Samonas Prime Moving & Storage was an all around positive experience. Brian came to our house a few days after I called for an estimate. He made us feel good about the move and walked us through the procedure step by step. While we were packing we called several times with questions and our calls were always returned quickly.The day of the move went very smooth. The crew was fun and professional.At the end of the day the price came in below estimate which is always a nice surprise. AAA all around. We will use Samonas again next time.

The appraisal was very accurate, the movers were professional. My items are currently in their storage facility.

Professional, cheerful and efficient.  A team of three arrived and worked diligently.  I was concerned that we had not rented a large enough storage unit, but when they unloaded the truck, they were very thoughtful about how they filled the storage unit and everything fit beautifully.  They did a great job at a reasonable price.

It went smoothly. It was a daunting job but Brian and Justin have a can do attitude.

Only disappointment was that we were not told that the Van would not leave the day it was loaded. We did not discover this until we were leaving for PA at 2:PM. This lack of communication caught us by surprise, we had made no provision for arriving in our new home without food, clothing, bedding etc.
We would of had to sleep on  a bare  floor in the clothes we had on,  if it weren't for the fact that we had a relative living in the new area..   Thankfully the Van arrived at 8.:30 AM. the next morning.
Be that as it may, it would be wrong to ignore the rest of the service which I must rate as excellent.

Great experience. Brian was very kind and reassuring. Every member of the crew was extremely nice and friendly and knew exactly what they were doing. We were very impressed because this was a huge job. Only one (inexpensive) table was a bit scratched. Everything else was perfect. We will use them again when we move within the next month.

They were excellent. I would use them again, and I had recommended them to other people. They charged the price they had estimated. They were on time and very cooperative. They made sure they got everything done. They did not leave until everything was the way I liked it.

Brian and his two brothers arrived at 9:30 ready to start.  We had packed all boxes, so they needed to wrap and protect all furniture which they did very efficiently.  They left East Hampton at 12:40 and arrived at the storage facility at 3:30; unpacked the truck, filled the unit very masterfully and were on their way by 5:15.  They were friendly, professional and gentle with all our things.    An excellent experience from start to finish and I would hire them again in a minute.   And the total cost was in-line with the estimate, wow!

From the first call to the end of the move Samonas was outstanding.  On moving day Brian and Bob showed up ready to work and wasted no time packing and loading our belongings onto their truck.  Moving into a newly built house, my wife was worried about scratches on the just installed hardwood floors and on the recently painted walls.  Brian assured us that we had nothing to worry about and he was right.  They laid blankets to protect the hardwood floors and were extremely careful with every piece of furniture and the surroundings areas. Zero scratches!
 
They had to go up two flights of stairs and to see them maneuvered the turns without damaging the furniture or scratching the walls or floors was impressive.  They assembled the bedroom set, mirror, etc. and put all wherever we indicated.    Even thou ours was a small move, you could sense that the Samonas are the very best at what they do. 
Experience does matter as they made it all look easy and everything went smooth.  Their work ethic and professionalism was evident and I would recommend them to everyone.

Samonas Prime was outstanding. Our move was from Southold, NY to Norwich, CT. Brian Samonas came to give us the quote, he was thourough, but also showed the knowledge of experience. His estimate of weight was slightly greater than one of our other estimates. He was right. Brian was very easy to talk to, and very responsive in the time between the quote and our move. On the day of the packing, I was impressed with how many people showed up. We have lots of belongings, its a big job, and on our last move, this was underestimated. The packers were businesslike in wanting to stay on track, but cordial, friendly, and easy to talk with. It turned out that among the people we encountered throughout the process, they all were either part of the Samonas family, or long-time family friends. Their dedication to doing an outstanding job with the pride one expects to see in a Family business was apparrent. Truck loading and delivery were just as successful. The entire time, anyone we interacted with was outstanding. There was a scratch or two, here and their -- very minor, and on minor items (antiques, paintings, etc were given the extra care and wrapping/packing they call for). I've used movers 5 times in my life, with very mixed results. Samonas was absolutely outstanding, and clearly the best of the 5 experiences. I would highly recommend.
