Matt Inspected our roof, made some minor repairs and evaluated the general condition. He made suggestions as to how we might deal with those concerns. He was very pleasant and knowledgable. We are trying to decide our best route to address the problems and will definitely consider using Matt to do the job.

They did fine but I think it was misleading as to what it will cover.  They charged me extra and then I really didn?t know what the job covered.  According to him it was a bigger job that what the $99 covered.  He charged me I think $300 but actually he did only part of the entire job.  I will charged another $400 to complete all of my roof line and removing the ice.   

I really don't know if he was price hijacking or no because I don't really have anything to compare it to.

"Thanks for the review but I'm wondering why you gave me a C rating when you are satisfied with the work and we did a lot more then $99 of ice removal and I didn't charge any extra so I was expecting a better review"

He did not show up for the appointment and did not call.  It is hard to believe that a total lack of professionalism could have earned this provider the rating that he has on Angie's List.  It makes me question whether or not the reviews are real or fake?

"Hello I'm still trying to get in touch with you I called last week and got no answer machine it just kept ringing. I told you I would try to get there Friday but most likely I wouldn't be able to till that following Monday when I called to reschedule there was no answer or machine to leave a message.as you can tell from my other reviews witch are not fake by the way I never just ignore a customer and this review is not fair if you could please call me and set up an appointment I will give you a roof tune up for free just to settle all the confusion.I apologize for the misunderstanding"

Arrived on the date/time agreed upon.  Matt is a nice guy, and his workers were equally polite and friendly.  Early on we realized that the job may be a bit worse than originally thought, especially the garage roof.  This required an upward (naturally!) revision of the price.  What can you do.  However, I could see for myself the problems, so I agreed to the new cost.  Work went very well, and when the project was completed, they left the house, garage, driveway, and yard in good shape.  You could hardly tell they were here.  All in all, a very good experience, considering no one really wants to have a major roof replacement.

I like to do all communications through text messaging so I can have everything in writing, Matt had no issues with that at all.  I have a very odd schedule and he made himself completely available for me.  The roof was replaced, it looks great, now to see if it holds up.  (hahaha).

This is the third time that we have called Matt for services and we are absolutely thrilled with the results of every job.  The siding on either side of our chimney was ruined by two hard winters of ice.  The shingles and the board underneath were rotted.  Matt came out, and did a thorough inspection of the damage and recommended completely replacing the siding, plywood, insulation, etc, all of the way up to the roof line.  He came back the next day and started work.  He finished the job in two days and completely cleaned up the work area (and this was a seriously messy job!).  The work that he did is impeccable.  I see from some other reviews that some people have had scheduling issues with Matt in the past.  He was very upfront about needing to accommodate his children' schedules and we were happy to work with him.  If you want an honest, skilled and reasonably priced contractor, you should call Onondaga County Construction.  You may need to work around a dedicated father's time table, but it will be well worth it!

I purchased the Angies List deal for $99.00 for snow removal by Onondaga County Construction on 03/09/2015. This was the first time I had used one of Angies List deals. From the time I placed my order, Matt kept in contact with me. When Matt couldn't make the pre-arranged date, he e-mailed me to reschedule for the next day. Matt was good about following through with e-mails and phone calls prior.  Although I placed the order on 03/09/2015, Matt didn't get to me until 03/17/2015 due to previous customer orders. By the time Matt arrived, Mother Nature had melted quite a bit of the snow and ice off the roof. Most of what was left was the ice dam at the edge of the roof and gutters.
Matt spent about a half hour in the cold and wind removing the three inches of ice build up from the front of the house. It wasn't until after Matt left that I noticed that he hadn't checked the rear of the house for another ice dam. As the weather was warming, I let it go as I was not getting any leaks in the back parts of the house. Had I paid the full value of the service, I don't think I would have gotten my money's worth as most of the snow and ice had melted by the time Matt arrived. Next winter, I wil keep Onondaga County Construction in mind for future snow removal needs.

Went well. We had a little difficulty arranging a time but it worked out okay. He had a co worker with him. Now that the weather is turning milder he thinks the warmer weather and sun will take care of the rest of the snow. He took care of the channels in the roof where the ice could build up.

They did a good job for us. I think there was a little confusion in the Big Deal that was placed on the list because it wasn't 99$ for an hour of service but 99$ off. He told us though right when he came over to give us the initial estimate for the full job. That was more of a clerical error.

Scheduling was fine and he arrived on time. He was responsive and returned our calls. He explained that we would need to have a new roof installed. He provided us with an estimate for the work, but we ended up using another company. I think that they would have done well with the work.
