Roto Rooter

Roto Rooter of Staten Island is an overpriced, unprofessional company with neither integrity nor respect for their customers. The plumber was 2 hours late without an apology. The dispatcher was curt and rude. The loss mitigation consultant misled me. The cleaning crew did half the job and ripped a lighting fixture out of the ceiling, then pretended to know nothing about it when I said something. I called about the missing fixture twice and was not called back until more than 24 hours later and they did not take responsibility. I had to spend $200 to repair it with an electrician. When a Roto Rooter person came to pick up their equipment, he said, sign here. I asked by signing here, what am I agreeing to. He replied you are agreeing that I picked up the equipment. This was a bold faced lie. A moment later i got an e mail thanking me for being satisfied with the work. On top of all this, the bill was a ridiculous $6000, $5000 of which was paid by my homeowner's insurance, $1000 of which i had to pay myself. Just 3 short days after the money was due, they called and left a message threatening to put a lien on my property. Again only 3 days! I will never do business with them again. Absolutely terrible!
