This past August I posted a very negative review of Oaks Construction. I would like to rescind that now. Since that time, the owner Kris Oaks, personally got involved. He has worked very hard to resolve any and all of my issues and concerns. He has communicated with me regularly, assigned staff to work with me, and has done anything possible to make me happy. As a result of his efforts, I went forward and had Oaks Construction perform the work that I originally requested. His workers were both professional and did excellent work. He put a schedule together and stayed on schedule. The quality of the finished job is excellent. I can now wholly recommend Oaks Construction to anyone. They are responsive to their customers and do quality work. You will be extremely pleased if you contract with them. I know am.

We hired them in July and they didn’t start until October. They would say they would call us back, but many times they didn’t. They finished the job and didn’t contact us. The dumpster sat in our driveway for a month after they thought they were finished. They didn’t cover around our front door. They said it wasn’t on there list. They did comeback and finish the door and take the dumpster away. It was a very painful experience.

Excellent workmanship was performed on my shed, which needed much repair. The results are exceptional. I would highly recommend Oaks Construction. I received professional, knowledgeable and very friendly customer service from Phil and Tom. They provide great communication throughout the whole job. The employees are very skilled and hard working. I am very impressed with Oaks Construction and have already planned another job with them.

They sent their “sister” company, Graves Bros.. Personable, quick, efficient and excellent work. Bonus - the final cost was less than we anticipated and half the cost of an estimate from another company. We will definitely use Graves/Oaks Construction If needed again.

Very well. Workers were punctual, very efficient, professional and did a good job of clean up. This was our third job that we contracted Graves Brothers to do for us and were very pleased with all three. Any future work we need will include Oaks in our consideration.

Called this company an asked for a quote for a metal roof. Kris said he wanted to give me a quote for an asphalt roof. I told him if he wanted to spend his time doing that, fine, but that we wanted a metal roof. He arrived at the appointed time and after measuring the roof, proceeded with giving me a quote for an asphalt roof. I told him I still wanted a quote for a standing seam metal roof. He said he would get back to me. A week later, he called with a price and I told him that we would accept that, and to please send a contract. I followed up the next day, asking for the contract and a list of houses he had completed. It is now 10 days later and still have not seen the contract or the list of completed jobs. Wouldn't attempt to do business with this company again.

Two calls were placed to request an estimate. we never received a call back.

I found someone who is not on your list. It's on another list. I think they should be on Angie's List because they are a great company. They did an excellent job. I received 7 estimates. There was one company who wouldn't even give me an estimate. I showed everyone all of my estimates and Kris Oaks came down on the price, as well as did some extra things for me. They removed an old power vent and even protected my property from falling debris and nails. There weren't even any roofing nails. They had a magnetic roller that picks up metal and protected my bushes from things falling on them. They did the tear off on the day that they said they would. They did the job in a day. They don't subcontract out. They have their own employees. People are always looking for the cheapest way out, but they took the time to type up an estimate and send it to me online. The other companies were going to put on 15 pound felt, but Kris Oaks installed 30 pound felt. They put on all new boots, matched the color I wanted, installed a new ridge vent, and met my expectations fully. The price was extremely competitive. They also did 6 feet of ice and water shield in all the valleys and low slope. They did everything they said they would do, were very professional, and their guys took a break together and there wasn't any unprofessional behavior. They went all the way to the street to smoke. There wasn't any cell phone talk, and they exceeded my expectations
