They were punctual and friendly. He had the same crew for all our jobs and they were friendly and helpful. We joined the boiler service club which makes the calls cheaper, I'd recommend that. After a boiler repair to the circulator we need a follow up visit to have some air bubbles let out of it and they came quickly and no charge.

The two technicians were very knowledgeable and thoughtful in their problem solving approach. They kept me informed as they developed a sensible approach to correct the drain problem. The owner and his employees were very professional. They took the time to fully answer any questions I had before and during the installation process. We were - and are - impressed with their professionalism. Tom (owner) visited himself to scout the work. The service people he sent, including Josh, were extremely courteous and efficient. They explained a myriad of questions patiently, carefully and in a way that lay people would understand. In our experience, that is a rare and nice characteristic. Perhaps most impressive is that Josh and his colleague were neat to the point that we hardly knew they had visited. It was as if the two new furnaces, well, simply appeared in place of the original units. And we have been pleased with the performance so far of the new equipment.

It took 2 days to accomplish this job. Three men arrived at 8am each day and left at 5pm each day. They were hard workers and didn't even take a break except for lunch. Each day they started by putting down floor covers over the living room carpet to protect it from soot. They warned me when it would be extremely noisy so I could go outside, if need be, with my grand daughter. I couldn't believe they were able to break up that humongous WW2 boiler and bring it up very narrow stairs with limited access from the cellar. They took the time to tidy up the area each day. Tom's parting words were "I'll be back to recheck everything after a few days and make sure there are no problems with the job". The men were all very polite. I felt comfortable with them there in the house.

When he came by and realized how hot my house was, he immediately scheduled to do the work the very next day. He brought a helper and the two of them worked all day the next day. They did a nice job and cleaned up after themselves.

We moved into our house about a year ago. This 1957 house had all of the original HVAC equipment so we needed the whole deal replaced. The gentlemen at Wilson Brothers were curtious and respectful throughout the entire estimate and decision making process. Any and all questions were answered honestly, without speaking down to me and without a sales pitch attitude. Despite such a huge financial commitment, the folks at Wilson Brothers left us with the best feeling and confidence in their product, information and service. They were right on time this morning and within 7.5 hours replaced our entire HVAC system with a state of the art system, cleaned up thoroughly, explained and programed the thermostat and showed me each and every aspect of the work they did including answering my questions. I was assured that two copies of paperwork would arrive in the mail in the next two weeks with directions as to how to get the rebate from National Grid for the high efficency equipment we purchaced. I was left feeling confident that the job was done with a high degree of skill and was assured that this company stands firmly behind all of what they do. We will also be signing up for their reasonably priced preventative care contract.

All my experiences with them have been very good. I have been using them for five years. It is only recently that I found out that they are on Angie's List. They are professional and have reasonable price. They make an appointment with you and come when they say they going to be there. They look at whatever you have and get it done. They gave us what we wanted. I am totally satisfied with their service.

Technician arrived at time promised. He seemed competent and confident. He answered all my questions as I watched him perform the maintenance and gave me some tips on maintaining my furnace.

It started with the professionalism and kindness of Kim, who took my call. She explained how booked out they were, and after I explained my difficult schedule, she told me she'd look into it and get back to me. She did just that! Within half an hour she called me back and scheduled an appointment for the very next day :) Tom Wilson showed up at my door promptly the next morning. Two words come to mind: gentle integrity. The first thing he did was point out what last year's service company didn't do. He clearly explained some of his concerns (my system dates back to the late 80's) but with no pressure. Tom demonstrated expertise with his trade, and I found him to be totally trustworthy. I look forward to working with him again in the near future!

I wish I could rate their actual work but unfortunately no one even called me back. I called the regular number on their website which leads to a voicemail. This voicemail states, "If this is an emergency please contact 518-858-0518." I did that which lead to another voicemail (you would think this would lead to a person but it was just another voicemail.) I left a message stating I was having an emergency because my furnace stopped working and is making a horrendous noise and I need someone to come right away. It is now Tuesday and I have gotten no call back whatsoever. I'm glad they are doing enough business that they can just completely ignore potential clients. Why have an emergency contact number if you are just going to ignore the people who call it? If you are a busy company you could have at least called back to make an appointment for a later date. What kind of service is that?!

I had noticed a hum in the furnace, and Wilson came out to look at it in a very timely way. The technicians found that the pump on the furnace had to be replaced, replacing it during the visit. A short while later, I noticed that there was still a much softer hum on the furnace, and they returned immediately after finishing another call to check it out. The technician explained that it was normal to have some sound from an older furnace, which is what this is. He said that while he could replace one of the older components that might be causing the residual sound, he did not think that was necessary. I was very satisfied with the whole experience and definitely will use Wilson Brothers in the future.

Wilson Brothers came in a timely manner after we first called them. The employee was polite, professional and explained everything to us in terms we could understand. He left our old sump pump and suggested we hang on to it as a backup, which we wouldn't have thought to do.
