I've used the service a number of times over the years, and they always get the appliance back in excellent working condition and explain what is needed. Courteous, professional, fair. Have advised when the price of repair is not warranted and recommend when it's time to purchase new.

Called Affordable Appliance on Monday because the dishwasher was leaking badly. John called back Monday night and promised to come check it out on Tuesday. He was punctual on Tuesday and determined that the tub itself had developed a small hole where there were burn marks from a long-ago stirring spoon meltdown. He offered to order a new dishwasher for us, recommending a specific model number which we could look up online. On Thursday he was back with the new dishwasher and installed it. He took the old dishwasher along when he left. The kitchen was left just as clean as when John and Chuck had arrived. The only stress in this whole experience was dealing with the water when the leak was first discovered--once John showed up, it was a cakewalk. His service was fantastic and saved us a lot of time and worry.

Was available within 24 hours (important with a freezer and hundreds of dollars of frozen food at stake). Came out on time, tested electrical connections, found the part that wasn't working. Took out the circuit board, cleaned it, reseated it and the freezer started working again.
Made me understand that this may only work until it warms up again, but since it is a freezer and the part will have to be ordered, having it run for just a few hours while I make the decision of whether to replace the circuit board is helpful.
Both times I've used this service, I was given a range of options on how to proceed, from less expensive to more expensive.....

We left a message with answering service and he returned call within two hours. He was available to do the repair a week later. He called the night before to give us a two hour arrival-time window and arrived within that time. He diagnosed the motherboard problem quickly; this problem has been well documented on online discussion boards. He carries the motherboard part for the GE fridge with him in his truck, which meant that he could do the job all in one visit. He indicated though that if he had to return because he didn't have the part, he would not charge a second visit fee. He had a long list of customers on a sheet of paper and crossed the names off as he completed the work. He was efficient and personable and knowledeable about issues with high-end appliances.

He charged 155 for the motherboard, 75 for labor and 60 for a service call for a total of $290 + tax.

Refrigerator overheating, required routine maintenance. They were able to come same day to perform work and save my food ind my fridge.

We were extremely pleased with this company. We got their name as a referral from folks who also were very happy with the service and would use them again.
