They were fantastic with him. They were good with me too. I had no intention of having a pet but they were really good with me and talked me in to it.

I would give them an "A". They were really great. They've had this cat since he was kitten so they had all of his records, but made it really easy on me. They got me in right when I called. it's a cat I found in the neighborhood that used to be in my garden all the time and he came in showed up with an injury. I would still use them. They check him over, they check everything.

Every visit we have had at this location we have had to wait for 45-60 minutes to be seen.  The doctor rushes through the exams, and makes us feel very rushed when we have questions or concerns about our animals.  The neutering went well for both dogs and was extremely reasonably priced.  The last time we had an appointment we were 10 minutes late, and were TURNED AWAY and told to reschedule.  After we stood at the counter for 10 minutes waiting to even check in.  The receptionist had an attitude, and kept telling us we were too late to be seen. Even though the cause of us being late was due to circumstances beyond our own control.  After waiting for them for hours at a time, I didn't think 10 minutes would cause such a disruption.  They do NOT work to accommodate their customers.

"I'm very sorry to here you didn't have a good experience at East Ridge Animal Hospital. We are a very busy office and we are working on our wait times. We do take emergencies in which sometimes puts us behind schedule. Although we are busy, our staff is qualified caring and compassionate. We welcome any questions or concerns. Thank you--Donna Ziegler Office Manager"

As a former President of a no-kill, adoption and rescue center, I take the upmost care of my animal and the wild animals on my property. After my former vet?s office in Henrietta, NY sent me conflicting notices about my animals yearly shots. I found out that my record keeping was better maintained than their office and I had to correct them about incorrect information mailed to me. I decided to move East Ridge Animal Hospital (ERAH) late last year at the suggestion of a friend that fosters for the largest animal rescue center in Monroe County. (You would know their name if mentioned but not sure if I can talk about them in the post.)

ERAH has been great! The service is a little slow but only because they are so busy and the phone is ringing off the hook. They have the best prices and take really good care of my cats. The Dr. answer all of my questions and took his time with my fussy cats. He could have easily rushed in and rushed out given the line in the lobby.

Last week my youngest cat came down with a horrible cold and was sneezing so much he couldn?t sleep. I called the clinic and the lady on the phone talked me off the cliff. Gave me suggestions and it was all free with a smile. I?m happy to report that my littlest baby is all better now and I?m happy to have found a Animal Hospital that knows their stuff.

I have been going to East Ridge/Dr. Gerald BALONEK (last commenter spelled his name wrong) since the 1980s. Their fees are very reasonable, and my pets (dogs and birds) have gotten the best of care. I agree that the waiting room is usually full and that telephone hold time is longer than ideal but that is due to the tremendous loyalty of their client base. All of the vets are outstanding. My dog also sees Dr Jennifer Markel and Dr Lefler.  I drive from North Greece and have veterinarians closer to me but prefer to continue my pet's care at East Ridge.

it was not her time to go, I knew that she would pull through whatever was going on with her. I started her on IV fluids daily and she's on a special kidney diet now and my little girl is back to her old self again!! I'm so glad I followed my gut instinct and didn't give up when things were not looking good. The tech's were very nice and very helpful. Doctor was good but just needs to remember a little empathy goes a long way!

All grades except punctuality rate B+. Sadly, the wait times drag the overall grade down to a C-.

My cat was diagnosed with a thyroid problem from Irondequoit Animal Hosp. and said that doing that doing the Surgery would cost about $2000.00 so I called a friend of mine who works for a cat rescue organization and she gave me Dr. Bolanic's name so I made an appt. with him. He is a sweet, knowledgeable man who absolutely Loves animals and has there Best interest a Heart! They are a Very Busy office because of the price's and the Vet's so sometimes the wait time can be overwelming but going in the Am or right after lunch I find is the best time. I will deff go back here again!

My cat is never cooperative when it comes to her monthly pedicure. I don't like to see her upset so I hand the carrier to the tech and she returns my cat when the work is complete. I've been doing this for the last three years and have never had a problem. Her nails have never been cut too short.
I've been using this vet for three years and find their prices a little more reasonable than my previous vet's office. The wait time is a longer, but if my appt is right after lunch the clinic moves quickly. It's a large practice so be prepared to wait. There is a definite animal smell in the waiting area that was not present in my previous vet's office. I've grown accustom to it, but it may bother someone more sensitive.
The staff, from the receptionists to the vets, are all very caring and responsive, which is why I continue to use this office.

They are too busy and don’t seem to have enough help. They have got too many customers, and sometimes, the place can be a mad house. I do appreciate and respect the vets there, and that is why I continue to go back to them. My experience with them in person has been good but over the phone, it has not been good; it is very frustrating to get a hold of them. I don’t have any problems with their prices. I would use them again in the future.
