Cons: Very bad after service support and planning. I had a broken window (at the time of their installataion) and a need for changing the moulding on a couple of windows. It took them over 4 months to get the day scheduled (and this was not because of product delay) and even after that they werent prepared for the job, there was overall confusion from the guy who comes in to do the job vs the person i talk to on the phone. Pathetic display of customer service. All their promise about windows support post installation goes out the windows for me. I will use another service for the rest of my house now. Pros: Windows are good quality.

After sending our service technician out today to replace a sash, it was discovered that he needed to further assess replacement of moldings on two windows that were not installed by our company and were not notated on the original contract. We had requested your patience as we communicated this issue to the owner being that we had nothing on record in the contract for this additional work. We strive to give everyone a great experience before, during and after, but unfortunately we cannot please everyone. Let us know if there is anything we can do further to assist you."

Very happy with our new windows. Took 4 weeks from the time the owner came out to measure to when they installed the new windows. They worked with our HOA and were a few hundred dollars leas than the other 2 proposald we got. Will be using them when we are ready tonreplace our side entry door.

My husband bought a window from Home Depot for the bathroom and tried to install it himself. That didn't work well at all. We searched around online and found The Men With Tools. John came to the house and was very professional and knowledgeable. We wound up getting the bathroom window reinstalled correctly for FREE and wound up doing 6 windows upstairs with this company. Everything ran smooth and we will definitely be using them again. A++++

My wife and I were very impressed with this company. We had a few estimates and they were not the lowest (they were close though) but we chose them because the owner was very knowledgeable about all the products we needed and took over an hour to sit with us. The woman who runs the office was always in touch with us which was great and the install crew was Grade A. No complaints here. When next year rolls around we will be doing all the bedrooms upstairs.

The owner and employees were very nice to work with. It only took a couple of weeks to get my windows and they came to install immediately. Giovanni, was the head installer, and was very nice. They were at my home on time and were done by 2pm. Very happy with their services and will be using them again when I do my front entry door.

I had gone to a few local window and door showrooms and they were all pushing for their most expensive lines. When I went to see John and Jen at The Men With Tools and they guided me in the right direction. They gave me a great product with LIFETIME guarantees and they were $3600.00 less than the other companies. Giovanni and the rest of the installers were prompt and courteous. I have recommended them to my neighbors already.

Everyone at Men With Tools Cell Phone is so professional, courteous, knowledgeable, punctual, and they explain things so well with pictures of their products as they go over everything about them. The salesman who met with me name John did not pressure me to buy the most expensive windows, it was a pleasure to speak with the salesman who doesn’t try to pressure you into getting the most expensive things and he really showed he cared about me getting the best windows for my home. Even Jennifer who is the co-owner and answers the phones is polite and calls and checks up to let you know when your windows will be there when they arrive. The man who came here to work on the windows were three of them. It took them about seven hours to install all three windows and the patio doors it was so quick I was stunned. They even vacuumed and took all the old windows away. You wouldn’t even know they were here because unlike other contractors I’ve hired and I’ve hired many because I just moved into a new home they left my house spotless. I will absolutely use them again if I need to for another window I have for anything else they do. I highly recommend them I met with four other window manufacturers and they were so overpriced and aggressive in trying to make the sale. Men With tools where the total opposite. Again if you want to professionalism, courteous, a lifetime warranty, and the job done quickly and efficiently absolutely hire this company. I can go on anon but I’ll stop but I was so impressed with this company and I highly recommend them to you and I tell you you won’t be disappointed. The day after my windows were done Joanne the salesman who came here called me to ask me how everything went even gave me his cell phone number to let me know if I ever need something done with the windows or patio doors to call him because his lifetime warranty. You don’t get service like this anymore these days it was great that this company is old school and actually cares about the customers and doesn’t try to sell you the most expensive items they have to make a buck.

The installation went well. However, on the very first day of installation, we noticed scratches on our brand new floor. We have a dog (Labrador Retriver) who scratches the floor just by walking on it. Our daughter in law owns a dog grooming shop therefore our dogs nails are regularly clipped AND filed. We had hardwood floors for 21 yrs. prior to these floors. The only reason that we purchased new floors is because we wanted a darker color and didn't want the hassle of having the floors sanded and re-finished. When the owner of The Men With Tools came to our home he sat in our dining room for 1 1/2 hours showing me brochures on windows (While my dog sat right next to us). I contacted him one day after installation to inform him about scratches, "he said, "I didn't know you had a dog" and the last time he was in our home to get our window order, we were having new pavers installed in our backyard". I told him that proves that our dog was in the house because our outside gate was taken down and our entire backyard was dug up. Our dog never would have been outside at that time. Besides the fact that I specifically told him upon ordering this floor that I want something durable for a dog. He then said that he is afraid of dogs and would have told me to put my dog away. (One lie after another.). The finish on this "Appalachian Maple" hardwood floor is inferior. I have never seen anything quite like this before. We literally have hundreds of scratches on a floor less than two months old. I contacted the manafacturer of the floor in Canada & are waiting for a reply. John doesn't follow up to find out what Appalachian Flooring has told us. Do not purchase hardwood flooring from The Men With Tools or you will be sorry! We literally threw $6,500.00 down the drain!

I had my windows installed this summer (2017). At first, I was not so aware of the difference. But with all the rain and the colder weather, there is a definite difference The noise factor is WAAAY down. I am on a leveling plan with my electric but looking at the "monthly bill" it has made a difference! I highly recommend this company. 5 stars!!!

I first hired The men with tools to install wood floors, and get a quote on a new front entry door. John and Jack emailed out the catalog of the doors they carry within an hour. My wife and I selected the door and as soon as it was delivered I was contacted to schedule installation. The installers were on time, neat, professional, courteous, and removed the old door and installed the new door quickly and cleanly. There was so little disruption that my son actually slept through the entire process. I received a call from John about an hour after the installation was completed asking if everything was ok. The door met our expectations, but the service as always exceeded. I will probably be contacting them for windows next.

I filled out an online form on their website, within 30 minutes I received a phone call and an email from Jack. The next morning I received a call from John who was available to measure that afternoon. He arrived on time and was very pleasant. I've never dealt with any business that was as responsive! We went to their showroom to see the flooring options which were plentiful, however we ended up purchasing the wood from another source so that it would be an exact match to what we had in other locations of the house. John was not only accommodating and willing to install flooring from another business BUT he went out of his way to visit the store to make sure the product was good quality. He supplied them with the measurements for me and I was able to just pay them for the products ordered. Once I had a delivery date, John and Jack scheduled the installation allowing for acclimation of the new hardwood to conditions in our home. The installers arrived exactly on time, they were neat and courteous and respectful of my home and property as they moved furniture. The floors came out better than expected. Front entry door is on order, we can't wait for that!
