Description of Work: Replaced roof. More detailed estimate than other contractors. Gave proof of insurance and insurance company's phone number without asking. Arrived early to start job and finished in one day. Very courteous; good cleanup

Description of Work: An answering machine message was left, describing needed gutter work and requesting a call back. This company had put a new roof on my house about two years ago. An office person called back slightly longer than a week and a half later; I had already had another local company respond, come out to spec the job and give a quoted price and contract.

Description of Work: They removed and replaced a roof section. The section was metal and I had it replaced with composite to match the rest of the home. Problems were found and pictures were sent to me (I was travelling that day) and options presented. The only issues I had were they were not quite as good as I would like in their communications between the office and me around scheduling, but that did not distract from their work. Overall they were great to work with and I recommend them to anyone. Their quote for the entire section was about the same as another quote for only a portion (about half) of the replacement area. I have no as yet been given the final bill but I am not expecting any surprises.

Description of Work: They put new room on flat roof on dormer, and 2 spots where soffit was damaged, and added gutter to front of house. The workers were good but had trouble contacting the company to get remainder of work scheduled. They were prompt after scheduling and completed work in a timely fashion.

Description of Work: Repaired fascia board, replaced storm damaged gutters, added downspout.

Description of Work: Hired to replace roof, reflash, replace soil pipe boots, install gutters, replace damaged wood and siding. |CC Did NOT complete the job and did substandard work on siding. Gutters not installed, siding was extremely sloppy workmanship, soil boot replacement was not done. |I called the owner to come back and take a look at the work and tell me what he thought. He acknowledged the siding was not good, "he didn't love it" and that he would have the crew take care of the work when they came back to complete the job within a week or so... Gave him an opportunity to quote additional siding work as long as the crew was coming back to fix up the other siding they had done. They never came back to finish the job OR to correct the poor workmanship done on siding. |The biggest issue I have is that the job was never completed and I never received any contact back from the owner after I tried to reach him. The gutters and soil pipe boots were not done... |The second issue is the first course of siding was removed to flash and when it was reinstalled it was not spaced correctly, it was damaged (split), exposed nails and holes, not caulked in places and other places excessively... |The shingle itself looked OK and the work was done quickly but this doesn't outweigh the poor experience I had with the other points noted above. |I believe the underlying problem was due to the company being very busy in Amsterdam area and wanting to move onto other projects. The owner and crew were polite but at the end of the day I didn't receive what I contracted for and I did not get a response back after I reached out. |

Description of Work: Replaced most of my roof, added zinc strips to new roof to prevent moss, replaced two skylights, removed old gutters. Their estimator showed up as scheduled but I had a hard time getting them to answer a couple of questions about the proposed contract. Finally got that straight, including getting the $200 credit promised in the Angie's coupon. Their work was great but strangely they just descended on me on a Monday with no warning, somehow failing to let me know they were coming! Fortunately I could adjust to get them started and reassure myself that the crew would follow the contract, before I had to leave for much of the day. They were extremely conscientious about clean up. Not sure how their price compared because the other contractor I asked for a price never gave me one. I trusted their price because of good ratings on Angie's list and by looking up what a roofing job about 15 years ago had cost me.

Description of Work: COUSINS CONSTRUCTION replace the roof and a lot of the decking on the main part of my house. They had the best price and I was so very happy with the quality of work I had the come back the following year to do the garage and another small roof on anther part of the house. I have had no problems since they did the roof.

Description of Work: they ( all 13 workers ) arrived on time 7:30 am and started right away , even the job supervisor was up there , there were 2 ground people whose entire job was to keep my property , walkways , deck, flowergardens , shurbs clean , they did not take any coffee breaks stopped for about 40 minutes for lunch at 12:30 then back up on the roof , they acted like a well oiled machine every one knew what the had to do & did it . Their degree of professionalism and attention to detail was Spot on |they were friendly but never took their mind or attention off the task at hand , they finished as they said by 7 pm , as the job wined down a number of them came down an aided the 2 ground people but still at least 7 up there doing the roofing , the cleanup was excellent , the roof looks great and they gave me a 5% discount for telling them I used Angies list to find them , U should also know there was no money given to them till they showed up to work and then half once the job was done & I WAS HAPPY with the job they took the other half minus my $ discount ( $ 592 ) . Their bid was competive , and the fact they could get the job done in 1 day was amazing , other smaller groups were any where 3 to 7 days . Again watching the way they worked , taking rotaing 5 minute water breaks and not stopping till lunch was trully amazing , I only wish i had more work for them

Description of Work: Flat roof and gutters. There was an issue with reinstalling our awnings. However Jason was very responsive and did more than I expected to resolve the problem.

Description of Work: Repaired flashing and shingles that were allowing water to leek into the all season room (back porch). The work crew was professional and performed excellent work. They seemed very knowledgeable and were very thorough in their approach. They removed all materials and the clean up was as though they were never there. I can't say enough about the crew.

Description of Work: New roof due to hail damage... They did a great job! The roof looks great...did everything they said they were going to do... The cleanup was great and they were very professional and careful of our property and belonging around the house.

Description of Work: Went very well. Completed everything as promised.striped original roof shingles and replaced new shingles in one day early December . Removed debris and cleaned up.also replaced flashing and installed air circulation at peak. Then in may applied two coats of special paint on metal roof at other end of house. Came back to finish touch ups. Also painted trim on house that was very high and difficult to get to. They also double checked the shingle roof done in December from inside Attic.professional and easy to talk to. Excellent performance.

Description of Work: Cousins Construction gave us an estimate to fix a fascia and replace the window.

Description of Work: Replaced a flat rubber roof, removed a chimney that was no longer needed, repaired and replaced some aluminum siding. They did a great job, the only issue was that it took a while to get them there to do it, presumably because they're so busy due to their good work.
