There is nothing they could have done differently. They did try to get everything as clean as they could. I remember them saying my ducts were very dirty and they cleaned it all out. I was happy with that.
I am not sure now whether we needed a bigger one. I don't use it that often anyway.
It was over $1,000 and I am not sure I overpaid or not, somebody told me I did. I thought they did good work and they were very conscientious about it. In other words, they did not try to sell me more than I needed. If I did overpay it is because I did not know any better. I was happy with the service. They were very responsible. I have had them come before and they both come out right away as soon as we call. They were very professional. I have been using them for quite a few years. They did exactly what they said they were going to do.
Service tech ( Reuben) arrived on scheduled time and called about 1/2 hour before arrival. He was neat, friendly and courteous. I invited him in the house and he put on booties over his shoes for cleanliness. I explained the problem with the zone that was not heating properly. After checking the main boiler we examined the problem area. It was determined that the valve to that zone
had only some surface corrosion and did work properly. The valve had been closed and he opened it and we turned on the heating system. After 10 minutes running, each room of the house was examined including the problem area and found to be producing heat as expected.
He also showed us how to use the valve in each section of the radiation to bleed off any air that might effect the performance.
This was an excellent experience and we kept our cost to a minimum. We contemplate future work and will definitely use Betlem as our preferred provider.
My old thermostat needed to be replaced. Options for new digital thermostats were presented and explained to me.
The gentleman installed the thermostat I selected and explained its operation clearly to me. He was punctual on arriving at my home and was professional ,yet friendly in his manner.
I am very satisfied with the new thermostat and its ease of use.
