We are located in West Henrietta, NY and provide high quality technical service and support to business and residential clients in the Monroe County area. We install, maintain and repair networks, servers, business workstations, and home PCs including desktops, laptops, netbooks, tablets and smartphones.

Before I found KNR Computer Service on Angie's List a year or so ago, I was using an independent computer service about 25 miles from my house. I love that Ron comes right to my house AND I sit with him while he does the work and answers my questions and explains everything he is doing.  Ron is punctual, friendly, professional, patient and well worth the $90 per hour.  I can make an appointment on the KNR website and receive an email confirmation.  He has cleaned up both of my kids' laptops. I highly recommend KNR Computer Services!!!

I have been using KNR Computer Services for many years now.. All of my service calls have always been answered in a timely manner.  Up front and honest if a problem can not be corrected. Very reasonably priced. Knowledgeable and friendly. Never comes with out a dog treat!!!

Overall experience was excellent.  Ron was very professional and explained what he was doing every step of the way in a language I could understand.  Although a bit pricey, he utilized every second he was here so not a minute was wasted.  I would highly recommend his service.

I originally scheduled a session with Ron in November.  Before he made the trip out to my location, he called ahead to get a better understanding of my problem.  He spent several minutes with me on the phone, and suggested that the problem with my desktop PC probably wasn't going to be resolved with a visit to my house.  (Instant credibility on his part.)  We decided that I would order a new PC, then schedule another appointment to have Ron set it up.
On the day of our second appointment, Ron called ahead to let me know that he was on the way.  He arrived for our appointment on time.  Ron was very professional, efficient, and made an effort to keep his time to a minimum.  He answered my questions and suggested several "best practices" to keep my new PC running at peak condition.
We highly recommend KNR Computer Service, and will definitely call Ron again when we need help with our home computers.

I have dealt with Ron on previous occasions and was always very pleased.   When I called for his service this time he was pretty booked and recommended  Mike.   Mike arrived EXACTLY on time and didn't waste any time getting right to work.  Because I am not very computer smart I asked him to go easy on me.   He was very patient  and explained in my terms what he was doing.  It is running a lot faster and I don't have any of those annoying pop-ups......I have recommended them in the past and certainly will in the future!!!.    Thanks Ron and Mike

I called KNR not realizing there is no 'store' and spoke directly with Ron. I then made an appointment for two days later. Ron arrived at our home a few minutes early and asked my daughter about her laptop issues. One hour later, Ron had tuned up the laptop, uninstalled unnecessary programs, installed several programs that are reliable and helpful and explained things to my daughter and me as he worked along. He kept notes of everything he did and I paid him his fee which I thought was fair. Within a couple hours, the invoice was in our email mailbox. I highly recommend Ron and KNR for computer repair and I will be making another appointment for my own laptop. Thank you, Angie's List and KNR!

I do not understand the technical details when KNR comes here to help me.  I will say, however, that we have used them multiple times in installing replacement pcs within our home along with new laptops.  I have had to have the hard drive replaced a couple of times now (DELL) and couldn't have been in better hands.  When Ron Walls leaves our home after a technical call, I am totally satisfied with the work he has done and the care he has given to my technical needs.  He NEVER leaves unless I totally understand what he has done to my pc (or my husband's)!  Ron will ALWAYS write on his invoice in DETAIL the work he has done and the answers to questions I may have had during the service call.  This is important since I am prone to forget those pesky technical details.  There is OUTSTANDING and PROMPT after-service treatment as well.  I have had to email KNR (Ron) on many occasions with questions re software or how to do something and have received same day, courteous and informative responses to help me with my concern - ALL FOR FREE!!!!! 
On a personal note, Ron Walls (and Mike in the past) are respectful of your time and your home.  Ron is prompt, courteous and extremely professional.  He has excellent people skills and certainly knows how to communicate the technical details in a way that is understood by his clients!  No question is too small or unimportant for him to answer with courtesy and professionalism!!  I have NEVER felt that he was "dawdling" on the job in order to make the service call longer.  My husband and I both would feel totally relaxed about leaving Ron to fix our computers and leaving our home if needed while he was doing so! 
Frankly, I would NEVER use another firm to help us when we get issues or troubles with our computers.  Their fees are reasonable; their professionalism and technical skills are superlative; and their courtesy towards clients is unmatched by others that have been here over the years.

After a thorough cleaning and removal of malware, Mike could not get the internet to work.  So, on a Saturday, he took it home to run more diagnostics on it.  He promised he would bring it back the next afternoon...Father's Day!  He called to let us know what he was able to do and arrived right on time again.  He was able to reignite our internet reception from a router by installing a larger antenna. 


Mike was very easy to talk with.  He used computer language I could easily understand.  He even helped my husband with a tablet snag!  We invited him to stay for our Dad's Day picnic but he was on his way within 30 minutes!


Mike encouraged us to call with any other problems, free of charge.  They can even fix some problems without visiting.  All around, it was a great experience and our computer is working as it should!!!

Ron again proved that his company is awesome! He did an excellent  job in cleaning out the infection, applying proper programs to protect our computers. He was knowledge and is also a great teacher, very time we had Ron come out he teaches us so many things about proper computer safety operations.

Ron was punctual, professional, curteous, efficient, and very knowledgeable person. My computer was completely restored and then protected against a repeat of this type of a failure. Computer performance was significantly improved. My knowledge of computers  was improved. Ron clearly and thoroughly explained the cause of the issue and the process of recovery while going through the processes. I really appreciated that. It gave the confidence and satisfaction that  the problem was indeed fixed and now preventable. I was also appreciated the insight and recommendations for software, hardware, and security. I would not hesitate to recommend KNR to family and friends.

I have used KNR 3 times during the past 2 1/2 years and have always found their service professional, thorough and timely.  Making appointments online is easy with a quick email confirmation.  The fees are reasonable and a value giving the speed and level of service.  KNR is always ready to teach me more about the computer without making me feel incompetent with my questions or lack of knowledge.

The representative that came to my house from KNR Computer services was very knowledgeable. He was very helpful and did exactly what I needed him to do. I didn't pay anything over what I paid for the big deal. The price for what I got was reasonable and the quality was very good. He was on time for his appointment and very professional.
