Swezey Fuel

They are a local company. We switched from another company, so they were inspecting our equipment. We signed a service contract with them today, so we will be using them for the next year for our heating oil. I was happy with them so far. I'm not sure if I got them from Angie's List. I looked up their reviews on Yelp. Apparently, how these companies work, is before they'll do their end of the contract work they want to make sure the equipment is good. I was very pleased with the service today.

I got a feeling that they been in the oil businss for generations. They maybe had just branched into the AC system, they didn't seem as an expert at that. They did get the system working, so I can't give them to bad a grade. Maybe it was the communication that was poor. Their skill was good, but they were not that good on communication. The fuel was fine, for the fuel service the prices are an 'A".

They have two different divisions. Their fuel division, I'll give them an "A".Their cooling division where they service your central air and stuff, I'm not as impressed. The AC works. They were on time, so their punctuality was good, and they were very responsive. I never had to leave messages, there was always someone to answer the phones. They give other quotes too.

They have always addressed all the issues that we have had. We have always been satisfied with them.

3 months later it stopped working. The repair guy came and said there was air in the pump because the installers only put one oil line in where they were supposed to put two. The second line is literally hanging. He said the air might be a freak thing and that the second line might not be necessary. 3 months after that the boiler isn't working again. Waiting on them to send another repair person.

They are very satisfactory. They provided excellent service.

This guy was here for 3 hours making all necessary repairs. Tested burners and found deficiencies and repaired them.

swezey is professional, reliable, and efficient. we called their customer service at the end of another oil company's contract, desparate to switch, and they gave us a great deal on a 2-year contract. we've had them for about a year now, and while we are still on auto-delivery their visits are not excessive. our previous oil company refilled way too often, leaving us with monstrous bills every couple of months. swezey provided a standard furnace maintenance check at the beginning of the year, and did not require any part replacements or unnecessary fees after their visit. we had one problem where the furnace stopped working earlier this year, and swezey sent over a technician who fixed the problem quickly; we just needed a cleaning in one of the lines. everything was covered by our contract and we weren't stuck with a big bill at the end (unlike our other fuel co). great experience with swezey thus far, would definitely recommend them.

Technician explained what the problem was and fixed it quickly. They arrived within an hour of my call, which is excellent. I happened to notice, myself, that a tiny amount of oil was coming out of another part of the furnace (a filter for the oil). I brought it to the technician's attention, and he fixed it immediately. This is a quality company. My only complaint is that the quality of service does often depend on which technician you get. In all, I would highly recommend this company.

We've used Swezey's Fuel Oil Service for awhile and they're an excellent company. They're a trusted company around here.

I have been a Swezey's customer since 1995. When ever I need them, they are always here. I have never been disappointed with. them. They service the heating system once a year and I am on a budget so I never have to worry about calling for a delivery. I am very satisfied with this company and I highly recommend them.

Went very well. Arrived on schedule completed job on time and cleaned up. Even gave me 0% financing for 1 year.

Since I was not an Angie's List user until this morning, I was very please to see that Swezey's was so highly rate. Since I needed to have the heating and hot water system looked at immediately, I got their name from the yellow pages. On Wednesday, I spoke with the salesman who provided an immediate on site review within 3 hours of calling him. He arrange for a tech to come the following day Thursday 10-16-13. As the system was not operational the tech complete his review gave me an estimate which was very acceptable and arranged to have repairs undertaken today. This was the best customer service I have ever experienced. Given my good luck and the Angie's List reviews I have read, you can be sure that I will consult Angie's List on any service I may need in the future.,

After checking with Angie's list for recommended air conditioning companies, I was so pleased to learn that my own heating and fuel company was now doing air conditioning. I have been with Swezey's for over 30 years. They have always provided excellent service. That excellence holds true for their relatively new air conditioning department as well. The service men were punctual, efficient, pleasant, and highly professional. I was greeted with a smile, every question was answered and when they were done, the house was left spotless. I have always had confidence in this company and would recommend Swezey's to anyone.

This is my second experience with Swezey's, and both times I was very pleased. I called Kent and explained my problem. He sent John out right away. John was able to find and fix the broken pipe. He changed the copper line to a plastic which it should have been in the first place. They were on-time, clean and professional, and the price was very fair. Kent even called to see how the job was going. Would 100% call them in the future. Would highly recommend them.

I first chose this company to deliver my oil about 20 years ago. The company that I had was not responsive to my needs, their services were overpriced and their work was shoddy on their best day. I called in Swezey and have never looked back. Their oil deliveries are made without my having to call them, the price of the oil is competitive and their service is punctual, prompt and reasonably priced. Since they became my exclusive dealer, they have replaced my furnace burner, my furnace and my 550 gallon oil tank all with outstanding results. They were polite, kind, friendly and responsive to my questions. (My wife loves them because they clean up when they are finished.) On the rare occasions that the heating system had to be repaired, the service technicians were there within two hours of my call. This was true even when I called once at eleven o'clock PM during a severe snow storm. Within forty-five minutes of his arrival, the system was up an working. Five years ago Sears installed central air conditioning in the house. Had I known that it was one of the things that Swezey did, I would have had them to install it. I am going to have Swezey service it now that the service contract is over. I know that if they handle it, I will have nothing to worry about. I have owned this house for forty-five years. During that time I have had five companies performing these services. Swezey, the sixth, has been the best by far, something that I say with sincerity and with no reservations.

Service man arrived on time to check out boiler. Said I was out of oil and that I should get new unit. Received price for new unit to be installed in a couple of weeks.

January 23 we had the company come in. We had used them a few years ago. I locked into a rate for my oil. And put in to get a two year service contract, Someone came to do the initial inspection said nothing and left. It is now 2/25, we ran out of oil. We called in the middle of the night, they said a service man would contact us, no one did. We called again same thing. We woke up, called the dispatcher, said we can't deliver to you, since we had no contract. We called our salesman, he said we had not contract because we didn't pass the inspection. They sent a serviceman, he got the burner working, by putting in 10 gallons of fuel. My husband asked when we were going to get our delivery, he said we are not, because they said our tank wasn't up to code. We don't understand why we had to wait until we had no fuel, sitting in the cold, to find all this out!! Mind you they were our company about 3 years ago.

Coldest day of 2013, 4 degrees out- put call in at 4:30am boiler fixed by 9am. John and all the service guys are great. This is the fourth emergency call regarding no heat or hot water over four years...always quick response and repair. Glad we chose to have contract with them when we moved in. Waking up to a cold shower or no heat is no fun, glad we can rely on their service and regular deliveries. My heart goes out to Sandy victims who are still living with space heaters...

Spoke with Brad on the phone. No pressure and answered all my questions over the phone. I knew what I wanted based on other estimates, so there was no need to come out. He seemed very knowledgeable and did rush to get me off the phone. I would have used Sweezey, but went with another highly rated company on Angie's List and saved a few dollars.

Swezey conducted an inspection of our boiler before the service began. No complaints other than the price of fuel oil on Long Island.

We relied on Swezey to get us though Hurricane Sandy and they came within a few hours of being called to help where they can. They have never pushed us to buy additional services and only made suggestions when necessary. We recently had a serviceman out to our home to discuss different heating options and was very impressed with how knowledgeable and friendly he was. Considering how often these companies come to our home, especially in the wintertime, it's important to have a contract with a company you can trust.

They do not do COD deliveries. I received this information and a very nasty attitude from their customer service rep. All I did to receive that attitude was say and quot;Hi, how are you,and quot; and ask about fuel delivery. I probably would have went for a contract, but she didn't even try to sign me up for one.
