They are very detailed and professional in the way they handle sales.I feel that they respect the estate and the family along with the items being sold. The displays make the items look great and they are knowledgable but research unusual items for pricing .They limit the number of people going into the house for the sale so buyers can appreciate the items and not cause damage to the home. There are a smaller company compared to others in the area for sales but I would highly recommend them to do any future sales in my family and have recomended them to others with good results.

After i sold my home, i was under a time deadline to sell all of 25 years worth of contents because i had to also have surgery.  I interviewed a number of estate sale company representatives and narrowed my list down to two companies.  The first company is very well known, and i had attended previous sales she had conducted.  I then interviewed Ian and Heidi, and i was struck by their knowledge and sincere interest in service.  Unfortunately, because the other company charged a few percentage points less and had an immediate opening (because they handle a number of sales in a weekend which should have been one tip off to me), i went with them.  WHAT A MISTAKE!!!
I called Sweet and Harding to inform them of my decision, and they could not have been more gracious.  I then proceeded to have the most stressful experience of the whole house sale with the first company.  There was next to no communication in the setup phase (i was just another one of many sales and was just expected to be available when convenient for them).  The owner and her son were very cold, and only one of 12 people who entered my home to set up for the sale spoke to me.  I actually even got YELLED AT by the son of the owner for something that was very unfair.  It was a terrible experience.  It took almost a week to get the check from her, even though it had been promised within 3 days.
Afterwards, i was left with a mess.  I thought of Ian and Heidi's kindness and interest in service and had the gall to call them back.  They came back to my home, assessed the situation and helped me with EVERYTHING.  I would like to encourage people not to make the same mistake i did and have Sweet and Harding answer your needs in this particularly stressful time.   They are WONDERFUL!!!
