I called at about 9 on a Saturday night because when I went into the basement i noticed a few puddles by the washer and dryer and thought my pipe was leaking. After turning on more lights i saw that there was a TON of water all over. and several inches of it! He arrived in about an hour (the roads were terrible and there was a no unnecessary travel warning) and saw that my sump pump had stopped working because the clay my house was built on got in the pipes and clogged it and blew the motor. He cleaned out the pipe and replaced the sump pump with a new one and stayed until the water was gone. It's worked great ever since. I panicked and thought i'd have to pay a LOT of money but it was reasonable. I will use them again when the time comes to hiring a plumbing company.

Excellent job by all workers involved, also used them later to update old shower fixures.

The guy was a nice guy. The gentlemen who came out said he had only worked for the company for a year.  Got the snake through and got the water to go through but it got plugged up again a few minutes later.  I knew the pipe was plugged but he did not think so as much.  After we worked on it, a pipe broke off that was full of grease.  There was really no aeration and that was frustrating because it could have helped.  The owner's son ended up writing off a check for $50.  The owner really should have overseen the process to make sure that it was smooth and easy.

Called Gatti on recommendations from Angie's list and coworkers. The woman that answers the phone for them is the best customer experience I've had with a repair service provider - truly priceless having someone that personable as the first experience with your company.  Called ahead before they arrived and were on time. Now everything is back to normal and flaming hot showers can be had once again. Will definitely use them again!

they were on time, courteous and fast. they had to come back a second time to fix the overall issue after the first fix didn't completly solve the problem. Instead of charging me fully for a seperate visit they tacked it on as part of the first visit. I would highly recommend Gatti plumbing to anyone.

They fixed the problem by replacing the pump with a new one. The float was hung up and they needed to come back and corrected the problem. I have used them several times and will use them again in the future.

Jim did a great job.. A pleasure to do business with. Answered all my questions and was very polite. My overall
experience with them was excellent.

I was doing laundry on Saturday and discovered the pump that pumps the water up and out of the stationary tub stopped working.  I called Gatti Plumbing and left a  message expecting to get a return call on Monday.  I was so surprised to get a call back  from a very nice woman Saturday afternoon to ask if I wanted someone to come out that same day.  I didn't need anything done until  Monday and made the appt for 8:30.  Mike L was here right on time and gave me a thorough estimate.(They call before they come to let you know they're on their way)  On Thursday Mike L and Jim came out and did  a GREAT job.  They were professional, courteous, neat , and explained exactly what they were doing and why.   I'm glad to have found such an honest, customer service driven company.  I highly recommend Gatti Plumbing

Didn't have hot water. Called the company (large national company)  I bought the water heater from 7 years ago; they were scheduling a week out for repair work. Didn't want to wait that long, called Gatti and they came the next day. The repairman was professional, prompt and competent. Made the repair and left the area clean.

My water tank was leaking and needed replacing. I called Gatti, a plumber came out the same day, I received a quote of $195 to install the water tank. I purchased the water tank from a different vendor and it was in the home before the plumber came. Everything was going well, except the plumber thought he turned off the main water line; however, it was still on and water came out of the line onto the laundry room floor. The plumber went to install the tank; however, he shorted two circuit breakers by not knowing about electrical which cost me an additional cost. The plumber played around with the electrical line for hour. The plumber gave me the bill in the amount of $397.00 to install a tank, I said I am not paying this amount as this was not what I was quoted. He mentioned that Gatti Plumbing would call me the following Monday to have their electrician contact me. I did not receive a courtesy call. My husband called and Gatti Plumbing informed him they are not in the electrical business and that we were on our own. The customer service stinks, I will never recommend nor do business with them ever again.

The work was excellent. The plumbers were polite, hardworking and thorough.

Excellent service.  Two people arrived right at the appointed time.  Had all the equipment and parts needed to complete the work.  Very courteous, explained what they were doing and why as they worked.  Knew exactly what to do.  Thorough and quick, not wasting any time.  All in all it was a pleasure to deal with Gatti from the initial telephone call until the work was completed.

Jim was wonderful - efficient and easy to talk to, discussed options before performing service. Gatti customer service was also great in setting up the apartment and providing a service window that didn't eat up my whole day.

I recently had some pluming work done by ?Gatti Plumbing.? I requested to have two of my old toilets replaced with two Toto high efficiency ?Entrada? toilets. They gave me a reasonable price quote and ordered them from VP supply for me. I had already picked them out at VP?s showroom. The plumber arrived about an hour or so late, but it was because he had run behind with another job. In all fairness to him, he did however keep in contact and advised me about his new arrival time.

I had specifically requested that the toilets be installed with the new flex steel mesh supply lines. The shut offs came from the floor rather than the wall and Toto toilets are a bit higher as they are ADA types. Needless to say the 12? flex lines that he brought did not reach from the water supply to the toilet. He had to go back to the shop to procure some new parts for the
supply lines. When he returned, I saw that he was using the old style steel tubing rather than the flex lines I had wanted. He said that they don?t stock the flex supplies longer than the 12? size. I wasn?t happy with that but then I noticed that to add insult to injury he had to splice the steel tubing with another piece leaving me with a compression fitting in the middle of each
supply tube! I realize that the plumber was doing the best that he could with what he had, but I felt that the job was becoming very much of a ?Rube Goldberg? mess. He did end up with some problems where the upstairs toilet was leaking at the supply, which he rectified. Also, the cost of the job turned out to be nearly $50 more than I was quoted. This entire job was not cheap, and I could have done it myself except for the fact that I have back problems, and can?t lift the toilets into place.

 I contacted Gatti Plumbing to let them know how I felt. Mr. Gatti called me back two days later. I explained the situation while he patiently listed to me. Mr. Gatti is very good listener. After I finished, he addressed each one of my issues. He said that the steel tubing is a much superior application than the flex steel mesh supplies. In fact some areas do not even allow their use, and the steel supply is used in commercial applications. He had to use the compression fittings because to keep cost down they can?t stock all different lengths. The toilet was higher than normal and Toto's tank sits higher as well. As far as aesthetics go, you really can?t even see the extra compression joint because the plumber cleverly placed it near the tank bottom. Mr. Gatti then said that because I was such a good customer, he wanted to make it right with me, and gave me a credit for the amount over what
my original estimate had been. I have used Gatti Plumbing in the past and have been very satisfied with them. In light of their excellent work and the fair treatment from Mr. Gatti, I will continue to use their services in the future and I will recommend them to all my friends.

Called at 7:30 AM and they had someone at our house by 9:20 AM. The representative was clearly young and new in the position but was fairly professional for his age. He removed and installed the new water heater without incident in a timely manor. Though, I thought they were only fair or a bit hit in pricing, it was made up in the promptness of service. Cold showers are never fun.

The crew conducted themselves and worked in a professional manner in the excavation and installation of the new
storm sewer lateral. Efforts to insure that the line from the clean out to the main sewer was clear of all encumbrances were noted. The resultant installation appeared to be done well . Having said this, the following were concerns:
 
 Areas adjacent to the trench back fill areas were anything but rough grade. There was a significant mound, approximately  3 feet high, in the area of the clean out that completely buried and hid the cleanout location. The concern was the possibility of clean out extension shearing during finish grade activities.  The back fill activities resulted in significant cracks to two sidewalk blocks that could have been avoided.

After a complaint, the back fill crew came back to lower the mounds, an effort  that resulted in further damage to the lawn and again with no indication of clean out location. Subsequent complaints were not responded to.

In response to  Angie's list involvement, Mr. Paul Gatti came to inspect the work. After some discussion it turned out that there was a mix up in communications within their office. He explained that the lawn scarring was unavoidable and offered to cover the affected areas with topsoil. After some digging he located and identified the clean out location. He made no offers concerning the damage to the sidewalk.

Mr. Gatti impressed me as an honest man with sincere concerns relative to his company's reputation. I probably will consider employing his services again but only after a serious discussion of what to expect.

Crew arrived on time and proceeded to do the work in an organized, professional manner. Job was done efficiently and on time.

Although the problem was resolved it took the company owner to resolve. His team was not able to or empowered to resolve the issue.

This company is excellent.  We have used them for years and highly recommend them to others.

Very well done, easy and friendly scheduling (able to be done through email).  They also gave a price estimate through email too.  The work was quick to schedule and plumber showed up on time. Plumber was helpful, worked quickly, and friendly and did well. In our opinion and experience, the price was also much better compared to a different local company.  We were very pleased to have chosen Gatti.

I was very pleased that they were able to come out on a Saturday and that the price was only an additional $30 to do so. There were two guys that came out, one I believe was in training (I don't know which of them replaced the parts). The lead young man was very nice and described what was needed and made sure and get my permission before they did anything. The same person who did the initial work will be the same person coming out tomorrow (so they can see what they did) which I think is great for accountability and learning. So although I hade some issues, it appears they will stand behind their work and fix it without incident.

We have used these guys a lot and are never disappointed. They may cost a bit more but it is well worth it. They are on time and very professional as well. They get the job done well. You do get what you pay for. We tried a "cheaper" plumber for something recently and WOW! Won't do that again. Gatti is the best!
