Although "Free Estimates" are advertised, I was told that there is a  "$99 service charge" for an estimate (it would be removed from my bill if I purchased the hot water heater).  Roland J. Down, less than truthful!

RUN the other way!!! I did not attend a meeting at work today so that I could be here during the window of time that I was given for my maintenance call. I phoned them at the beginning of the window when I was told that they were running late, and then again after the window of time had passed and was told that they were tied-up with problem calls. It was in the 60's today and will not go below freezing tonight so no emergencies, they just overbooked! This is not the first time that this situation has occurred. This used to be a wonderful company until D A Bennett took over!

Justin arrived at 8:00pm on Saturday evening and found evidence of further water contamination of the fuel oil.  This is the second time a service call was needed, but the problem was in the fuel tank, not the furnace.  Justin  removed water from the oil line and ran the furnace to confirm proper combustion.  Due to below freezing temperatures the furnace has run reliably for 72

 hours since the service call.  We are grateful for Justin's professional ability, good attitude and valuable help.

Fantastic service.  Jason was very helpful with options for solutions to replace our furnace and fix the ductwork in part of the house.  The installers (Justin, Jack, Frank, and Chris) were very professional and overall excellent.  They were very respectful to our home, cleaned up after the install, and did a great job.  Justin was especially great tweaking the solution to make sure it was the correct way to fix the ductwork needed in part of the home.  He also was very informative and went through everything in detail.  I am very happy with the service they provided!

Tech was on time and performed his duties fast and efficient.
I have been with this company for almost 4 years; they installed my boiler some years ago and continue to maintain it for us at resonable cost.
Scheduling is easy and tech know what they are doing.
Sales reps are also know their stuff.
Would recommend them.

My furnace kept going out and I needed to push the reset button. The furnace had just had a yearly maintenance. Roland J
Down's Service Manager came out himself, even though they they had to come out an additional two times. as the  problem  was intermittent  and difficult to diagnose, there wasn't any service charge. The Service Manager sent me a detailed report of my furnace repairs and Heating Performance Maintenance Schedule. I feel I am  more informed about the work done on my furnace. I certainly have more confidence in this company. I have been a customer of Roland J down for over 30 Years and was becoming extremely dissatisfied in the recent years. I believe this company has taken great strides in improving their services and  customer relations.

The plumber responding to the call was very nice but a bit chatty if you are paying by the hour. The cost of replacing an outside faucet - which took about 45 minutes - was excessive. Over $400.  I thought the $99 "roll up fee" was a minimum payment but it was an ADD ON.  In all, good work, way too expensive
