They said I needed a sewer liner and this was also untrue. They apparrently are in cahoots with Mr. Rooter.
I paid an extra 250.00 to find out I didn't need a new sewer or a liner.
"With respect to this member, we are confused and a little shocked to see this report. She is likely confusing what we told her with what her insurance company and/or Mr. Rooter may have told her. As you can see by the rest of our reports, customer service and integrity are both very important to the staff at AP Plumbing. This customer called AP Plumbing with a complaint that her basement was backing up. Upon arrival our technician found that the main line was plugged. Video inspection confirmed the sewer was broken at several locations with severe root infiltration. AP Plumbing cleaned the roots from the line and provided options to repair or replace the sewer, as the cleaning is only a temporary repair. The customer declined. In order to guarantee that the customer is seeing their sewer, we record our video inspection in the presence of the customer on a zip drive or DVD, the customer’s choice. We also video inspect after the repairs or cleaning , so the customer can see the integrity of the sewer for themselves and rest assured knowing that the work was completed in a professional manner. Her comment about us being "in cahoots" with Mr. Rooter is inappropriate and incorrect, as they are our competitor and we have no affiliation with them whatsoever. We indeed recommended a cleanup company we know to be ethical and carry the proper insurances, but never told her it would be covered, as we are not in the insurance business. This complaint is not indicative of a service experience of one of our customers or how we operate on a daily basis. We welcome all feedback, good or bad, unfortunately this information is simply false."
