Took a while for him to finally do it, it was supposed to be colored, not just gray, and it was not, which we were never told, just saw when we got home after work. After reaching back out for weeks he finally responded saying the color mixing machine broke that that he would seal it with the color. Meanwhile the whole thing was never finished, shards of wood from the mold sticking out, gobs of concrete all over the side, up against my house, etc. After months of him saying he'd come and not, and then finally "guaranteeing" he would finish it by the weekend then had some guy come hose it down, and then never come back, on a day I took off from work to ensure the job was completed and done right.

Beware of doing business with this unethical, unprofessional, and unskilled contractor. We hired GP Masonry (owned by Gio Pannoni, so watch out for him if he simply changes his business name) to install a concrete patio which would extend the existing concrete patio around our pool. Regrettably, we paid in full before the work started - that was a major mistake. Gio failed to do anything to protect the area around the new patio from getting covered in concrete, so - surprise! - concrete was splattered all over our fence, the walls of our house, and the existing patio. Gio made a passing attempt to power wash the concrete off the house, but succeeded only in tearing paint off the walls. As you can see in the photos, the concrete he installed has numerous problems, including raised/jagged spots, pitting in other spots, and contraction joints that are neither clean nor straight. When we contacted Gio about our concerns, he initially promised to make it right, even saying that he would be willing to rip the concrete out and start over if necessary. He repeatedly promised to come to our house to review what needed to be done, and failed to show up each time. Eventually, he stopped replying to texts or answering calls. (See screenshot of relevant conversation.) While this is a minor concern compared to the problems I have described thus far, it is telling that Gio and his crew left cigarette butts and McDonald's bags strewn about the work site when they were finished. Stay far, far away.
