"Teresa's Family Cleaning enters any home the first time on a by the hour basis. The reason is because every home is different based on the size, requests from customers and condition of the home. In the case of (member name removed)'s home, she requested in and out of everything. The cleaning crew cleaned in and out of all cabinets in kitchen and bathroom, closets and of course cleaning of the rest of the home. This does take time especially if it hasn't been cleaned in a while. The cleaning crew arrived at 10:19am and left at 5:21pm for a total of 7 hours. We did only charge (member name removed) for 6 hours. When our customer called the office to express some things she was not happy with, we did tell her we would send a crew back to the home to fix whatever she wasn't happy with. We strive to make sure all of our customers have a good experience and that is why we will always send a crew back to fix and issues free of charge of course. (Member name removed) refused the crew to come back and requested a refund. It was explained to her that our policy is to send the crew back and again she refused. I am attaching a copy of the GPS report showing the amount of time the crew was in the home, and a copy of our consent of policies. We tried to resolve the issue with (member name removed) and it was out of our hands if both parties agree to disagree. We in no way "wasted" time in her home just so we can charge her that amount of money. All the crews go out with a full day of houses to clean, but they are trained to stay in the home until the job is completely finished."
"As stated in (deleted member name) opening sentence, we were hired by her contractor MJQ Home Improvements, not her directly. All our dealings were with (deleted name) not the (deleted member name). (deleted name) saw our house cleaning crew across the street from the Evans summer home and called our office. An estimate was given to him over the phone based on the information given to us by (deleted name) of MJQ stating this was a post construction clean up of general dusting, vacuuming, mopping etc. and we were also informed the construction job was completed. The job was never physically assessed prior to our crews arrival. The crew arrived as scheduled to the job site that was not completed and there was a layer of sand on the floors that required heavy construction commercial cleaning equipment. The crew informed the contractor that this is not what was on their job sheet, and the contractor told them to stay and do the best that they could do. During that time (deleted name) left the job site. When the crew finished the job they contacted (deleted name) via cell to have him come back and view and sign off on the job, he told the crew to leave. And that’s exactly what the crew did. We also sent the crew back the following day after speaking with the contractor who was STILL working on the house, to try and finish mopping up the now muddy floors, again doing the best that we could do under the circumstances. (deleted name) was NOT charged on our return visit. Please note that (deleted member name) was NOT our customer, but her contractor was, and we were not obligated to speak with her at all. She was calling to complain (not her contractor) to us about the work and wanted us to return again. We invoiced MJQ Home improvements and were paid by them, not by (deleted member name). Our cleaning company has been in business since 1993-MJQ Home Improvements has been in business since April 14th, 2010. We have never had any issues with any general contractor in a post construction clean up- We are the cleaning company that volunteers for Habitat of Humanity of Suffolk County post construction clean ups for almost 10 years- getting the newly built homes cleaned and ready for move in day for first time homeowners."
"The customer called to say she was unhappy with the services. We offered to return and fix anything she was unhappy with this. That is the company policy. She refused for them to return to the home. This customer did do a walk through of the home after the services were completed stating that she was happy with the services provided to her on 9/18/2010."
"I WOULD LIKE TO REPLY TO THE MEMBERS REPORT ON BEING DISSATISFIED WITH THE COST OF THE CLEANING. WHEN SHE CALLED AND BOOKED THIS JOB SHE GAVE A DESCRIPTION OF THE HOME TO MY SECRETARY. A 4 BEDROOM/ 2.5 BATHROOM 2 LEVEL HOME WITH 2 ADULTS/ 2/CHILDREN AND 2/DOGS. THIS IS A BUSY HOUSEHOLD AND SHE WAS TOLD THE HOUSE COULD TAKE ANYWHERE FROM 2.5 TO 3.5 HOURS THE FIRST TIME INTO THE HOME. THERE IS A 2 HOUR MINIMUM THE FIRST TIME INTO THE HOME AND WE ARE $85.00 DOLLARS PER HOUR PLUS TAX. SHE WAS ALSO TOLD THAT THIS IS AN APPROXIMATE ESTIMATE AND IT COULD TAKE LESS OR MORE THAN THE 2.5, 3.5 HOURS WE QUOTED HER DEPENDING ON THE CONDITION OF THE HOME AND THE AMOUNT OF KNICK KNACKS THROUGHOUT THE HOME. THE MEMBER'S HOME DID TAKE 4.5 HOURS TO CLEAN. WHEN WE ARRIVED AT THE HOME TO CLEAN IT, HER HUSBAND DID SIGN OUR CONSENT TO POLICIES WHICH STATES THAT WE ARE $85.00 PER HOUR PLUS TAX. WHEN SHE ARRIVED AT THE HOME AT THE END ON THE JOB, SHE DID WALK IN AND SAY THE HOUSE LOOKED GREAT AND SHE WAS HAPPY WITH THE SERVICES. IN NO WAY DID WE TRY TO TRICK HER INTO USING OUR COMPANY AND THEN TAKE ADVANTAGE OF HER. MY BOOKING AGENT DID EVERYTHING SHE WAS SUPPOSED TO DO BOOKING THIS JOB. I DON'T KNOW WHERE THE MEMBER GOT THE IDEA THAT IT WOULD ONLY TAKE $200.00 THE FIRST TIME INTO THE HOME. ESPECIALLY A HOME THAT IS 4 BEDROOMS, 2.5 BATHROOMS, 2 LEVELS WITH 2 ADULTS, 2 CHILDREN AND 2 DOGS OCCUPYING IT. MY CREWS RUN IN TEAMS OF 2 AND OUR SERVICE IS BUILT ON QUALITY WORK."
