Hobson Window came to our Aunts house at 8:30 AM as they said they would and replaced 7 windows and 1 Sliding door and were done at 11:30. The work was excellent and they cleaned up very nice. Mr Hobson was very good to deal with. He listened to what she had to say and ordered just what she needed. Very good.

They did a very good job.  The price was good.  They did a great job, they were fast and efficient.  I was very pleased.  The price was really fair.

The process started with the estimate. After calling them, they said they would be at my house for an estimate and to discuss products in two days. They showed up on time and spent time going over the products they install and the process from estimate to completion. They told me when to expect an estimate and I it in my email within the time frame they stated.
After they left for the initial consultation, I came up with a bunch of questions. We communicated by email. They gave me prompt answers to my questions and when email wasn't appropriate vehicle, we would talk on the phone. All communications were prompt and I got thorough answers.
The installation team showed up at 8:30 as they said they would. Like right at 8:30. There were 5 workers including their supervisor. This was right after Sandy and most came from southern areas and were without power where they lived. After a few minutes of chit-chat, they started their work. It was unbelievable. By 10:15 and the old windows were out, by 11:30 new ones were in. These guys were heads down workers. They spent NO time on cell phones. They worked. And when my wife came home from work, she was a bit dissapointed. Why you might ask? Because she comes home headed for the vacuum cleaner figuring she needed to do some cleanup behind the workers. Nope. no dust dirt or debris. Had a glass of wine and gazed out the new, very clean, windows.
Unfortunately, the wrong size shutters were delivered. It happens. About a week later, the correct ones were delivered to Hobson and they arrived to do the installation. Same five guys and again heads down work. This took them about 1 1/2 hours to install.
The windows have been in for about 8 weeks. I am very satisfied with both products, windows and shutters. The windows are so much more efficient than the originals. So much more comfortable with the cold weather.
This is a very well run and efficient organization. I would absolutely use them again.

Hobson's did a great job, came right away to give an estimate, helped me decide which product worked best for my needs, then did the work fast and efficiently. No mess and the windows look fantastic. When we discovered a hidden defect in one pane they came out to see it, then ordered a new pane and popped it in as soon as possible. Very pleasant to work with.

One of the reasons I choose Hobson Window was that they are a local company with a trusted name in the area. I read a few reviews on Angies list and made the call. Steve got back to me quickly and made an appointment. He was sincere and did not try to sugar coat his estimate. He was a bit higher in cost than some others but I liked his style and honesty. His crew showed up on time and completed the job in one day. It was a painless procedure and I was very happy with the quality of the work and the professionalism of his crew. The house is already quieter and less drafty. The house was cleaner after they left than before. :) I would recommend Hobson Window to anyone.

There were either four or five installers who came punctually at 8:30 AM on the date arranged.  They brought all the windows into the house at once and went to work.  The work was done in an assembly line fashion.  Each worker was concerned with one function and it was quite obvious that they were extremely experienced in what they did.
Within four hours they were finished.  They showed me how to open and close the casement window and how to clean the windows.  They did an exceptional job cleaning up and I was left with nine, new, beautiful windows!

We had a lot of estimates and the cost was reasonable. They seemed very professional during the bid process and like they could get the job done. They had a big crew of people come out here and I was impressed how quickly they had it done, it was just half a day, and they had done all the windows in the house, that's like 20 windows and a sliding glass door. They came in, had a plan, knew what they were doing, had a lot of guys working on it, and got it done quickly. I would recommend them, they did a good job. There were a couple of things that went wrong that weren't their fault. It was a windy day and the windows knocked over but they replaced them and put temporary fixes in the window so that we would be okay till the new ones came. I would recommend them I think they have been very professional and did a good job.

We had windows installed and from start to finish everybody was professional & punctual. The Hobson crew all new what they were doing and after the windows were installed everything was so clean you couldn't tell anybody was even in your house.
