Mr. Tranchina and his crew of four men arrived every day shortly after 7 am and accomplished a substantial amount of work each day. The excavation of all the dirt was nearly completed during the first day of work. The entire job took 7 days, including Saturday. Mr. Tranchina stays on the job and works with his crew. He is very particular when it comes to doing the right job and will not compromise the integrity of the job in any way. He uses the best materials to guarantee the job will last. In my case I was concerned because each of my walls has to be able to hold up three of my neighbors dirt yards that butt up against them. Mr. Trachina placed the weep holes in the center of each wall instead of the bottom because he explained the top 18 inches of soil was soft but most of the soil before that point was very solid and the water would not penetrate to the bottom. The concrete parking pad slopes from back to front to allow water to flow out into the community driveway to the drain. He takes the time to explain what he is going to do and why. His workers do a great job even when Mr. Tranchina has to leave the site for short period of time. You really can't ask for more in terms of professionalism and dependability. Even though Mr. Trachina's estimates are higher than others you may get, you can trust you will get your money's worth and have peace of mind when it's done.
On a side note, the reason I called Mr. Tranchina in the first place is that 50 years ago I would always see his father's truck all over my neighborhood. His father, also Anthony Trachina, must has taught his son well because unlike other companies that change names, theirs has stayed the same for decades. That alone is proof that they do what they say they will do.

The work was performed on schedule with both Tony and his crew being very respectful of our special requirements. We needed a very strong cement for our front sidewalk due to cars and trucks riding up on the sidewalk while making U turns. Tony ordered a fiber mesh cement mix for added strength and made the cement pour several inches thicker to avoid cracking under the weight of a vehicle. The workers arrived on time each day and did a nice job of cleaning up the debris after each days work. We are very delighted with the results thus far.

I am happy with the work performed by Mr. Tranchina and his crew. Unlike a number of other contractors, he personally oversees his crews daily. At times, he did part of the work himself. There were no surprises at all; everything he promised was delivered in a timely and professional manner. Additionally, he had several good ideas.

All work was completed faster than scheduled. Exceeded expectations.

Excellent. Totally professional. One note: when Mr. Tranchina is focused on work, he dislikes having to pause to explain things. Always cordial and communicative when work is done.

Overall ! Was very very happy with all the work that was done. From start to finish.

The experience went very well. The sidewalk that he did for us had some damages but he said he would come back in the spring and do some repairs for us. ANy concerns that we have had he has been very respective and responsive.

He was prompt. I really felt sorry for his guys because they were working on the south side of the house and it was during the heat spell. They were literally suffering but they did a good job. It took a little longer because of the heat. They had to knock off a little early but that was understandable. I had no problem with it because I wouldn't want to be working outside in that heat. They cleaned up every day before they left. I was satisfied. My only complaint was that he sent a sub to do the work instead of himself. The price was high. He came when he said he would.

On time, work done professionally with consideration for neighbors' feelings, and quality of workmanship outstanding.
