I have a water softening system in my house that was installed prior to us moving in so I used a company for the maintenance of that. I only use them for the maintenance call. The water softening system was already installed when we moved to the house so it was only a maintenance call and installing a new filter on the actual system. They are called Long Island Water Services Inc. The price was a little expensive for replacing a filter. I don't have any experiences with any other companies of this caliber so it just seems very expensive to me in comparison with other companies they might not be but that just seemed expensive to me.

As soon as they installed this meter, my bills jumped from an average of $50 a month to $300!!! They say they can't explain it. It's just ridiculous. I am here by myself, there is no way I use this much water. And to go from $50 a month to $300 a month is crazy. I came to find that this company is owned by a Germany-based company!! No one seems to be able to answer my questions here.

I HAVE USED LONG ISLAND WATER COMPANY FOR YEARS AND THE NEED TO REPLACE MY WATER METER IS JUST A SIGN OF THE ATTENTION THEY GIVE TO MONITORING MY WATER SYSTEM.
