The sales process with Rochester Appliance  was unforced but helpful and economical.  The weather here has been terrible.  We had purchased a new drier from Home Depot.  However, come the date of delivery there was a snowstorm so the contractor that they used canceled.  Rather than schedule for Tuesday, which would have worked for us they wanted to schedule delivery for a day and time which would not work.  They  were rude and unhelpful saying that we would have to wait a week for delivery.  We canceled the order with Home Depot.
  Delivery day came and the weather was bad, however the Rochester Appliance people cheerfully made the delivery as scheduled.  When they left we put  the drier to use.  It did not work.  We called and complained.  Within 10 minutes the owner of Rochester Appliance called and assured me that we would have a repairman there within an hour and that one way or another he would make it right.  45 minutes later the repairman arrived and within 15 minutes the drier was fixed.  Three weeks later the drier is working great and is the best drier that I have ever owned.

Nothing really to detail.  Technician arrived exactly when he said he would.  Diagnosed problem as a leaky waterline valve.  He had to order the part and he returned when he said he would and installed the new valve.  It took 5 minutes to diagnose the problem and about 15 to replace the valve when he returned.  Technician was very professional, courteous and prompt.  I was quite satisfied with the service although I thought the cost of the valve was pretty steep ($179 plus tax.)

We visited the show room and purchased the same day. Delivery was a few days later. They called to tell us when they would arrive, removed the old fridge and installed the one we purchased. The delivery went smoothly and we are happy. Especially happy about the warranty, which is much better than with other used appliance dealers in the past.

Kevin answered my initial phone call, listened to my concerns and scheduled an appointment for the next day.  John came to the house and worked on diagnosing the problem.  He worked efficiently and with care.  He needed to obtain a part and returned to finish the repair the following day.  I couldn't have been happier with the courtesy, promptness and efficiency of the whole process.

Called late on Friday and they came Monday after calling in the morning to give me a two hour window. Was on time and had the part in the truck. Had it fix in 20 minutes nice people all that I talked too.

He came at the end of the two our window. He didn't have the ice maker on his truck. He had to go get the ice maker. 30 minutes later he's back with an ice maker. Oopss! the wrong ice maker. Another 30 minutes and he's back with another one. The ice maker got changed and...........no ice. I called again and they promptly reschedule the same tech for another two days out, with a two hour window. After some troubleshooting an diagnosis he discovered that it was not the ice maker but a valve.  But a week had passed and the old (functioning) ice maker was now part of the landfill of Monroe county. In as much as the valve cost more than the ice maker, they asked for no credit and let both (new) components in place. As much as that was the right thing to do at least they did not go after additional charges for the new valve or unnecessary (new) ice maker. Throughout the entire evolution all of the people at Rochester appliance were courteous and straightforward. From a scheduling perspective they knew what they could commit to and they delivered on that. My frustration was the logistics on my end of coordinating a service call. I used AL because of the rating that these guys got inspite of the fact that I used another repair shop that always did a good job. It goes to show you (me) on a lot of levels; if it ain't broke don't fix (replace) it.

We ordered the new range with Ben's assistance and it was delivered two days later.   The delivery crew called to let us know when they were on the way so we were prepared when they arrived.  They removed the old range and installed the new range in less than half an hour.  They checked the stove and oven, confirmed everything was working properly and provided us with the manual and warranty information.  Overall, we were very pleased.

Everything went very well.  When my wife called, John was good enough to add us to that day's service appointments because we have a son who is sick and had several doctor's appointments in the next few days. John also said that if the cost to fix was too much,  the $45 service call could be used against the purchase of a new refrigerator.  Since Ben was able to fix the refrigerator for a reasonable amount we chose to do that.  This company went above and beyond  the call of duty to accommote us.  In addition, all their representative's are polite, competent, knowledgeable and accommodating.  The price was fair and we'll be using them for all our appliances in the future.
