I did have a very good experience of using this company for the tree service before .You can read my review from July 2013. So I called them again and I wasn't disappointed. They came for the estimate the next day and the price was very reasonable. These guys did an excellent job from beginning to end! The crew showed up first thing in the morning, and went right to work. They functioned very well as a team, and worked safely and efficiently. They put a lot of effort into not messing up the lawn, driveway and cleaned up as they worked. They all had a great attitude and were focused on making sure I was satisfied. I would recommend them unconditionally

I was so pleased. The tree was right at the corner of the deck of my house. It could have fallen on my house, my neighbors house, or a number of ornamental trees. They removed the tree without damaging anything. I was thrilled. I've never met such a polite and nice person as the person that came to give me the estimate. They were wonderful.

I'd like to thank my neighbors at Angie's list for recommending this terrific company. They did a lot of work for me and I was totally pleased. They were beyond excellent in every category.

I can't say enough about how great this company is and how great the team is. They come in on time, offer excellent quotes for work that others are charging 2x as much for and do a fantastic job. I have hired these guys twice, and will never need to look for another tree/bush service company. They are great at what they do! No complaints and I would hire them again without a second thought.

the crew came at 8 am and done by 1 worked hard nice guys definately hire them again to take down a few more. Also they had great equipment what an operation very impressed. They work well with each other, communication and safety was heavily present. I was never concerned or worried. I had electric wires between several of the trees.

Went well at first. Was given advice by a couple of their employees to not fully cut down one the trees they were contacted to cut down and leave as a stalk that we could use to put lights and speakers on for our pool that it overlooked. Come to find out this was not a good idea and in fact bad advice as the stalk would become problematic in the future and an ecosystem for bugs. We called them back looking to have some additional work done and thinking it wouldn't be an issue to have them remove the stalk they recommended leaving. Well...that is when their true colors came out. They wanted to charge me for the removal of the stalk they recommended leaving up and had already been paid for. The owner was extremely unprofessional in the way he spoke, hung up on me and before hanging up in fact said that he "didn't agree with the decision" well, mister expert why did you not interject when YOUR employee recommended it???? Stay away from Big R tree service! Its too bad you couldnt have just done the right thing and finished the job. I dont normally post on social media sites but felt compelled to do so in this case to warn others. Based on your response to my original post where you write "the original estimate changed when you kept that tree up to point where it was left" My question is when can I expect my refund? If the estimate changed for less work done, which was never communicated and also did not reflect in what I was charged because I paid you the same amount as the original estimate, I must be entitled to a refund!

I called and left a message after hours on Saturday. I received a call back on Monday and sent a photo of the tree we needed to have removed. I got a quote ($350 without grinding) - and they said they could do it the next day. The team arrived a few minutes before 8 am and got to work. They were so impressive - a neighbor hired them on the spot. The initial quote of $350 was for the tree -- and the additional hundred covered the trimming back of other trees and growth throughout the property. We couldn't be happier with the prompt, swift, and through job. My neighbor is pretty happy too. I will use Big R Tree Services in the future for big and small jobs.

It turned out good. They did everything that they said that they would. They cleaned up everything. They came out with a couple of big trucks and five men. I liked how efficient and prompt they were. There was nothing that I did not like about them. They called me back right away and they came out the next day. I would use them again.

The job went extremely well I couldn't be more pleased. Cleaned up the area to a point were you couldn't tell they were there at all. Excellent Job! Their responsiveiness was great and was only rate "A" even the appointment was rescheduled once due to a broken chipper wish was beyond their control Young lady answering the phone provided excellent customer service

I was helping my 80+ years old parents looking for someone to remove a very large Cedar tree in their front yard. I called Big R Tree Service and left a message. Bonnie returned my call promptly and the same day sent Joey, her nephew, over to the house to give an estimate. Joey was very courteous to my father and I. When I called Bonnie back to tell her that my father wanted to hire them, I also explained to her that my parents were elderly and she assured me that everything would be handled and my father should call her with any questions or concerns that he may have. Three men came the next day. My parents watched them work and said each man knew what to do and they all worked systematically together. The tree was approximately 30-40 ft. tall and the job was complete within 2 hours. My parents could not have been more pleased. They even took away some large branches my father had in the back yard away for him. In addition, they initially refused to take the tip they were offered but, my father insisted. Thank you Ron, Joey and your additional helper and Bonnie for a great job and paying respect to my parents. They very much appreciated it and so did I. P.S. The cost was so fair especially for retired seniors on a fixed income.

It worked out fine. They came on time, they're reliable and the work turned out good. My interactions with them was fine. They're very good people and I spent about $399. We added the trimming on the second tree for about $200 extra and they came out about 3 weeks after I purchased the deal.

I purchased $400 of tree service for $199. Someone came by and gave us an estimate for an additional $650 for a minimal amount of work. We finally agreed on them cutting one branch for the $199 that was paid plus an additional $50. I never heard from them again. In my opinion, I deserve a refund and I intend to pursue this in every way I can after the holidays.

We scheduled the job for a particular day and time. I called in the morning to confirm the appointment and moved all my cars and motor home for the tree service. My wife stayed home from work to wait for them and around the time they were supposed to show up they called to cancel. I would have probably canceled the job completely if I had not pre purchased their big deal but since I did I rescheduled for 2 days later. This time they showed up 1/2 hour early and completed the job with no problems. Overall on the tree cutting they did a good job and cleaned up the site, but that first day was a major inconvenience.

The company sent someone out within three days and said they would contact me. They did not reach back out to me for three weeks. I sent an email and they finally responded by saying, that they couldn't get a crew out for nothing. This does not take take care of my issue.

It went beautifully. They were right on time and everyone worked very hard. They were polite and considerate, open to all my suggestions. It was amazing to see the transformation.

These guys are great. I don't usually gush, but I just have to. Bonnie in the office was ver responsive and helped make the necessary accommodations. Ron and Dave came and gave me an estimate and said they could do the job two days later! Even though I couldn't be there for the work they did exactly what they said they'd do and then some. My yard was cleaned of any debris and the wood was taken away. I am thrilled with my new yard. I HIGHLY recommend this company for its professionalism, reasonable price and all around great service. The Big 'R' crew arrived at 8 AM and by 10 AM they completed the job. When they finished, they cleaned the property completely of all tree debris, better than what it was. The crew were professional and friendly and made sure I was satisfied before they left. I would surely recommend the company, and use them again if need be,

I was very happy with them. I called them, one of them was David, and he made an estimate for us and it as very good. It was $300 cheaper than anybody else who estimated the same work. They were very good. It's a family-run business and everybody from the family works there. They came at the exact time they promised and did everything fast and with a good quality.

They arrived right before 8 in the morning and were done by 10 in the morning. They worked very quickly, cleaned up , and took all the wood away. The only thing I had to do was spread the sawdust from the stump grinding to my gardens, as mulch.They took down two trees removed the top of a huge tree that landed in the backyard during hurrican sandy, they cleared the branches from over my gargage and garden. They even cut back a tree from the neighboring house that had uprooted during the hurricane, at my request. They halso grinded down three tree stumps

I last used their services in early November. They took a tree out for me. They were very quick. They were very fast. I think I called their number around 9 o'clock in the morning and an hour and a half later they came, looked the job over and gave me an estimate, and by 2 o'clock the job was done.

They did the job very carefully. They came when they said they were going to come. They cleaned up very nicely. They also did some tree trimming for me. I would call them back again if I needed more work.
