Tarrytown Woodworks
About us
The furniture restoration and reproduction studio of Tarrytown Woodworks was established in 1985 to preserve the art of traditional woodworking and the integrity of valued pieces from all ages and origins. Over the past 30 plus years, Tarrytown Woodworks has restored literally thousands of pieces of furniture and carvings, from medieval to mid-century modern, from simple folk art to the work of renowned furniture designers. Pieces restored range from the refined and diverse work of the shakers, Gustav Stickley, and Tiffany Studios, to the Mid Century Modern work of Eames, George Nakashima, and Hans Wegner. Eric’s completed projects can be seen at historic properties such as Lyndhurst and Kikuit, in countless homes throughout Westchester County and the NY metropolitan area, and as far away as Alaska.
