This is our 3rd visit to this clinic. The first was an emergency for our 14.5 yr old spayed female Westie. She had been bleeding heavily while urinating. To mitigate costly testing, Dr Mongil recommended treatment for a suspected urinary tract infection as all the symptoms pointed to this diagnosis. His assessment was correct and the symptoms resolved with a course of antibiotics. Our previous vet would have exploited our fear to order tests, x-rays, you name it. So Dr Mongil's response was a welcome perspective.
2 week's later, our 14 yr old neutered male Wheaten terrier developed a horrible limp with almost complete hip dysfunction. Walking was not an option. Again we saw Dr Mongil, and again the symptoms were in-line with a common problem. As before, he stated what "testing" we could do to know the problem unequivically. But, instead, he recommended 2 options based on a diagnosis of spinal stenosis: 1) pursue the previous vet's formulary, which managed Jake's low back issues, but which might present kidney/liver problems in the future or 2) try condroitin injections that offered anti-inflammatory benefits without the side-effects. We opted for 2) without incurring the costs of all the "testing" and, again, Dr Mongil's diagnosis/treatment seems to have hit the nail on the head.
Both dogs are doing very well and we couldn't be happier. We would recommend this clinic to everyone with dogs.

My dog got out of his harness when I was bringing him there to get fixed and instead of running into the street he ran to their front door. He sat there and waited for me. I thought he was going to run out into traffic and that was going to be bad. They were surprised too and said that he was not going to like them afterwards. He loves them and he loves them even after getting fixed. I don't know of a higher recommendation you can get for a vet than your dog wanting to go there. I've brought him back since then and he still runs to the door. They're awesome there and their prices are really good.
