Quotation process went well. Once material was available the 4 man crew was scheduled and worked long days to get almost finished in 3 days. That part impressed us. We had ordered a sliding glass door that hadn't arrived by the time siding was almost complete. Austin (owner of Carter) stopped to pick up a check on 9/23. The door was in and he said they would be back to finish the job by the end of the week. They never showed. I sent 7 texts to Jim Case , 8 to Austin Carter and 8 more to both of them. My wife talked to a woman in their main office 3 times and was promised someone would be in touch. I did get a response from Austin on 12/6 saying he would get his guys there next week. Never happened. I have saved all messages and responses (or lack thereof if needed for back up).So , 11 months later current status is: no siding around the sliding glass door , some loose pieces on the garage about to come off and a broken piece on the front of the house.

Avoid working with Austin on a house project this year. We hired Carter Exteriors in June 2024 to replace our siding, expecting materials in six weeks. After months of delays and no communication, supplies arrived unexpectedly in late August. Weeks later, they called asking to start that morning. The subcontractors did great work, but Austin promised to quote us on a non-standard door and never followed through. Despite multiple follow-ups from September to November, we never got a response from Austin or the company. Now, we’re hiring someone else to replace the door and finish the siding.

I can’t say enough good things about Carter. They solved several problems I’ve had over the years. Their large crew was efficient, polite, neat and very hard working. When they were finished, everything was neat and worked perfectly. They removed my kitchen skylight, rebuilt my kitchen ceiling, removed a second inoperable chimney, reinstalled the awning over my deck and gave me a beautiful roof that will last my lifetime. Jim, Austin, Hunter and their crew were knowledgeable, helpful, had great suggestions and were a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend them.

The overall experience with the team on Carters was great. From the start with Scott in the sales process. He was very professional and great at explaining things. Jim was awesome with attention to details as he was inspecting the work being done. Everything was cleaned up and can hardly tell they were there, other than the amazing looking new roof and gutters. I couldn’t be happier and to have the warranty on the work is just icing on the cake. Highly recommend using Carters.

A roofer recommended Carter Exteriors to us because our roof is so large. We get plenty of estimates because of the cost for such a large roof (45 square). Their price was competitive but being recommended by another roofer spoke volumes! Our roof was a tear off. Brad was our project manager and Igor with his crew did the job. Communication with Brad has been excellent! Igor and his crew went above and beyond to do a meticulous job. Their work looks great! Quality craftsmanship from start to finish! As of today, not only have they put a new roof on our house but covered all of the fascia, made vents on the soffits and installed new vinyl soffits. I can't say enough good about Carter Exteriors. This has been the most stress free job ever! Brad helped us with our insurance company so that a large portion of the bill was paid by insurance. He was here when the adjuster came and contacted them for supplemental during the job. At the end of the job, the guys cleaned up our yard and there was barely a trace they were there. They did leave a big impression as hard working guys striving to do a quality job.
