There were other things that needed to be done which cost me an additional $141 more than the service I had bought through Angies list. The garage door runs smoothly but I wish they had been able to get it to seal completely, which they said they could not do due to the floor being not level.

Timely professional, Had to return because he did not have a part (which I had NOT originally asked for) and was on time again. Now, no squeaks, works fine.

They did a tremendous job. We purchased a big deal and used that. Had to pay a little extra for a part but that was totally worth it. I would recommend them to friends. They were here on time and fixed everything.

The service man was very professional and pleasant. He did a quick and thorough inspection. I would use Chrisite for future garage door maintenance.

Called after hours and left message. The next morning I called just a few minutes after opening just to double check they had my message. They had my info and told me the tech would be at my house late morning. I received a call two hours later letting me know the tech would arrive within 40 minutes. I called back at 50 minutes to check if they had trouble finding my house. I live in an area where some GPS maps are not accurate. The office told me he was on the way. He arrived five minutes later. Because they communicated well, it was only 15 minutes of waiting, my house is hard to find and it was same-day service they still rate an A. Upon arrival the tech was very pleasant and knowledgable. He diagnosed the problem in seconds and quoted me a fair price. He needed too replace two pulleys. The parts were on the truck. They were much stronger than the the originals. He drilled the hole in the frame larger to accommodate. He then installed the pulleys. He tightened all screws on the door and replaced one as a courtesy. He made final adjustments and lubricated. He was done in about a half hour. When I asked if i needed other replacement parts or a better system he was honest and professional and told me my system was fine. He even advised me on how to refresh the finish on my door if I was going to do it myself. The quoted price quoted was the final price. I had the door repaired for something similar about four years ago by a different company who is no longer in business. They charged me a bit more. So the pricing was fair for our area. I highly recommend this company. The door works better than I can ever remember. I will use them again. And if ever need a new garage door I would trust this company. They were that good! Thank you!

All went very well from the first contact I had with Michelle who gave me an appointment at my convience and was a pleasure to deal with. Anthony the tech called me to say when he would arrive and did as expected. He was very polite and professional and even answered my question regarding the age of the garage door opener since I just purchased this home last November. He also gave me an estimate in case the motor failed since it was dated 1994 and the life span had exceeded it already. If I should need to replace my garage door opener, they will be the ones I call.

The company scheduled an appointment and called me 45 minutes before the scheduled appointment. The mechanic arrived on time and explained the work he was there to do. My garage door was also out of line and didn't lock correctly. He spent about an hour making the repairs and when he was done the garage door worked like new. All the work was explained in detail in advance of the repair, and I was completely satisfied with the result.

There was additional items that needed to be fixed. I am fully satisfied with the results! Michelle called within hours of placing the order and the service was provided with in 4 days. Anthony the service Tech was professional and completed the job quickly. My Door is now quiet and set for many more years.

What a pleasant experience having someone come out promptly, give an estimate and do a wonderful job with no hassle and a Great price. Joe is a professional and definitely knowledgeable about his garage doors. Christie Overhead Door is the garage door company to call. From the time they came to my home and gave me an estimate to the day off my installation was a great experience. I just wanted to tell you how happy I am with my door .As my neighbors pass by my home everyone compliments the door, some of them have even called Christie Over Head Door themselves. Wow what a difference a door can make. The installers did a great job and left the garage spotless, this level of professionalism is rare today. The prices were great and each person from estimator to installers to office were a pleasure to deal with. I would recommend Christie Over Head door to anyone who is looking for a new garage door.

Excellent! I was fortunate enough to win a donated garage door opener from Christie Overhead Doors. We were in the market for a new garage door and decided we would get an estimate from Christie Overhead Doors. Despite being located in Staten Island, a representative, Chris, came to our home in New Jersey to give us an estimate. He was courteous and punctual. He was also a real gentleman!!! We were given a great price for the door and so we placed the order. The door arrived and was installed on the scheduled date. It looks awesome! I am grateful for the new opener on my brand new garage door and would highly recommend them!

Poor communication from the owner...Non existent after 4 p.m. Doesn't return calls when it's convenient for the customer. Not true to word. Inflated price of initial estimate by some 400 bucks. Stay away. Not true to their word. Completely wasted our time for over a month. They inflated the total price by $400 a month later. Problem is owner doesn't communicate after 4 p.m. He did return our calls but when it wasn't convenient for us. We tried numerous times to reach him after 4 p.m. but doesn't work after 4, or so it seems. Then we spoke to two receptionists who gave us a totally inflated price of more than $400. We have a written estimate owner did in person for 400 bucks less! The reason we never initially went through with the deal was because we explained to owner if he would honor the discount provided to Angie's List--he insisted there isn't an Angie's List member discount--meanwhile it's still posted as of today -- 5 percent discount for Angie's List senior discount--. Stay away. Bottom line is: They will give you reasonable estimate, but you can't communicate with the owner when it's convenient for you the customer....Inflate prices.

Very satisfied, they did a nice job and the price was reasonable.

CHRISTIE OVERHEAD DOORS DID AN ALRIGHT JOB. THEY WEREN'T BAD, BUT THEY COULD HAVE BEEN A LOT BETTER I THINK. THEY TOOK THEIR TIME IN GETTING TO THE JOB I NEEDED DONE. I WAS SATISFIED WITH THE JOB, BUT THAT'S IT.
