My furnace was installed last year and this was it's first cleaning. He arrived on time and completed the work in less than 45 minutes. All gas lines were tagged and labeled for easy identification. This is the first time in my 45 years experience as a homeowner that this has been done!
Some useful recommendations were given, that I'll follow up on. I'd absolutely use them again in the future.

I found out my heater stopped working when it got cold in the house! Called Taylor, they came out, found the problem, and fixed it same day, in about 2-3 hours. Very courteous staff. When they left the heat was back on and I haven't had a problem since.

We have been using him since 18 years.  We have a yearly maintenance agreement with them.  They made sure that the air conditioning and heating were working.  They are extremely thorough and fairly priced.   Every one of their maintenance people are very well in tune with their own company as well as the equipment that they are servicing.  They are very knowledgeable people.

They had to go a long distance to change the gas leak.  The way it was set up they had to disconnect the larger pipes.  They also put in two furnaces for me.  They don’t tell you 9 to 5.  They just give you an approximate time.  The guy who comes to your house will call you when he leaves the last house which is always nice instead of staying home for eight hours.

The service man from Taylor's was prompt and very friendly. He took the time to explain some things I didn't know about my furnace and filters (there is a humidifier filter in addition to my regular air filter). He also adjusted my humidifier settings as there was too much water and the vent was not properly opened. The only challenge with this is that we had very cold weather within a week and having had set the humidity to a higher level, I was getting lots of condensation on all of my windows and skylights. Thankfully, I put two and two together and figured out why that was happening. I called Taylor's and was told how to fix the problem myself and haven't had a problem since. Lesson learned and now I know. The service man also answered all of my questions, including a few plumbing questions, and was able to get some answers for me by making a few calls about a water cut off valve in my basement that is very corroded. Taylor's called me back within 24 hours with an estimate to do a repair on said valve.

I will certainly call Taylor's in the future and would recommend them.

When I called to schedule the Big Deal the receptionist kept me on hold for a unfashionably long time and when it finally came time to schedule she informed me that they were scheduling about a month out for that service.  I told her it was no good for me to have the service performed a month from now when winter is in full swing. I was not impressed.

"Member, I am sorry you had a bad experience with our company. I will speak with our customer service reps about leaving people on hold for any extended amount of time. This is not good customer service and I appreciate you bringing it to my attention so that we may work on correcting it. As for the scheduling issue this time of year is the busiest time of year in our industry. Routine maintenance is something that we do all year round. It is recommended that any gas furnace be serviced annually and as long as it is maintained properly it is not important as to when it should be done. If you had an issue with the equipment we would have been out the same day. No heat or emergencies do take priority over routine maintenance. There would however, have been an additional charge for that service.That would not have been the maintenance call that you purchased from Angie's list. I will try and be sure that the next time I run the offer we explain that the scheduling of the service may be delayed due to volume and emergencies. Again I thank you for your input. It will help our company grow in the right direction. If there is anything I could do to try and earn your business please let me know directly. It turns out my husband had cracked something when changing the filter so that had caused the leak. The technician was very friendly and helpful- fixed the situation quickly and charged us a fair price for the service call and labor.

All vents were taped off and a giant vacuum was used to pull dirt and debris out of the ducts. The ducts were then sanitized. The workers were polite and answered all of my questions. The house is older and the ducts have never been cleaned. They were very dirty. The cleaning did kick up some dust around the vent openings that needed to be cleaned.

We were very pleased with the work that was done and he kept everything clean while working. He wasn't in a rush to get the work done and he answered any questions that we had. I am sorry but I really don't remember the cost.
