The work went well on both occasions. The workers were polite and they worked well with each other to get the work done efficiently and correctly the first time. They were accommodating. They cut some limbs off of an oak tree that were scraping on the tiles. The volunteered to do it; I didn't have to ask them.

The first job was done and I was satisfied with the work. They never showed up for the second job and it contributed to an ice dam problem this winter. They did send me a bill for the entire service in the fall but I said that I would pay when the whole job was done and I was satisfied. When I called about the snow on the roof they showed up the same day and did the work. They didn't clear the front walk after they covered it with the snow off the roof but maybe I needed to ask them to do the work. I contacted them because of their good reviews on Angie's list. They are very busy and my small job probably dropped through the cracks. I am planning on using them again. Things happen and even though I didn't give them the highest rating, I am willing to give them another try.

We've used Cousins Construction for about 4 years now and found them to be dependable, efficient, cost effective and easy to work with. They usually go above and beyond what's expected, clean up when they finish and actually talk to you and tell you what's going on. They are our "go to" roofer and we will continue using them. They are always available in case of emergency and we really appreciate that.

Competitive price. Good installation. There was a problem and they made sure they fixed it.

The crew took their job very seriously, and came through on all promises. In addition,my hey stopped to consult with us about other options for our rof, gutters, and basement door. They were methodical, careful, and cleaned up after themselves. Jason is a peach to work with.

It was easy to work with Cousins. They were prompt and professional and completed the work in a timely fashion. Delivered roofing materials with a crane to a 200 yr old building in Albany. Cleaned up after their work. They were conscientious that the building they were working on is historic and used materials that would work well with what we have. I would use them again for business or personal use.

All work was done above and beyond my expectations and below cost of what a number of other bids came in at.

Roof only took one day, they showed up with no less than 30 guys, maybe more. Kept me updated throughout the day. Very efficient. It was the day we were supposed to get a snowstorm, so they worked fast! Windows- 2 men came to do those, they explained what they were doing as they were doing it. Due to weather, they had to come back to finish caulking. It was raining, so they could not do it all in one day. I only gave a "B" for responsiveness because there were a few times we called about scheduling and it took a couple of days to get a call back, but they ALWAYS called. We did not make a call that we did not get a response to. This would not stop us from using them again.

They did a good job. There was a little bit of delay, but once they started the work, they did it in one day, and they cleaned up after themselves. They were very professional, and did a great job. I would recommend them. I compared their price with several other companies and they were competitive.

Went over all the work that was to be done. Took his time and covered all the details. . I had a limited budged and could not afford to have the work done.

Jason gave me a detailed quote at a good price, and spent time with me explaining job options and his company history, which gave me a better idea about the job they would accomplish (unlike other quotes I had gone through). His workers were skilled, efficient and friendly, taking time to answer questions I had through the process. His aluminum trim installer, Rob, is a skilled artist in covering window, door, soffit and facia flawlessly and really took care to form lapped bends and apply quality caulk to all seams to prevent water intrusion. He was able to build out the window frames, and apply mitered aluminum cladding, which I preferred over the recessed look, so common with vinyl siding. I consider myself a stickler on details, and the only thing I might have had done differently is brand color match the trim coil to the siding or vinyl windows (the aluminum trim is a cooler white than the siding). The majority of other houses in my neighborhood are this way too, so it's no big deal ? I'm just overly observant about details. The workers picked up the debris at the end of every day and left the property spotless (I did pick up a stray roofing nail in a tire, even though a magnet roller was used). I recommend Cousins, and will certainly hire them again when the need arises.

The actual cousins and some of their long term people are excellent. I was very happy with what they did. Unfortunately there was a death in the family before they actually finished, and so the work got done by their backup people, who were not of the same caliber. We had nails left on the ground, and metal on the ground, and there was a squirrel that walked on the socket, and we called them, and he was dismayed about how much was left on the ground. I don't feel like it was their normal service, because the death was of the guy who taught them how to do everything. Their price was a little high.

Cousin's weren't the lowest bid but had the best reputation so we went with them. They did a great job, did it cleanly and performed in a day and a half.

Rueben showed on time and was very professional and courteous in his service. I would definitely recommend Cousins Construction to others due to the quality of service that was provided to me.

I called on behalf of my mother who is in her 80"s. This company did work for us last year and my mother was very comfortable with them. From the first contact on the phone, the rep that came to the house, and the worker that came to do the repair- we are so pleased! They all went out of their way to be kind and professional with my mother, and to work with our timing. Will call no one else in the future but Cousins.

Excellent experience

I would highly recommend Cousins Construction. They were the only company we contacted for a roof leak issue that actually returned our calls and showed up. The owner (Jason) is very nice, professional and willing to help. The prices are higher than others, however, I think with something as important as a house roof, you get what you pay for. They used very high quality parts and provided a very good labor warranty. I would absolutely call them to do more work for our home (although I hope not too for a long time :)

Cousins is an exceptional company. They are punctual and professional.The roofing part of the job was completed in one day. The siding was completed on the second day. A small army of workers tackled the roof... at least 15 guys working like a well oiled machine. The quality of the work was very good, and the clean-up after was perfect. I would highly recommend this company.

The owner came over. We were having a leak in the middle of a storm, he was very polite and helpful but ended up not completing the extra repairs. It was raining and he came and fixed it with no problems.

Roof looks great. It was completed very quickly. Reasonable price.

I chose Cousins Construction due to the numerous favorable reviews. I called for an estimate on having gutters and downspouts installed in the back of my house, as well as for repairs to rotted wood under my sliding door to the deck. Within a couple of days a guy named Pat showed up who appeared to be very competent and professional and he gave me a reasonable price for the work to be done. I signed off on the provided estimate and was told that someone would get back to me shortly to schedule the job. So far, so good... After waiting two weeks with no reply, I called Cousins to inquire as to when my job would be performed. The receptionist said that the manager was out of town and would call back after a few days. A few more days passed with no reply so I called again and got the manager who said he had a note on his desk and was "just about to call me". He said they would arrive at 10 AM on the following Monday to do the work, but they ended up calling me that day just before noon to cancel out (due to a mix-up in day care services for two of their workers). They rescheduled for the following day after I told them I'd make arrangements with my office to work from home. The next day arrives and another no-show and no phone call. I called again and was told they "might" show up late afternoon or early evening. I asked if that was enough time to install the gutters and do the repair work but they said they didn't realize there was repair work to be done. I said it was stated on the work agreement which he eventually found and then responded back to me "well, how about tomorrow then ?". I told him I couldn't take a second day in a row working away from the office and we rescheduled for the following week. That day arrived with another no-show and no phone call. In all my years dealing with contractors, I've never seen a company so unprofessional and so blatantly disrespectful of their customers. While I can understand cancellations and having to reschedule is a normal part of business, simply blowing off your customer three times in a row with not even a 30 second courtesy phone call is completely unacceptable. I am baffled by the numerous good reviews they've received from other customers. Perhaps they overbook and give priority to the bigger ticket jobs, I'm not sure, but they shouldn't be stringing their customers along and keep them waiting for weeks for workers who are no-shows. After I called one last time to officially cancel the job, they didn't even bother to offer an explanation for their repeated no-shows. Take my advice....stay away from these folks !

Their communication wasnt very good on when they would start the job and the office staff and owners didnt seem to be in sync. the day they started got off to a rocky start because they went to a wrong address across town. The quality of the work however was good, Unfortunately I didn't know they were done and that they left. They didn't pick up the check and they left a valuable ladder at my house. I heard from owners a week later and they picked up the ladder and check. Bottom line, while their workers need more supervision, their price was fair, the owners present well, and the work was good.

My fianc? and I were looking to have our Touwnhouse roof replaced and we selected Cousins Construction because they were the most professional and responsive. Upon arrival the team tarped around the outside of our town house and covered the A/C before removing any old shingles. They then started the process of removing the old shingles and they had workers on the ground picking up the old debris as it was coming off the roof. The process of installing the new shingles was a quick process and when they finished the back side of the house another crew started working on the seamless gutters. When they removed a section of the old gutters there was a section of siding missing. They even replaced the broken piece of siding! After all of the work was done the Cousin's team meticulously cleaned any debris and nails. I would highly recommend Cousins Construction for roofing or seamless gutters. A++

Price was good, they did the job quickly, but I had one issue. When they tore up the old roof and threw the old debris down, they marked up the siding on my house and neighbor's house. They cleaned up my siding, but after they left, I saw they'd left black marks on my neighbor's house. I painted over his metal siding myself. They should be a little more careful when they're tearing the old roof off.
