The job was well done and done neatly. I only have one complaint....the maple that was cut down was a 'town tree' that was planted by the developer back in 1969 when my house was new. Many of these maples have become sickly over the years due to the stress that is put on them regarding where they were planted, road salt, etc. I hated to see the tree go but when a very large healthy - appearing branch fell missing a parked car by inches I knew that it was time for the tree to come down. I never thought to call the town....that was just dopey on my part. So, I called Sunburst. Matt came over to give me an estimate which was $750 w/o the stump being ground down. The job was done. After the tree came down my neighbor came to tell me that that was a town tree and that they would've taken it down for FREE! The complaint that I have is that Matt should have told me that this is a town tree and that I should call the town to have it assessed. Maybe the town wouldn't have taken it down because it was still leafy...but at least I wouldn't have had to pay to have it removed. I know businesses are out to make a profit, of course they are, but I think that something should have been said. I also think that the stump should have been ground down along with the tree being taken down. Maybe I should have pushed for that to be included. Anyway, I spoke with the owner who told me that the tree was a danger as it was losing limbs and could've caused some damage, which is true....but STILL it would've been NICE to let me know that this was a town tree....he said that it sometimes takes the town a while to come out and assess trees and that this tree was a clear danger....but I could've parked the car elsewhere while waiting for the town..... .....

I have used them for the last seven years and they are great. I have a backyard full of hemlock trees, so I am not generally comfortable giving the price. They are environmentally friendly. I would use them again in the future.

Excellent customer service.

They were very good. It was a positive experience. They were prompt, and they did what I asked them to do.

They did a very good job. They cleaned up after themselves and did stump grinding as well. Their price was excellent. They were right on time.

Prompt service. Slightly high estimate. Knowledgeable provider who gave useful advice. Ultimately, I did not use this company as a few other reputable companies offered more work for less money.

Overall, from start to finish they did an excellent job. The only complaint I have is that I noticed part of the stump that was grinded is still there. I have not contacted them regarding this. I will have to chop it with a hatchet or chainsaw since it would break my lawn mower. I work a lot and did not notice this until a few days ago.

The guy from Sunburst Tree Experts Inc. who came to give me the estimate was very good and professional. He was very expensive and was out of my budget. He said the reason he is a little more expensive is because he gives good service and I believe him. I liked that he was punctual and knowledgeable. He was very responsive. He came within the window of time that he said he would. He called back right away within 24 hours of my original phone call. I would probably use his service in the future.

A very professional large team of men arrived. Given instructions, the team foreman set his crew to work. They were very safety conscious, and took away all the debris, even raking the lawn carefully before leaving. At one point I made a suggestion that a couple of lower branches be removed, and they cheerfully complied. I have used this company before and will no doubt use them again.

After looking at reports of prices, I had guessed the aolanthus bid should be in the neighborhood of $500 to $750 -- it was a bit above the upper end of that range, but I went ahead without getting a second bid. Four or five workman were here for about two and a half hours -- took care of everything very neatly and professionally. No complaints. Also no complaints about responsiveness/timeliness -- my phone call was picked up on first try, guy showed up to give me the bid exactly when he said he would, and workers showed up to do the work exactly when they said they would.

They were a little expensive. They gave us the quote within a couple of days of me calling them. The guy was really nice but it was just a little more expensive than my budget. I don't want to endorse the guy because he didn't actually do the work. He could have been on time and professionalism could have been good and he might not have done good work, we don't know that. He might have been great also at the same time; I don't want to say he might have been bad only. He might have been bad, he might have been great or he might have been average. So, I don't want to endorse him without having actually used him; just because I got an estimate from him, it isn't an endorsement for the quality of his work.

Crew arrived on time. and Carl was there to review the plan with them. The entire group worked quickly and professionally the entire time they were there. there were literally no traces they were on the property save for the pieces I intended to utilize for firewood. Cuts were done according to accepted practice, and with care. The result was that we now have a healthier stand of trees and will receive more light on the property, a major goal. We were quite happy with the work performed and would recommend this company to anyone.

They described the process, were knowledgeable about their field, had the right equipment and did the job promptly.

Matt was extremely accommodating. He was at my home at 7:45 a.m. for the estimate as requested. He walked the grounds with me explaining important aspects of trim trimming and care. He was very knowledgeable. He is licensed and insured. His company has memberships in many arbor-cultural societies and associations. His crew (6 guys) arrived at my house on time with large equipment. The trees were removed and the wood stacked. He put the chips exactly were I wanted them. I did not have to pay him a dime until satisfied with the work. On his invoice he also suggested what other arboreal work could be done - work that I know should be done so he wasn't just drumming up more business. I would highly recommend Sunburst.

Working with this company was an excellent experience. My inquiry called was returned within 24 hours. Within 24 hours of that, Carl was on site to determine the work that needed to be done to keep the tree healthy. He pointed out trouble areas of the tree and explained what would be done. He provided a quote and described what would happen when the crew arrived. He shared his credentials and showed proof of insurance. The crew arrived as scheduled and performed the work professionally. They cleaned up as they worked and left everything in excellent order. I appreciate that the crew also treated each other professionally as I've had experience with other service crews not doing so.

THEY DID A GOOD JOB AND ARE COMPARABLE IN PRICING. THEIR QUALITY IS GOOD. THEY HAD TO RACK LEAVES BEFORE THEY COULD TRIM. THEY CLEANED UP THE YARD AND CAME ON TIME. IT WAS A GOOD EXPERIENCE.

THEY WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL AND FAST! IT TOOK THEM ONE DAY TO COMPLETE THE SERVICE. FOUR VERY NICE PEOPLE CAME OUT TO DO THE JOB AND EVERYTHING LOOKS GREAT.

THW SALESMAN GAVE ME AN ACCURATE ESTIMATE OF THE PRICE OF THE JOB. THE WORK WAS DONE PROFESSIONALLY. ALL OF THE DEBRIS WAS REMOVED AND YOU WOULD NEVER KNOW THE WORKERS HAD BEEN IN THE YARD.
