"1st off - you did NOT get us from Angie's list therefore should NOT be able to leave an absurd review. 2nd: You hired JPI on 10/23/18; it was not until 10 days later on 11/2 you called to report an "apparent" boiler crack. In which you & your husband acknowledge you had another plumber there for something and that you wanted a refund of the money paid to us. You indicated you called the Home Inspector who said he missed this "crack" and refunded you the money of $ 500. You purchased this house is June 2018; highly unlikely on a 20 year old boiler, 5 months later. You send pictures of this "cracked" boiler to which I sent to the manufacturer New Yorker; who stated it is NOT A CRACK; but a leak. When JPI Plumbing left; that boiler was working fine; you also stated you STILL have heat when you called on 11/7/18. We provided a cleaning on your 20 year old boiler; we could have walked out and the leak started. We did not cause the leak, nor was it there when we were there servicing the boiler. If you would have given us the opportunity of a call back; we could have provided a credit of that cost to a newer boiler but you husband said in an email and I quote: "I am sorry we didn't provide JPI with a courtesy call and that is my fault, admittedly"."

"When scheduling we give a 2 hour window; but the nature of the business sometimes doesn't allow us to stay within that time frame. I am pleased you indicated I kept you posted on the scheduling delay; so others will understand we just did not forget you and arrived when we wanted. Not all calls cause a delay; I'm sorry yours did; but very much appreciated your patience."

So that meant we needed to remove the toilet, snake the line and then reset the bowl with new wax ring, bolts and plaster. Hence the cost of the job. "This job was done is 2014 and just hearing this for the first time. My report state: Antique style pedestal sink had leak; disassembled pedestal sink; removed, supplied and installed new 1 1/4" pop up assembly, 1 1/4" drain to the 2" p-trap; re-assembled; tested; all in working order AND caulked. We always warranty our work for one year. A simple call could have made a huge difference."
