Instead of sending someone to do an estimate of the work, they sent a plumber to do the work. When I told him I had requested an estimate, he said that he himself does not do estimates and that the company would contact me to arrange for an estimate. I never heard from them. I can't help wondering if this is a ploy -- they send the plumber out and then you feel obligated to let him go ahead and do the work.

"Customer called requesting work. We were informed on arrival they only wanted an estimate.. We tried to get back to them by leaving voice mails , no one got back to us.. sorry for the confusion."

This wasn't the first time we work with A-C-P from Pittsford. We like their no-fuss, effective and straightforward way of doing business: our needs were assessed, planned and in no time the whole combo was re-piped, installed and ready to go. I hear people complain about the price tag. Well, I never have had any qualms here: I'll be happy to spend my money on solid work and quality again.

I called up on a Sunday, made an appt for Thursday. Dave stopped by and gave me a price on work and said he would do it on Monday. Work was completed on Monday and everything works great, his helper did a great job.

Phone calls to owner's pager returned within 5 minutes. Requested and received same day service (because old tank, over 20 years old, suddenly developed a hole, leaking water into the basement). Employee of company named Scott arrived when promised to do the install. Totally professional, cleaned up job site when done, efficient, and friendly. Couldn't have been better.
