Andrew Zema's Landscaping, Inc.

We knew that we wanted to have some landscaping done to beautify our home, but we had no idea where to start.  We had seen some of the work of Andrew Zema's Landscaping (at a mansion) during a tour and we were in awe.  We were told that he had  famous clientele (and we had heard even before then that he is renowned in the landscaping industry).  We were sure he would be out of our league, but we decided it was at least worth getting an estimate.   From our first visit with Andrew himself, we were impressed.  He was very down to earth and it was obvious that he is extremely knowledgeable in his trade.  He really did a wonderful job of understanding our wants (certain flowers and trees were a "must" for us) and incorporating them into the design.  He took the layout of our property into consideration, utilized the space and explained his thoughts to us along the way.  He was very good about presenting ideas and had no problem with making changes based on our preferences.  Even before they started the work, we knew that we were going to love the outcomeWe feel like they really went above & beyond with the job.  It was not cheap, but it was well worth it for the quality of work.  If we just wanted some mulch & shrubs, we could have easily done it ourselves but we wouldn't be receiving all the compliments from neighbors, friends, and even complete strangers driving by.  Some of the things we are most pleased with are: 1. The cutting garden he suggested - I can't tell you how nice it is to have fresh flowers for my dining room table all the time.  2. They put in "step" stones (big chunks of stone that they cut to fit - and somehow it still looks natural) just outside our fence to make a gentle transition to the concrete around the pool.  3. An irrigation system installed based on his recommendation - which we have been so thankful for!  We don't lose any time watering all these wonderful plants.  4. A tree line they put in as a border along the edge of our yard.  We didn't even have to wait for the trees to grow, they were tall and full when they put them in and they will continue to mature.His workers were always very polite & focused on their work.  They really get a lot done in a day.  They have been back since (the work was done last year) to do clean-up work - weeding and trimming.  We have been very pleased with that as well.
