These guys were great! I had been talking with their sales rep Anthony since last year and I told him what happened. With in a couple of days, Michale (the owner) and his crew were on my roof replacing it in 20 degree weather. They came right before the last snow storm and replaced half and came back a couple of days after the storm to finish. They also replaced a rotted out area under my daughter's window that was leaking into my back porch. We also purchased gutters from them, that only took about 3 hours to put up and look great on the house. This company is very professional, personable, does outstanding work and are priced fairly... I would recommend them to anyone! Next year we tackle the siding:)

The roof is good, but my attic was a mess when they were finished. They didn't bother to cover it, and it was left like that when they were done. Also the broke the hinge of my gate. This was last year in Nov. it still bothers me. I think I know why my property was treated in that manor. Tony was very professional, and did clean up the attic the next day. I'm sure no other customer had this problem.

Everything went very well from start to finish. In the decades I've hired contractors this was the first company who actually came early and left late. They were courteous, professional and after watching them for a couple of days I knew I was in good hands. I'm pretty particular and I'm more than pleased with how everything turned out. I should add that going into the job I thought there were only 3 layers of shingles on the roof, as did the contractor. He did not charge extra for having to remove the additional layer. They repaired several things that needed it as well. A week or so later I noticed a spot that was missed when wrapping an entryway door(they also wrapped most exposed wood and did a great job), I texted Tony, the guy who sold me the job and who, by the way, is very responsive to the customers' concerns and needs and will do his best to make sure you're satisfied with the work done. He also answers his phone! It was taken care of the next day. Tony also came over when I had some questions as well as to re secure the old gutter that had come loose and fallen prior to the new ones being installed, ON A SUNDAY!! I'm very glad that I found this company. For me, it was a big job and I was very nervous about having it done and done right. Michael Graham and company did just that! I've already recommended them several times this week alone. If you need any roofing or siding work done I highly recommend Michael C. Graham and Son Construction. You won't regret it! I certainly don't!

As a career sales manager, I can attest to the fact that when a customer has a complaint, they will let you know, as they should. Yet, I can also attest to the fact in most cases, a satisfied customer will rarely take the time to express their appreciation on a job well done. I recently was helping my elderly parents to have their roof replaced and a deck re-built. The first two contractors that I had contacted were very negative experiences. Another got back to me too late. The company I ended up with, I only knew from seeing their trucks occasionally around town. My experience with them was great from the very beginning to the very end. The customer service rep. kept me informed and up to date on scheduling. The sales rep. was very professional, knowledgeable, and extremely personable. The work crew was like nothing I have ever seen before. There were several trucks and trailers, with about a dozen workers. All with matching shirt, each man knew his job. The teamwork and efficiency got the job done in one day. The finished work was first rate, and our family would recommend them very highly.

The team was excellent. I received an quote from Tony who was professional and prompt. Tony responded to all my questions and was great to work with. Tony kept me informed of the start date and only had a minor impact due to weather beyond their control. Even then he followed up to make sure I was informed. Next the team showed up to perform the work. They protected everything and showed up with plenty of manpower to get the job done. A couple of things again showed they were the right team, they cleaned up all day long and always left the jobsite organized and clean. Each night they made sure everything was weatherproof. Tony and Michael showed up each day to insure the job was progressing and being done right. When necessary they jumped right into the job. At the end of the job they cleaned up everything including hand picking the nails and materials out of the landscaping. The work was excellent and they made sure the work was right, even correcting errors made when the first roof was previously installed by another contractor. The finished product was great looking and they hit every detail without exception. It was a tricky roof and they knew how to tackle the job correctly. I would recommend them to anyone without hesitation. They communicate, they work hard, and they pay attention to the little details that make the job go smoothly. A side little note to details, one screen got a small tear, Tony went out and had it back up the next day fixed better then it was the day before! I would like to say thanks to all of his crew, everyone of them worked hard and were truly concerned to make sure the job was completed correctly. I wish all home improvement jobs were as easy as this was!

After the roofing company that had replaced our roof in 2005, and provided follow-up repairs as recently as 2013, failed to return phone messages starting in early summer 2015 regarding our two skylights leaking, we turned to Angie's List to pursue another contractor. By then it was early November and we were catching more and more drips in plastic wastebaskets in our main living area. A local company I had heard of but never used--Michael Graham & Son Construction--had very high grades on Angie's List, and lots of them, so I gave them a call. The young lady who answered the phone was up front about their crews being pretty well booked right into the upcoming early winter, but would send the estimator out anyway to assess what we needed and how they might "fit us in." The estimator (Tony) arrived right on time and was very friendly and professional in every way. He confirmed we needed to replace the skylights (unless we wanted to eliminate them, which we did not) and took measurements, etc. to prepare a quote; he indicated confidence that the company would be able to fit out job in somewhere in their schedule, anticipating it would take them just one day if not less, but we would have to wait to hear from them because--due to weather and other jobs on the calendar into January--it would be unpredictable as to when they could find that day. Sure enough, a month or less later we received Tony's call to give us about a week's notice they could come to do our windows. And sure enough, it was a one-day job in early December with daylight left over. The Michael C. Graham & Son crew consisted of plenty of workers (including Michael Graham Jr., company owner) and all were well-skilled, efficient, and courteous. Two new high-quality Velux fixed skylights (c.2'x6') were beautifully installed and have behaved beautifully for us. Per their recommendation and quote, they also re-roofed the entire approx. 16' x 30' porch-like roof area where the skylights are located using a quality architectural shingle and water shield all the way up--pretty much essential with our harsh central New York winters. We especially appreciated the special attention Michael gave to matching the older shingle so closely, as that brown color had been discontinued within five years of when it was originally put on our house(!).

It went excellent. Very happy on how quickly they were able to respond and fix our issue.

Michael Graham is a professional. He did the estimate himself and said that he would put up my lightning rods if he was awarded the job. We obtained 5 quotes and the pricing was all over the place, crazy & confusing; three were in line with each other, but we chose Michael & his crew because of a recommendation from a friend and because he gave the best presentation with the best roofing package. He is a no nonsense kind of guy when it comes to his business. A large crew arrived on a Thursday morning and they removed the old shingles in less than a day and did not leave our home until the roof was secured in case of rain. There was no screwing around with this group of workers. They finished the job on the house and barn in 2 1/2 days and it looks great. Michael personally includes a 20 year warranty on his work. That was the best labor warranty we received. Also, if there are problems with the shingles, Michael personally handles the Manufacturer's warranty. We are very pleased, would recommend Michael & his crew and we would use this Company again!

This company was wonderful to work with!! I had a great feeling from the first meeting. Owner came to do the estimate himself. He was very thorough and honest. Let us know that some of the work we were going to have done was unnecessary which saved us about $2500. They gave us the best price (by about $2000) of all the companies we had met with. Our new roof was on within 6 days of our estimate. The company was very professional and efficient. Our entire job was done the same day and our roof looks AMAZING!!

They were prompt, professional, courteous, dependable. They arrived on time and completed the job in a timely manor. They cleaned up each day and we were extremely pleased with the company. They also replaced 2 skylights in the family room. The cost was very reasonable. We give this company an A Plus rating.

The workmanship was excellent. Mike is knowledgeable, straightforward and he was on site during our roof replacement. Mike and his crew were polite and respectful - people that you are comfortable having at your home. They did a great job of protecting our windows with plywood, our shrubs with tarps and they cleaned up every night. We took a number of bids and, while Mike's bid was not the lowest, we are certain that we got the best job at the best price.

Michael's team showed up immediately after sending a deposit for the work. They installed a 30 year architectural shingle roof, installed ice and water leak barriers, and in the contract stated that they would replace any bad decking at $45.00 sheet 1/2 in. plywood. The total cost came to $4410. What a great job. They are honest. They are careful around your property, covering plants and bushes. Then after all is said and done, they clean up the entire property and any other papers that may have flown onto neighbors property. On top of all this, I noticed that a piece of wood under the front upper window had been broken by large icicles and they replaced that. I highly recommend them. I compared others prices and he was the most fair of all and in the comparison, others who would have used the same CertainTeed select shingles wanted more money. And all was done in one day.

They were very responsive to our request, and scheduled an appointment to prepare their estimate on a Sunday afternoon, that was the first day that I was available. Their price was on the high side, so we ended up using another contractor for this project.

Everything went well overall and we couldn't be happier with Michael and Michael Jr. Right from the start with the salesman to the clean-up. As the polite salesman promised, the job went like clockwork. We scheduled our roofing project two weeks in advance with a one day delay because of a snow storm. The owner and his son were at our home both days working and overseeing the whole operation. The workers were polite and respectful of my home and property. There were no surprises or hidden fees, just as they stated. The price might have been a little high, but not the highest. The most impressive thing to me was how Michael was able to produce all the proper insurances for he and his crew. I called my own insurance company to verify what insurances a roofer needs in NY State and they told me "liability and workers comp". When I got quotes from 4 popular roofing companies in the area, none of them carried the proper insurances! Michael was the only company to actually provide that info up front. We couldn't be happier with the work performed!!!! Give this guy a call....

The crew actually came early on a Monday when I expected a Tuesday or Wednesday. They replaced the entire roof in 1 day. Their were 16 guys and they had it down to a science. Mr. Graham was on site and explained everything to me and gave me options regarding the total job. Hopefully this will last 20+years and I believe they will stand behind it.

After we signed the contract we never heard from anyone as to when they were going to start the job. Finally after calling we were given a date. After returning the first day things seemed ok but after they completed the job and left there was cigarette butts, shingle wrappings, nails and tar paper left all over. They dropped something and put a huge gash in the back of our house ( cedar siding ). They decided to put flashing on a small roof that covers my back door, in the process broke more siding by being careless. There was also many other places were things had been dropped up against the house and left marks They replaced skylights and got tar all over the inside. A second skylight was put in so tightly that the custom interior shade could not be installed. I was told they needed to replace 13 sheets of plywood. I'm not sure they even did. A similar situation ( plywood ) happened on a friends house they did. A letter and pictures were sent. that was returned as " unclaimed ". This was followed by a electronic copy. I hired a small handyman service to come in and fix the damage. They did take responsibility for the damage and they did compensate me for the repair work.

wonderful, i got a quote and agreed to it. a day later got a date and they came . I went to work it was done when i came home not nails all over the place . I love working with them.

Michael was easy to deal with and fully explained the work and estimate. The large crew showed up on time and completed the work quickly and efficiently. Michael was fast to fix a minor problem found after an unusually windy rain storm. One year later and the new roof is fine.

Contractor explained how he would repair problem with roof and how he would eliminate the unnecessary vents along with his estimate. He was patient while we chose shingle color providing us with extra samples and even driving me around to look at neighborhood roofs. Once we entered the contract he scheduled a date and only delayed one day due to weather. His crew worked very efficiently to get the work done in one day. When a problem arose later he responded the next day with a fix and promises to come back if more is needed.
