They were very good. I had no problems with any of the people. The owner is really nice.

Excellent overall. In both instances, we dealt directly with the owner Gordon Millard. He showed up everyday to ensure everything was going well. The company's service is fantastic! As an example, about 7 years after the kitchen job was done, we had an issue with a broken cabinet door. I contacted Gordon, and he personally came one evening within a week, to install a new one-no charge.

Gordon was pleasant to deal with, always called back promptly when we had questions. Paul was the carpenter who worked on our job and he was the best. Very punctual, polite and neat. Very happy with all facets of the kitchen install.

First, let me say that my experience with Gamco was from 6 years ago, so things might have changed. In the recent economic climate, I am not sure my comments on pricing are still accurate (as you will read below). I am positive that what would NOT change is Gamco's and owner Gordon's integrity and willingness to make sure that the customer is happy with the end result. I have an example of that as well, as you will read. I referenced pricing, so I will address that quickly (again, my experience is from 6 years back, so that may have changed). Gamco is not the cheapest. As a matter of fact, they may be closer to the top. I would suggest you get some addtional quotes if that is your primary concern. We used Gamco because they came extremely well recommended, and from the moment we contacted them, they spent more time with us and showed a willingness to invest even more, and that was before we signed a contract for the work. That did not change after the contract was signed. They charge more because they give you more. You need to consider that in your final selection. From the original meeting they were on time and each time thereafter. Gordon is personable, knowledgeable and willing to invest a lot of time and effort in pre-planning, often coming back for multiple visits to be sure that we were getting what we wanted out of our project. He visited frequently while the job was in progress and was always available as needed. He was definitely highly involved and always knew what was going on, never having the "check with the guys" and get back to me. He also handled every meeting with the tradespeople he brought in, but never minded if we spoke with them to ask questions, so it was a good mix. The garage extension looks great, and overall we were very happy. I mentioned "integrity" above and will address that here as well. Fast forward 6 years. We discovered that a portion of the work that Gamco did was not as expected. This was NOT due to Gamco's fault; the architect didn't spec out something that was requested in the proper manner, so Gamco followed the plans that we all approved (not knowing, of course, that there was an issue). We alerted Gordon and he took immediate action to rectify the situation. So think about being confident that you could contact your builder in the future, let them know something needed attention, and have it properly addressed. Again, in the final selection process, integrity and company longevity has to factor into your decision, and I have a lot of respect for Gordon and Gamco.

They quoted me about $9500. It was higher than what another company was offering. They were going to use a different kind of plastic wrap with channels in it, which seemed sturdier and heavier, but I still didn’t want to spend that kind of money. I am having a hard time comparing the quality of the vinyl. I am also learning that there are different thicknesses and grades; so I am sure that they would have done a great job. They were fine. They were very nice and the person who came took a lot of time with me. He asked me a lot of questions of what I wanted and made recommendations.

The overall project went very well. There were a few small nits (when aren't there) but Gordon (President/Owner of GAMCO) was very responsive and took care of everything to our satisfaction. His contractors were respectful of our home which is important - since these people are in and out of your home all day throughout the entire time of the project. If I were to do another project, Gordon and GAMCO would be the first and only company I would contact

The representative that came out seemed a little condescending to me and my mom. He didn't seem very knowledgeable about the product that he was selling. He gave me a quote that I thought was excessive so I tried to negotiate a price and he said he would get back to me and he never did. My experience was fine with the office staff. They were prompt in calling me back and also professional and courteous.

It is going fine. They gave us a quote. I don't have any dislikes. I like the fact that they came out and did their quote ( inaudible 1:29:3). And they pretty much laid out exactly what they are going to do. And then gave us a quote that we could work with. They did the quote for free. The overall experience for the quote process was excellent. Their responsiveness is great.

They did everything that they said they were going to do and came in when they said they were going to come. They were very timely, organised and clean. I would recommend them to others. My overall experience with them was excellent.

Received estimate from Bob and when I made decision to go ahead with the work with GAMCO after getting some other estimates, he indicated that it would be approximately three weeks before the work would start. Received a phone call several days before the start of the job that the material was in and they would start on the particular day. They did front siding on my house and the crew was great. The crew was professional and personable. The job was completed in approximately three days to my full satisfaction. Definitely would use them in the future and glad that I chose them at this time.

Very good workmanship. Clean. Work was completed in good time. The only negatives-- I had to shop around to choose tile and fixtures. Also, I any unusual idea was discouraged. I wanted a larger than standard tub. That idea was discouraged.

My wife and I were so happy we hired Gamco to install our new siding. It was our first big renovation and were a little hesitant at first but after the renovation was finished we knew we picked the right company. From the beginning everything went very smooth Bob the estimator/owner was very helpful and is very experienced. Carmin and his partner (the installers) were awesome Carmin is so down to earth and professional. We hope to use them again for future renovations. Thanks again Gamco!

They did a good job. The house looked excellent. The people who did the job were very personable. I would recommend them to anyone having siding done.

The job went flawlessly from start to finish! Bob Millard came by and gave us an estimate and showed us some of the different things that Gamco does that nobody else does. He was very professional, thorough and knowledgable about the job and also personable. The house was stripped and wrapped in one day. The siding job progressed over the next several days. Each day everything was cleaned up at the end of the day. Ron and Lenny do excellent work with siding and trim. They are both excellent craftsman with siding and trim installation. One thing that really impressed me, was the way that they side up to a window. They have their own way of bending trim coil around the window frame which eliminates the use of J-channel against the window frame. This accomplishes two things #1 it eliminates the seam between the window frame and the J-channel thereby eliminating a water entry point and #2 it creates a much neater finished look around the windows.They also use snap on caps on the tops and bottoms of the corner posts, nobody else who gave me an estimate had these. I would highly recommend this company to anybody looking to get their house sided. They did an excellent job at a reasonable price.I would definitely use them again for future home improvements. I would call them for another quote if I needed to.

The quote was for $25000 and they were very good. They were very professional and very responsive. I had no problems with them but we just wound up picking up on another project instead of the master bathroom. I would consider using them again. I never got a competitive bid on the project because we wound up doing the rest of the house and kitchen instead of the bathroom.

The initial consultation with the owner was prompt, very informative and involved NO Sales pressure and No upfront money. Because of this company's reputation on Angies List and the recommendation of my friend, I did not shop the project...so, I'm not certain if the price was reasonable or competitive. The project started on time, the crews were prompt, polite and attentive to details. I would recommend this company.

They were excellent, we'd definitely use them again. The efficiency, the price and the work was done in a timely manner. Everything they said they would do they did. The were very professional and came to our house to talk about our needs and the things we would need to do, etc. For what they did it was definitely.

. They gutted my kitchen, installed cabinets, redid the electric, redid all the plumbing and installed countertops. They handled everything and got other contractors to do the plumbing, electric work whatever. They did the recess lighting. But they did not do the tile work. We had a separate contractor to do the tiles. I liked that they did everything. I had to talk to only one person and he handled the rest of them. They were very neat. They communicated well and let us know of any problem that came up. They did quality work and my kitchen looks great. Their price was the going rate. I would have to spend less but considering that they handled all the contractors and all that they were good. I would use them in the future.

Their estimate was for $26000 and it might have been slightly lower. I liked them a lot. They seemed honest but it is beyond me whether they were actually honest or not. Their representative who came out spent a lot of time explaining things to my husband. They explained the reasons as to why we could not do the other ways that the other service providers were telling us and also as to why it was not the best. I thought that they were very nice and there was nothing that they could improve up on in their estimate process. If I were to do the work then I would have hired them.

They were very good. They cleaned up everyday, and they were done fast.

It was $22,000 for one project and $6000 for the other. It was a little bit on the high side compared to some other estimates that we got. The owner, who came out, Gordon, was phenomenal. He was very friendly, very funny, and very professional. He is the only person we had contact with. He was very frank and very honest. They are very busy because they do good work.

I met with Gordon from GAMCO Company and he presented a very good plan for what we wanted to do. The price was a little bit higher than what we wanted so we decided to not to go with GAMCO Company. My inclination at that time was that it would be less expensive with other contractors but I realized after wards that GAMCO Company seemed to have given us a reasonable price. However, it was still a little bit more than what we were willing to spend. I thought that everyone at the whole company was very professional. They work they do seemed solid. We would definitely consider them for something in the future.

I thought that they were excellent. I would not hesitate to use them again and would call them first if I needed any work to be done in the house. I really, really liked them and thought that the quality of their work was excellent. The owner came while the job was being done to see how things were going. The men that work for him were very nice and helpful. They were all very patient if changed my mind about something or if I got upset with something and they were wonderful. If I called when I had a question or problem, they came back and justified it.

Bob came to do the estimate and was very friendly and professional. He gave me the best price out of all the others who had done estimates and included soffits, casings and shutters. Seemed very honest and not out to rip me off! Turned out he had done work on about half the homes on my block and knew most of my neighbors, so I got to see plenty of the company's work. The job was supposed to be done the following week but was then put off for a week or two (one time due to extreme heat and another because of some discrepencies with scheduling). When it was supposed to be done again, no one showed up so I called the office to see what was going on. Everyone was very courteous and apologized for the delay and said the job would be started the next day. That afternoon the guy doing the work came by the house to check everything out and was there the next morning. The job took about 3 days total including the first day which was taking down the old siding. It turned out great! Everything was done very well and we love our new siding. I would definitely recommend Gamco and plan to call them again when we are doing more projects in our house.
