I thought their price could have been a little more reasonable. I was impressed with the company. They were good and I will use them again. I think I would recommend them to my friends and family members. I had a similar job done a few years ago. It was done by another company and it looked like they just did it right the first time. My system was not working right and they fixed it, and I haven't had any problems since. There really wasn't much cleanup because it was in the basement. I didn't have anything to complain about.

I got them off of Angie's List. It was a positive experience. I had no complaints. They cleaned up after themselves. I had several estimates and there were a wide range of estimates. There was over $2000 difference. If I had gone with one of the cheaper companies, I probably would have had a lot of problems. I got what I paid for from Alan.

I had no Heat in the house, I called and they came right away. They were very professional, took the time to investigate and explain what was causing the problem. I would highly recommend them and will use them again.

He was terrific and fantastic. He left the job clean. He worked together with the cesspool company. I liked everything about him. He was prompt and considerate with my plants. He was on time which is the most important thing. The price was competitive. He was excellent all the way across. He got in and out, got the job done and he was gone.

He installed the boiler the year before and put the pump later. He did a pretty good job.

This work was completed at the home of my 83 year old mother. Mr. Gross and his son were extremely polite and patient while explaining information. They were punctual in returning phone calls. They started and completed the boiler and water heater installation as promised in one day. As they completed the job they were very respectful of my mother's home and cleaned up after themselves. Due to some questions that my mother had, Mr. Gross spoke to me by phone and sent his son back to my mother's home to resolve an issue. They were extremely helpful. I recommend them highly and would use them again.

Very well. The men arrived promptly and completed the job within 30 minutes. I was shown what had been done and an explanation as to the necessity of the change of parts was given. I am very happy with the service that was provided. I had a bad experience the past week with a large company with unifromed technicians who needed two trips to complete a simple job, and charged two service fees. I was also informed of the leak at that time and that it would cost $375 to fix. I decided to try this smaller company named after the owner hoping for an honest company and I feel I received what I had hoped for.

Saw water leaking from boiler relief valve. Called Dale last nite, He came this am and quickly diagnosed the problem and fixed it. He also upgraded the equipment so as to minimize the possibility of a recurring problem. Could not ask for better service.

After getting negative response from 2 other company's (because no one likes to work with steam boilers) I called Allen he came over the same day I called and looked over the job. Within 2 days I received a written estimate. I thought it to be a fair price. They were at my house within a weeks time. They showed up exactly at the time they said and worked all day until 3:30 when they finished installation then stayed another 30 minutes cleaning up inside and out. I would hire them in a NY minute. They were also very polite. I am very pleased with my new boiler. Oh one more thing they have been in business for 30 years and it is a father and son business.

Prompt response and estimate by Dale (owner). Suggested step by step process for most economical results. Arrived as scheduled and completed work ahead of schedule and under estimate. Couldn't have been better.

I used Alan Gross Plumbing and Heating in October 2008 to convert from oil to gas heat. The workers were very reliable and efficient and the workmanship was excellent. Dale, the lead man, never took a break during the entire ten hour installation and called me the next day to make certain that I was satisfied with the workmanship. He came back to fine tune the boiler to make it even more efficient for no additional charge. I used Dale again just last week to deal with an unrelated water issue in my basement. He solved the problem and installed a special pump at a very reasonable cost. Again, he worked non stop and called the next day to check on the status of the work. I would never consider using any other company for my plumbing and heating needs.

I was very impressed with this company. The owner who did the estimate was prompt and thorough. He recommended equipment and helped coordinate the conversion with the gas company. The technicians arrived on time as promised and spent nearly two days working on the conversion without any significant breaks. They also did additional work without charge and were very good at explaining all procedures to me. They cleaned up thoroughly when finished. I highly recommend this company.

A WONDERFUL JOB WAS DONE ON THE BATH IMPROVEMENTS. THE WORK WAS DONE WITH NO COMPLICATIONS. THE NEW BATH TOILET AND SINK WORK GREAT. THE VANITY LOOKS GOOD IN THE BATH.
