Very responsive and prompt in estimate and explanation of needed services. Crew came in within a few days and were very skilled and hardworking. They maintained good communication daily on progress and cleaned up the site on completion. Excellent detail work and I recommend them highly.

The chimney crown had deteriorated and needed to be replaced; also several joints had crumbling or missing mortar in the joints.  The base of the chimney at the foundation was flaking off and needed resurfacing.  Service was excellent; the two gentlemen who performed the work were very professional and courteous.  The work done to the chimney was outstanding.  They took the time to answer any questions and were prompt when getting back to you.  I would recommend MJ Richardson Contracting to my friends and family

The roof is leaking and it was a brand new roof. They will not respond to my calls and will not fix this issue. I have called them several times.

M.J. Richardson was the 3rd company we got estimates from. They responded immediately to our call. They were on the job within 3 days of contact. They came on time, gave us written estimates and did not ask for money up front, which another contractor did. They were more thorough in assessing our needs. We had dampness coming into the family room of our raised ranch. They went up on the roof and discovered that our chimney was pulling away from the house and water was running down behind it. In addition our foundation had cracks. Instead of just refacing the chimney (as other contractors suggested) they replaced every cinder block. It looks great. They also took care of our garage floor as mentioned above. The inside of the house needed sheet rock on 3 walls, baseboards, studs, insulation and walls painted. All issues were taken care of to our satisfaction. We highly recommend this company. they are pleasant, polite neat, honest, dependable and most of all know what they are doing. Since we have an indoor-only cat, they were careful to make sure the door was not left open. What more could you want from a contractor?

These are the best people I've ever dealt with. These young guys were left alone for a couple hours here and there, and I never once saw them take a break. I was even having problems with my lawn mower and one of them came over to help me before going straight back up to the roof and continuing to work again. The finished chimney is a work of art, and it's absolutely beautiful.

They came right away. everytime the wind came through it made a very load noice. they fixed it very effiecently. it was a pleasent experience.

Mike and crew were easy to work with. Mike took time to explain things, he was courteous and respectful. The entire crew worked diligently and did a wonderful job....did some "extra" little things that rate the company high in my estimation. They were careful to keep a clean work site and took precautions so as to not cause property damage. As for punctuality...they did not come at the time they quoted on first day but called to say they would be delayed and that was appreciated. Once job started they always came on time....work took 2 days and on the 3rd day they came back after cement was dry and put sealer on. The company does other work so Mike took time to discuss with us possible future work and give us ideas and feedback. We were pleased with the attention to detail that sets a company apart from others. Highly recommend and definitely would use again.
