up like a cool faithful. I still have some plumbing problems that I want done. I'll be calling them back but I don't know when. The service was close to $1,000 but there were actually some things he did besides digging the hole and they had to use a jack hammer to cut the concrete and everything like that. They changed the pipes and there were other things that they had to adjust, it was a big job. It was well worth it. They were here the first time I called them. They didn't waste any time getting here. They were very good, they came on time. I got other couple of pricing and they were about the same but then I trusted them more and they did the job quickly and efficiently and it's fixed. I would sure use them again in the future.

I called them up after seeing them listed in the Angie's List publication. He said that he would come over in the morning. I told him I had to be out of the home in the afternoon, he adjusted the schedule and put me first on the list. They told me they would call before they came. I received a call from Mary letting me know the service technician was on their way. There are two technicians who showed up at my door. They used their shoe protectors, I was amazed! They took a look underneath my sink. They took the time to show me what the issue was before they started the repair. They also diagnosed a problem that I have that I didn't even realize was connected to this issue. He took care of that issue, then they continued to repair the issue that I had originally called about. They went out to their truck and got a drop cloth. They covered my whole kitchen floor, which is brand new. It looked like I was watching a surgery. They walked me through each step of the repair. They showed me the replacement parts. It took them less than an hour. They cleaned everything up, it was like they weren't even here. They gave me the bill, I told him I was an Angie's List member and he took $20 off the cost! I can't tell you how happy I am with this whole service! I am absolutely thrilled! I would highly recommend them to any one!!

Very friendly and professional but Definetly overpriced.

Sal took care of all the permits and scheduling for the liner and oil tank removal. Gary and Joe were the primary plumbers and they were very professional. They removed my old system and installed an electric water heater for on the first day so we could still shower. They found two gas leaks and took care of them, one of which was in a very difficult to reach crawl space. Tracking the leaks down mean cutting in the dry wall basement ceiling. After they fixed the leaks they cleaned up the dust left from cutting the holes. They always made sure to cover the hardwood floors on their way in and out of the basement. Gary and Joe were very respectful to make sure they were on time and even waited outside when they came early as to let us get ready in the morning. Sal stopped by to make sure everything was going well and was very concerned with my CO2 detectors being placed properly. After the install was complete Gary showed me how to bleed the radiators and even left me his radiator key. I couldn't be happier with the service Sal provided and his follow up after. He prices was good and his office was incredibly friendly and responsive. 5 stars all around.

We initially chose this company because the other 3 plumbing companies we called didn't pick up the phone. We were given a time window of 3-5pm but Mike arrived a little over 3pm which was a pleasant surprise. He assessed the situation and was able to remove the old spout and replace it with a new one on his van. He was neat (he had his booties) and quick. He made small talk with us and we would be more than comfortable using his company again. Thank you for your prompt response and professionalism!

They did not charge us for an emergency because we had used them before. We are very satisfied with the work. He was clean and went over everything with my mom. He gave us discounts. He was a gentleman and took care of us very well. Work was performed by Joseph.
