About us

We Are Robison Oil, Westchester's largest full service oil company, has been serving the community since 1921. Robison enjoys the reputation of being Westchester's premier full-service company. In the early 70's, after the death of the founder E. Robison, the company was taken over by Mobil oil. In 1984, the Singer family, who had been in the heating oil business in the New York Metropolitan area since 1927, acquired the company. At that time, Robison serviced approximately 7,000 homes. Since 1984, under Singer management has grown to nearly 22,000 customers and 200 employees. Robison provides a variety of home services ranging from fuel oil delivery, oil heat service, HVAC service, Natural Gas supply, Natural Gas service and Electricity. Robison is currently regarded as the finest full service company in Westchester County.

They were very responsive and came right out. This is a fine company and they are very dependable. I was impressed with how fast they got here and did the work. They've always been good with us and we've used them for years. I don't like their prices because they're too high. However, this repair was covered under warranty and cost us nothing.

The salesman arrived as scheduled to quote the job. The unit was installed 3 weeks later. The service engineers arrived on time, removed and hauled away the old unit and installed the new unit within 3 hours. The area was left neat and clean. They were very pleasant and answered all questions. They also made suggestions on how to maintain the unit for efficient operation. We've been with Robison for years and have never had a problem.

THEY WERE NON-RESPONSIVE. THEY DIDN'T COME FOR APPOINTMENTS WHEN THEY SAID THEY WOULD. THEY CANCELLED APPOINTMENTS BECAUSE OF A BLACKOUT, BUT WE HAD THE BLACKOUT TOO, SO THEY COULD HAVE COME.

IT IS AN EXCELLENT SERVICE BECAUSE THEY ALWAYS COME RIGHT AWAY. THEY ALWAYS DO WHAT THEY SAY THEY ARE GOING TO DO, AND THEY KEEP THEIR WORD. THEY HAVE NEVER TRIED TO GET ME TO FIX THINGS THAT DIDN'T NEED TO.

AT THE HOTTEST TIME OF THE YEAR WHEN OUR AIR CONDITIONER FAILED, THEY TOLD US IT WOULD BE ABOUT TEN DAYS BEFORE THEY WOULD COME OUT AND FIX IT, WE SAID FORGET IT. THEY TOLD US THE PRICE OF THE PART WE NEEDED WAS EXCESSIVE, AND THE PRICE WAS IN ADDITION TO LABOR WHICH WE BELIEVED SHOULD HAVE BEEN COVERED UNDER THE SERVICE CONTRACT.

I THINK THEY ARE ABOUT AVERAGE. THEY ARE GOOD. WE GET OUR OIL FROM THEM. THEY ARE RESPONSIVE WHEN WE NEED THEM. THEY'VE BEEN OK FOR US. I IMAGINE THAT WITH THE HEATING AND COOLING THEY ARE VERY HIGH PRICED, AND THIS WINTER HASN'T BEEN TOO BAD. THEY GIVE HELPFUL HINTS ON HOW TO CUT DOWN YOUR FUEL COSTS AND CONSERVE ENERGY.

THEY'RE GOOD. I HAVE NOT HAD ENOUGH EXPERIENCE WITH THEM. I HAVE BEEN WORKING WITH THEM FOR LESS THAN A YEAR. CAMPBELL PUT IN THE HEATING SYSTEM. THEY WOULD BE BETWEEN AN A AND B ON PRICE. I HAVE SPOKEN TO ONLY ONE PERSON ON THE PHONE FROM ROBISON.
