They checked the out door faucet first and told us what had to be done, Then to the basement checked it all out and then gave us a quote. We thought the quote was high ( way to high ) but we had water and wanted it fixed so we agreed. They said it would be about 6 hours worth of work, But as he started working he realized there was much more then we all thought! The pipe from the toilet to outside was totally rotted through and the pipe was resting on the wood joist .( Yuck!! ) Every time he touched a pipe it crumbled so they replaced a lot of pipe. They also replaced the pipe to the outdoor faucet and replaced the missing faucet. They showed us the pipes as they went along. We also had a leak in a pump that pumped water from downstairs to upstairs and all the plumbing below the laundry tub. They replaced all the old faucets that went to the washing machine .. And they called the emergency water clean up company to come out and check out for bacteria and mold due to the type of leak it was ( Yuck)
The pipe from the toilet was also clogged so they replaced the toilet flange and cleaned out pipe. They also replaced the pipe drain from the bathtub.
It took them around 8 hours and they worked hard and very proficiently and professionally . It was hard and dirty work . The only complaint I had was when they left ,, they left the door to the garage open and the garage door open would have preferred the closed the door !!!
They checked for leaks and found one that was determined not to cooperate. They were getting tired but worked till it was complete
I suppose we should have gotten another quote price seemed very high but what is not in this economy !

Joe, our service technician, arrived to your home on July 1st 2011 at 10:06 am and provided a free estimate. You declined to go ahead with the work he quoted, which is understandable. We did not collect $300.00 as stated in your review which makes me wonder if another contractor came after us and charged the amount you stated. "Hi [member name removed], This is your third review that has been completed for the same service call that was completed on July 25th. The first review is dated July 25, 2013. The second review is dated March 30, 2014. The third review is was posted yesterday July 1, 2014. I appreciate you taking the time to complete a review but would appreciate it if you posted only one review per service call as we have only been to your home once. I understand you were unhappy with your experience and we take your comments seriously and review them in our weekly training. We completed the recommendations from Noritz Technical Support team for the diagnostic of your tankless hot water heater by cleaning the manifold and motor and adjusting the gas pressure as directed. We were unable to make the repair within the first hour and you opted not to continue with the diagnostic. Had we continued troubleshooting I believe we would have figured out the problem and repaired it. There are many internal components that could be the culprit and we need to complete the required testing to diagnose it and repair it properly. The approximate cost was not $500.00 as stated on the review, I wanted to clarify that. The Service Mgr reduced the bill based on your concerns and the invoice total was $225.72. Thank you."
