Although he had to cancel the first scheduled appointment, Gabriel arrived on time the next day; polite, professional. He confirmed the diagnosis of the problem (a faulty mixing valve in the shower was affecting the water heat throughout the house) and replaced the valve--a Grohr product that was hard to find. Most of the labor charge (at about $90 per hour) was for time spent in his truck searching supply outlets for the part. But he found the part and the repair was completed within the day. We were satisfied.

Gabriel was very on top of the job, he came back when he said he would. He is one of the best handyman I have ever had work on my property! I highly recommend him!

Im conflicted as to how to review Gabriel. I called because one of my units had its cooking gas turned off by ConEdison. He said I needed an integrity test. He didnt give me the second lowest quote but he seemed very professional, educated, and nice over the phone. He asked me if he can send another plumber and due to time constraints, I agreed. However, the plumber he sent was rude and didnt want to even give his name or show any form of identification. When the test was completed. We were offered no paperwork or invoice for the job and were asked to pay cash or check. I made it clear that I would pay as long as we had an invoice. The worker left without payment. While the worker worked we continued to be on the phone with ConEd because it seemed to have been closed by the previous owner due to no use and not because of any issue. ConEd turned our gas back on a short time later while we continued to call on our end. (If it was due to Gabriel calling or us calling, it is unclear because ConEd gave us different information.) In the end, Gabriel seemed hostile when all we wanted was an invoice or report of the work done. He finally sent me a simple invoice up on quickbooks and I immediately paid through QuickPay. I advise him to improve his customer service and up his professionalism to provide his customers with invoices and documentation of services rendered (what if ConED asked me to provide proof of work?) as well as have his workers carry ID and introduce themselves. If he had done that, he would have gotten 5 stars.

He responded quickly, arrived within an hour, completed the work that was necessary, and even took on an additional project for me. Excellent work, neat, cleaned up behind himself, and I would definitely use him again. He cured three leaks and made arrangements to patch the drywall as well.

Gabriel reached out immediately to schedule an appointment and kept in touch when running a bit late, very much appreciated. He thoroughly assessed my plumbing situation one issue at a time to make sure I understood his logic. He found the source of the leak quickly and remedied the situation to my satisfaction. Very good to work with and exceptional communication, I would definitely use G&S again.

Garbriel was hard working, skilled and extremely pleasant. We had a pipe burst due to the cold and he knew exactly what to do. He showed up on time, worked hard to minimize the damage when cutting through our walls and ceiling and was an expert problem solver. The pipes were in a very difficult spot to reach and he worked doggedly to solve our problem. He stayed for 8 hours late into a Saturday night and returned first thing Sunday morning to ensure our elevated would be back as soon as possible. Highly recommend him.

I appreciated that Gabe was willing and able to coordinate the work with two tenants while I was out of the country. He needed to replace a part in a leaky toilet on one floor that was causing a leak in the floor below. The leak is gone and the work was completed within 6 hours of the first time we spoke. Very happy with the experience.
