I did not get the opportunity to perform the inspection we wanted to do with this company because it was canceled at the last minute, but Aleks made the whole the process easy. Aleks and his team were fantastic! They helped us gut renovate our kitchen including tiling the floor, replacing a door and window, new electrical wiring, new plumbing, installing a range hood, removal of a load-bearing wall and installation of a post and beam in its place. The crew were great to work with - very pleasant and best of all - highly skilled with a rare and much appreciated attention to detail and craftsmanship. There was excellent communication and consultation throughout the process. They cleaned up thoroughly at the end of each day (which was important as we were living amidst the construction). We are thrilled with the final work done and would highly recommend them to others.

It went great. Contractor, AMC Interiors, Alex, showed up when arranged. Alex and his team came prepared. They asked lots of questions throughout the process to make sure they got it right. They did extensive work gutting both rooms, replaced windows, had to level floors, install new flooring, plumbing, electrical, cabinets and appliances. They were open to suggestion and made valuable suggestions. While they were here we started the "might as wells", when you have a good contractor you hang on to them. We did our upstairs bedroom, spare room, office and part of our living room in shiplap. Their attention to detail was appreciated. I am a stickler for detail and they surpassed my expectations. Our home is 75 year old half round log and they made the siding they had to replace outside match perfectly. It is difficult having people around your house for extended periods of time but AMV Interiors was a pleasure to have around. They were respectful. Did not use inappropriate language and had fun while they worked. It made it easier to have people around the house. AMV Interiors was simply great. They worked safely. Cleaned up and left things in order ever day. They hauled away all the debris everyday and when they left the place was clean and ready to use. They made the experience easy and left us with a beautiful house. HIRE AMV Interiors. You will not be disappointed.

I don't know if there are enough wonderful words to describe AMV Interiors, and Aleks' work that he did for me... but let me start with this: Absolutely Professional Attention to Details Problem Solvers Kind and Helpful A JOY to have in my home Aleks, Ben, Mike, Justin and Billy are the DREAM TEAM of Renovators. They were at my door every morning as scheduled with huge smiles on their faces and an eternal positive attitude. We had some problem solving to do from day to day, as all renovations end up having, and every single issue was talked about, figured out, and implemented. Their motto? NO PROBLEM!! There was never a day that they called and said, "Well, we can't make it today because we've got other work to do". Since they all work as a team, and do everything themselves, from plumbing to painting to electrics to installation, I never had to experience the phone call telling me that the subcontractor wasn't available until next week. The Bathroom is GORGEOUS. Above and beyond my wildest expectations. The attention to details= and lovely precision of work is incredible. They figured things out problems that I didn't even KNOW was a problem. For example: there was a very slight gap between the wall and the vanities. I didn't even notice it. It looked just fine to me. But Justin noticed it, told me why they needed to be flush, and figured out how to make the vanities look PERFECT. If I was away from the house, Aleks made sure I was informed about everything they were doing, and texted and called if he needed to talk and problem solve. NOTHING was EVER a problem with these guys. I've never laughed and had so much fun with Contractors. They cleaned up beautifully and always made sure things were covered and put away every night before they left. I told them, and I meant it, that I really didn't want them to leave... I will be doing another round of renovations with our home in the future, and you can bet that I will be calling Aleks again. If you're in the Ellenville/Spring Glen area and beyond, you would be a fool not to call Aleks and book him as soon as possible. He's very popular, and is in high demand. f you want the short story- put your mouse away, close the computer, stop the hours of research and reading reviews. Pick up your phone and call Alexs (845) 741-8607. This is the only company you will need for all of your new or old construction needs, at very reasonable rates. Keep in mind, AMV is in demand and you should schedule ASAP if going forward. Now for the long story- sit down grab a beer or cup of coffee. Meet the amazing crew: Aleks (the Magician), Mike (the Perfectionist), Benny (the Astounding Albanian) and Jerm (the Talking Bull). After calling AMV for an estimate, Aleks scheduled a next day appointment. Aleks shows up at our agreed time and this is where the best contractor experience I have ever had begins. We go over the scope of work I would like done. There is one task Aleks tells me up front, that he has never done before, and that is the knockdown texture on the ceiling. Rather than bringing in another contractor just for the ceiling, we agree to give it a try with the understanding if I do not like it, I will not be charged. Aleks points out the many mistakes I had in my design thoughts. We go over his suggestions, which I might add, were all beneficial up the line. There was no up selling, just great ideas. Two days later I receive an email with proposal, we make some changes, and agree on the price and start date. The magic transition begins on the start date agreed on. The van pulls into my driveway at 8:15 AM, just like it did every day going forward. Starting each morning with a handshake and hello, the day begins. For the most part, you can expect a full day of work each day. The exception would be if the crew has completed one task and there is no sense in starting a new task with time constraints. You will always see either Aleks or Mike with Benny or Jerm, or all 4 on any given day. The biggest take away here is that these guys do not cut corners and will do ANYTHING to make the job right, and you happy. Another worthy note to keep in mind is, along with quality work, AMV uses only top quality materials, right down to the screws and nails. I remember at one point, my wife and I were not sure of our choice of backsplash color that we had picked out. Aleks already had six square feet up on the wall. We told him we were not feeling our choice of color. His response was, “No problem, I can take it down now. I will start over with your new tile, don’t settle, you will be looking at it for a long time. You have to love it now.” If that wasn’t enough, the new tile we picked out that night at Lowes needed to be special ordered, with a two week delay. I called Aleks from Lowes, knowing he had his next job scheduled during that time period. His response was, “Get what you like and we can work it out.” I realize time is money and I caused him extra time. The only thing in his thought process was to make me happy. By the way, Aleks did his homework on the knockdown texture. He was relentless until he got it right. It looks great! I would like to touch on my comment, “plenty of extras.” Here are just two examples. The crew was constantly going up and down my basement stairs for supplies. While doing so, Aleks noticed that my stairs were shifting from the wall. He made me aware of the danger of collapsing. At some point, I go to use the stairs myself and bingo, the stairs are sturdy like new. The other example is, I had a charging cord for my cordless vac, going from my dining room outlet and wrapping around the wall and basement door jam, to the vac on the wall of the stairs. Next thing I know, I have an outlet on the wall of the stairs for direct connection to my vac. Tell me, what contractor does this without gouging you? I am convinced, you will not come across a more honest and helpful group of guys in the construction business. From what I’ve seen, they can do it all. You need to call AMV for your next job! The only thing left to say is that our dining room/kitchen looks more amazing than we ever dreamed of and the deck will last a hundred years. Thank you Guys, for an amazing job well done.

Aleks provided a professional quote and exceeded our expectations for quality of work - adding a few small unanticipated work items that he noticed within the quoted price. He met the schedule and cost commitments. When decisions were required while we were not on location, he called and sent pictures as appropriate. He was very responsive to questions or changes in work scope. Overall: great contractor with whom to work.

Aleks and his crew, Mike and Justin, went beyond our expectations. After reading Angie’s list reviews we called Aleks for an estimate. We were impressed with his knowledge and ideas. His estimate was midway between two others we obtained and although not inexpensive, we got what we paid for. It was worth every penny. Aleks provided information and support for our decisions every step of the way. Mike and Justin were respectful of our home and left it clean everyday and the work area organized. There were no delays in getting the work done. Most important, they did an impeccable job, from detailed tile work in the shower they created, to painting, to shifting around the plumbing a bit. They were all friendly and easy to have in our home. We have a lot of work that needs done. I’ll be calling them again.

This is our second go around with Aleks and his crew at AMV, and just like the first time, we couldn't be happier with the experience. This was a somewhat last minute renovation (all to accommodate an impulse-buy pool table) and Aleks found a way, in his packed schedule, to fit us in and perform the work in record time. The results are professional and beautiful. I even made a bad lighting purchase that just wouldn't work with what we need, and have had to order a replacement, which Aleks has graciously agreed to come and install, even though the job is done.
