Joe did the job in a timely matter, I was happy with the work and his price was good. I would use him again.

Joe and his crew were timely, professional, and respectful of our property. The price negotiated was within our budget, and when a small problem arose from a low-spot on the floor, Joe remained in constant contact to assure that the issue was resolved to our satisfaction.

Joe and his crew were a delight to work with. My front step was crumbling due to age and water damage. Joe came out and quoted me for the job. He was friendly and knowledgeable. He was able to complete the job earlier than expected which was a wonderful surprise. He took the initiative of patching some areas in the garage and sidewalk area at no charge. Having Andreassi Mason Contractor LLC complete our basement walkout repair was a pleasure from start to finish. Our experience started with a request, sent via the Angie's List website, for a quote for this project. I described it briefly, and 'Joe Andreassi' not only responded with an acknowledgement just six (6!) minutes later, but was at our house immediately after the July 4th holiday weekend to evaluate what would be needed. He was surprised to find my husband home, as I'd explained we had schedule conflicts that would likely prevent us from being home. My husband was impressed with his professionalism and courtesy, including getting Joe's feedback on an unrelated repair. Joe wrote up the quote and provided it during that visit, notable because others provided their quotes at a later date. I much prefer Joe's method, because having a quote come to us later, especially quotes that were significantly higher, made me wonder if that contractor was truly remembering 'our' job and not confusing it with another. One quote was over 70% higher than Joe's! We chose Andreassi Mason Contractor LLC because of his prompt/polite/professional communication style, his 100+ 'Grade A' reviews on Angie's List (and the specifics his previous clients wrote of), and his price. We signed and returned the detailed quote, knowing his schedule was quite full and the 2-day project wouldn't be completed for several weeks. Shortly after receiving the scanned/sent paperwork, Joe let me know that he'd had a postponement for later that week and could start as soon as two days later. Joe and his two-man crew arrived at 7:30 on the appointed day and within the first half hour had made significant progress. Both my husband and I had to go to our workplaces that day, so we were unable to watch the progress but came home 6+ hours later to find the project well underway. The area was taped off for safety, there wasn't a 'mess' all over for our grandchildren to get into, and they clearly had a process that included a well-organized work area. On the second day, they arrived early again and got right to work. By mid-day, the project was complete and the surrounding area was cleaned up (better than how they found it, to be honest). Best of all, there were no signs of damage to our property or our neighbor's yard (as a previous lawn contractor had done, leaving us concerned about hiring someone for this project). A few notes I feel are worth mentioning - one of the crewman is a smoker. This was not an issue because we had all of the house windows closed to prevent the flying dirt (and smoke) from coming in, but it might be for others. However, we're impressed that we have not seen even one cigarette butt anywhere in our yard. That kind of respect is much appreciated. Another is Joe's lack of request for up-front payment, even a deposit. Payment is due at the completion of the project, which signifies his confidence in his work, as well as respect for his potential customer. Finally, I'd mentioned my husband requesting Joe's feedback on an unrelated repair - our chimney cap had blown off in a storm years ago. My husband mentioned it in the course of their conversation, and Joe said it was an easy fix that he'd be happy to do. When we asked just prior to the start of the project what size cap we should purchase for installation, Joe offered to pick it up himself! Not only did he purchase one, but he installed it without additional charge, asking only reimbursement for the cap. And, being completely transparent, he also left the receipt for the cap with his bill at the end of the job, so we know that the reimbursement he was requesting was the actual price he'd paid! Finally, and most importantly, the finished project is perfect. It looks wonderful and is rock-solid; we won't have to be concerned about this for the rest of our lives - literally! I wouldn't hesitate for a moment to hire Joe Andreassi again, or to recommend him and his work.

Joe showed up when agreed too. Did an excellent job, very pleased with the look of the chimney. He and his crew were very professional. They left the job site very clean when finished with the work. They were very accommodating.

Great job. Joe and his crew came when they said they would. All work done in a professional manner, seemed very knowledgeable about work needed. Cleaned up after the job and took all waste away in their truck. Even though it was not in the agreement Joe put on a blacktop patch to replace the section they had to break through in order to do the repair. Very satisfied with the work done. He wasn't the cheapest estimate nor the most expensive. But he was very forthright in answering my questions and explaining what he would do. So I felt more confident using him to do the work.

Fantastic! Joe was great to work with. He completed the job in just a couple of days and the job site was never a mess with minimal disruption to my lawn. He and his crew were always courteous and respectful. We would definitely recommend this company. It was a very positive experience with this contractor. 10 out of 10!

The patio has holes, divets, and is crumbling in a few places. Mr. Andreassi is blaming me saying I've used chemicals on it or a dog has urinated on it. This is not true.  When I talked to him a few months ago before the warm weather arrived, he told me to call him right before we put out the patio furniture. I did, but when I left messages, he never returned them. I called 3=4 times. The next time I called, the mailbox was full and I couldn't leave a message. I would like to be here when it's repaired and would like him to call to set up a time.

Overall:  I am extremely pleased with my choice of Joe Andreassi to remove my old patio and install my new one.  The owner, Joe, completed the estimate and was part of the work crew each day.  He patiently answered all of my questions regarding the estimate and details of the job. 

Time frame: 2 days to complete the entire job.  Day 1 - Old patio removed, debris hauled away, new layout solidified, base prepared, bushes & gate removed.  Day 2 - New patio completed and gate reinstalled!  I now have a beautiful patio to enjoy and highly recommend Joe and his team!

Crew: Very pleasant, punctual, personable, hard workers, answered any questions I had

Price: Very reasonable $3,700 - not the lowest, definitely not the highest

I wish I could add before & after pictures on Angie's List, but can't seem to find a place to do that.  The transformation is amazing!

Joe and his team were awesome. They exceeded our expectations - they were kind, professional and did a really great job. 
They did the demo + removal of the project and we requested we keep the large stones. Not only did they remove the stones carefully but stacked them on the other end of the yard. - they even removed the extra mortar from the sides. For such a messy job they were incredibly tidy and cleaned everything up and all landscaping was left unharmed. Joe was also helpful and happy to answer any technical questions about the project, and provided advice for future care. 
Great guys, will definitely use them in the future and we definitely recommend them from a quality and professional standpoint. 

Joe was right on time for the first estimate and took his time to listen to our wants. Sent a reasonable estimate within 4 days and gave us a service date of mid-June.

We asked him to come back for another meeting since issue came up that we hadn't thought about. Again, he was right on time and was very courteous about having to come out again. He was very helpful in discussing all the issues and came up with a better plan. He gave us an updated LOWER estimate right on the spot! With this smaller plan, he told us he would be able to do it on the up coming Monday and that it would be done in a day.

His Four person crew arrived on time, at 7:30am and began setting up. They were all polite and professional. Joe supervised the project every step of the way and was VERY particular about the work. The demo started at 8am and the job was complete by 4pm. They were very careful working around my garden and even patched a few holes in my donkey statue.

They left with all their mess and left my home clean! The job is BEAUTIFUL.
 




 

Joe has amazing work ethics. He shows up when he says he will be there, easy to talk to and willing to work with you. Not only does he supervise his jobs, but also gets right in and works along with his team. Everyone was very kind and hard working. We are happy with the finished produce and would not hesitate to use Joe and his team again in the future!

It didn't. We never even got an estimate. Will not use them,ever. I can't wait forever. My time is valuable too!

Joe was awesome to work with from step one.  He got out and quoted the work super fast, and even quoted different options to work with me on the pricing.  He went as far as to pop over on a Saturday just to give me advice on how to break out the old walk and steps.  
Joe and his crew got the job done quickly, and it looks awesome.  What a great guy!  Highly recommended!

I contacted Joe last year, but his schedule was already booked so I tried 3 other people, all highly rated on Angie's List.  One was very expensive and reluctant to provide a written contract, the second was more reasonably priced, but never sent a written estimate (despite several reminders) and the third didn't show up on the agreed upon date to provide an estimate and never called to explain or reschedule. However, I am so glad I waited a year for Joe.  He called with an estimate within a week and sent it in the mail soon afterward.  The cost was definitely reasonable.  He arrived to start the job on the agreed upon date and finished when he said he would (the following day).  He and his co-workers were very personable and professional.  The end result is beautiful! They extended the front stoop (not because I asked, but because it looked better) and made the steps a more reasonable height than they had been.  The sidewalk was finished with an edging that adds a beautiful touch (hard to describe, but so much better than I had expected).  It looks so good, I am not planning to replace the railings that had been on the stoop because they would detract from the look!  Joe had to remove a small bush and to drive on the lawn in order to complete the job, but he replanted the bush and repaired the lawn before leaving.  Everything was completely cleaned up.  I will definitely use Joe in the future if a need arises and will not hesitate to recommend him to others.
