The technician was very helpful, informative and honest. He warned us that he might have to replace the motor for the blower, but tried replacing just the capacitor for it first (as that would save us quite a bit of money). The capacitor did the trick. He was very courteous, respectful and speedy, saving us even more money.

I was impressed that he gave his whole staff off for Christmas and he did a great job at my home. They were very fair priced.

The women answering the phone was very efficient, called me back in less than 1 hour to let me know the technician would arrive within one hour, technician arrived in less than 1 hour. He diagnosed the problem, fixed the problem and provided guidance on how to avoid it in the future.

Our boiler is a very old coal conversion. It had been red-tagged (taken out of service) by Rochester Gas and Electric because of a gas leak. The technician came the very next morning after I called; he was very knowledgeable and efficient.

Original install went well. About a year later satisfied with the furnace and AC units operation - although, ignore the claims of the "tons" of money you will save with a new, hi efficiency furnace, as I figured, was exaggerated.
The reason for the low marks - after the original install service. When we noticed the water heater was not performing as it should (my son visited and suggested that it the cold dip tube was defective or broken.) I called and talk to them about it. They agreed it might be the cold dip tube. They sent a repair person out to fix it, did nothing but show up and tell me it wasn't the water heater and left - and charged me $89 for the service call.
I called and asked about the charge I was told any warranty labor on the water heater was not covered. Fair enough - however the annual maintenance call to "Tune up" the AC and furnace which costs $120 -200 a year - well, I'll be going without that. If I need any work done, I'll find another heating contractor. Yes, the annual "Tune up" where they try to sell you a furnace filter for $50, which can be purchased at Home Depot or the internet for $20.

I give them an A+

The sales guy was honest and reasonable, which is less than I can say for a certain "big" heating contractor. Feldman was extremely fast. They had 4 guys here working over just two days to get this done. All the work was great except for one minor issue with the humidifier on one of the furnaces.

Frank, the salesperson, showed up on time and gave us his expert advice. After we scheduled a work date, the installers showed up on the date and at the time promised, and finished the job in one day in cold muddy conditions. Everyone involved was pleasant and professional.

They've been very good. They have been very responsive. They were very fair priced for their service. They have come out whenever we've had a question. They have also cleaned the furnace on a yearly basis and they have always been professional about it. We were very satisfied with them. I think the owner is Dave Feldman. They replaced an 18 furnace with an energy efficient furnace and added an air conditioning unit which the house did not have. They also provide cleaning for the furnace with a separate charge every year. They've always been very professional and responsive if we've had any questions or issues. They have always been very prompt in answering and very thorough. I thought that their price was very fair and comparable to all the other contractors that we had bids from.

I first met with Frank, their sales rep, and he walked me through the process of purchasing my new HVAC system. He provided multiple quotes for the different systems they offer and helped me make a determination on the best fit for my home and budget. On installation day, the install team (I had Russ and Jim) showed up on time, were courteous and professional, and stayed on task and performed excellent work. I'm very happy with the overall results and experience.

Within 24 hours of the installation, there was water under the furnace. After a service call, it was determined the water was left from the installation, which I believed since the work area had not been cleaned. Within 48 hours there was more water. After a 2nd service call the water pump was replaced and re-routed. Six months later, the air conditioning did not work (the air was not replaced), I was told the Freon was low. After $300 service call, I complained that the Freon was compromised with the furnace install and I was told then if I had an issue with the air in the summer to call and it would be part of the installation and warranty. Feldman was very good about following up and refunding the service call. October 2010 water was under the furnace again, another service all, another part was replaced and the venting to the water pump was redone. As of February 2011 I have not had any further issues to report but I do not trust the installation of the unit and worry about Summer 2011 and the air conditioner although I will comment the servicemen sent to my home all were professional and courteous.

The company was prompt in responding to our needs and competitive with pricing. They also provided an abundance of extra filters for the whole system. The work began the same week we decided to use their company and the workmen were professional and courteous. We would hire this company again.

arrived on time. performed tune up in a timely fashion. answered all our questions about our heating and cooling system being that we are new home owners.

This team was excellent every step of the way. They were great about returning phone calls; showed up when they said they would. They did a tremendous amount of work in one day, installing new venting, a new thermostat, cleaning up ductwork in addition to the new furnace. They had all the tax documents ready for us to submit for the tax credit, and left the place neat and clean when work was done.

They are very professional, responsive and their prices are reasonable.

The heat pump failed resulting in a high electricity bill [We have all-electric heating in Perinton.] because of the full-time operation of the auxiliary heater in the air handler. However, the blower motor started to fail on a weekend so the system had to be turned off. We relied on some space heaters from friends for a few days. We contacted several local companies with high Angie's List and Better Business Bureau ratings. All provided prompt estimates. Although Feldman was $126 higher than the next one, they were able to install the system the next day. The other company couldn't install it until a week later, a long time to wait without heat in the winter! The crew from Feldman was Frank, Russ, Rick, Wayne, and Angus. They were professional, friendly, and prompt. It was no simple task to replace the entire system, but they did it in a day. They also didn't mind while I watched, asked questions, and took photos.

The serviceman arrived promptly, cleaned and checked the furnace and replaced the air filter. He helpfully answered all questions I had regarding the performance and maintenance of the furnace.

I was pleased with the people from Feldman that I dealt with. Frank Guidice, the salesman, was pleasant and thorough, and the installation team of Rick, Chris, and Andy were professional and speedy. They spent a long day on the job. It was messy work, but they made an effort to contain the mess and cleaned up pretty well when they were done. (I wish I had thought to close the door between my basement and the rest of the house while they were working, to keep out the sooty dust!) Apparently because this was a slow time for them, they were able to schedule the installation for the very next day, after I called to commit to their proposal. Pretty fast turnaround!

The tech was actually early, he was equipped for the job and performed it well.

The technician did a very thorough job of inspecting and cleaning the A/C and furnace, including removing a dead bird from the furnace. I thought the price was fairly reasonable for the amount of work involved and would use them again.

We have used Feldman Dave Heating & Cooling in the past. We are very pleased with their work. We will continue to use them and would recommend them.
