I would recommend them very highly. They were very professional and very helpful. I was very pleased with my choice. They moved us over two days. They put the stuff on the truck and it had to stay overnite and delivered the next day but because our close on the new house was delayed by two days they had to keep it for about three days on their truck and they never charged us extra. It was all very professional and I would definitely use them again.

Today, less than two weeks before the move, the company calls and tell us that they cannot accommodate us. Utterly unprofessional service and they totally fell down on the job. When Santiego called they blamed it on Allied truck availability and summer busy season. They were called in May for a July move and assured us they could handle the move then. We would have gotten another company had they told us that there could be a potential scheduling problem back in May. Try finding a replacement moving company for a NY to FL move two weeks before the move during the summer. I would never recommend Allied Van Lines or Santiego Moving again.
Description of Work: In May I scheduled a move for my mother from NY to FL for early July with Santiego Moving and Storage Worldwide Inc. in Valley Cottage NY. They are an Allied Van Lines affiliated carrier. We told the company the expected delivery dates required for my mothers move when we called for an estimate. They told us no problem on the moving dates. They pushed off the estimate and delayed for three weeks! We booked the move the day after the estimate with a pick-up of 7/2 and delivery in Florida of 7/5 to 7/11. Today, less than two weeks before the move, they call and tell us that they cannot accommodate us. Now we are scrambling for a replacement mover.

We looked back at your move details and show that we were able to handle your move. However, Allied transit time would now allow for delivery between the dates you were requesting. The 7th was the first legal date for delivery, and the 18th would have been the last day in the spread. After discussing this transit schedule with you, you informed our team that those dates would not work. At that time, your move was cancelled.
